Question Usb otg failure on motorola edge 30 ultra - Motorola Edge 30 Ultra / Motorola Moto X30 Pro

I just got my new edge 30 ultra and tried to restore some pictures from my 1 TB hard drive via otg. The default usb control is with the connected device and I couldn't switch the connection control to the phone.
Any pointers?

Can confirm, its buggy, takes a long time to detect my USB Flash Drive.
I also have a samsung T7 SSD but it doesn't detect when I unlock it with the fingerprint.

Does the phone support the right file formats?
I had this issue with pixel phones as well due to lack of support for ntfs
anything exfab works fine - potentially moto have the same issue?
I also have a Samsung t7 drive but it never worked with the Pixel - works fine with s22 ultra and all oppo phones I've had due to support for ntfs

Try different otg cables.. it may be the problem.

Review of anker mini mouse/keyboard combo

you heard me, it's a mouse/keyboard combo for a pc but the catch is...wait for it.. it works for our phone! and it's wireless!
this basically enables us to use it like a tv box over airplay and a microusb-usb adapter
heres an album:

Pros:
plug and play(pc and android)
small, wireless
good range(works across a room)
tiny mouse
logitech like build quality
tiny dongle(smaller than the canadian quarter)
cons:
no built in battery
to get it working, just connect the dongle to a microusb-usb adapter and it'll work perfectly(im running kitkat 4.4, if anyone else runs a different version and its not working, please report it here)
I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promised that my review is fair and honest

Endoscope on moto x !!

is moto x support to connect external camera?

I've tested a usb dental camera with 2 OLD android tv sticks in the past and they worked, I've also used the Moto X (Newer than old android sticks I had) to boot different Operative Systems from it and it has worked all the times, even with stock firmware (my current driver).
With those examples what im trying to say is that Its all in the kernel of the firmware installed in your Android device, if the kernel supports it then you're in the other side - winner!
If the Endoscope has a generic driver and off course is USB then there is a high chance it will work.
You'll need a good otg adapter (mini USB to full female USB port) that stays firm in the mini USB port of your phone.

This cable that you have on image, is typical microUSB/MiniUSB video cable for older cameras, not phones. I think I have somewhere such cable that I got with old camera.
Also I dont know any mobile device that send analog signal via such cable, only cameras, chinese portable gamestations, some mp4 players and few other devices, but not phones that use digital MHL/microHMDI standard
thanks a lot

broken displaj can not see anything and touch
Hello,
I'd like to restore contacts, photos and data from my old LG.
I would like to do it via PC and USB cable. (USB OTG with mouse no bcs can not see anything!)
When I try "Vysor" and "dr.fone" there is a problem in USB Mout.
I have ADB drivers installed.
I just need a tutorial on how to connect my PC to Android.
Note that the phone works, only the display cannot be displayed and the touch cannot be touched.
? Up
Maybe you can use this tool. If USB debugging is not enabled, there is a possible work around in the FAQ section of the first post of the linked thread.

USB charging but no file transfer

Some weird issue with my phone - I cannot connect it to Windows 10 (tried on two computers) using USB type-c cables laying around.
When connecting to USB on PC - the phone is charging, but there is no USB notification in the notification bar, where you can choose an option. When I try to search for USB options - they all grayed out.
Cables working, same for USB - checked wy my wife Motorola G7.
Tried to set a default mode in development options - still no luck.
Tried to connect a mouse - works.
No root, no custom firmware.
What to do? How to fix it?
This is a development option:

}
And that's what I see when connecting to a PC
