Weather location fix????

I can't find my city on my weather display and I've noticed other peoples themes here here shows the city AND state where mine only shows a nearby city and country origin...Is there a program or anything out there to help me get my city and state..
Thanks in advance
This is under the HTC Home settings?
Ive never had a problem with the HTC Home settings with my city.
Try installing HTC Home Customizer and see if it helps.
HTC weather does not have a very extensive list, it doesn't show my town (Redwood Valley, 115 miles north of San Francisco), in fact it doesn't show any towns north of Santa Rosa, like Ukiah, Lakeport and Eureka. Santa Rosa is 70 miles south of me, so their weather is often a lot different than ours, so I use programs like Weather Watch and Weather Bug, Weather Bug has the information from a school right here (Eagle Peak Middle School) in Redwood Valley.

Hi, you can add new locations using Menu (in te right bottom) pressing Add New Location, this will re- direct you to the AccuWeather page, where u can select by country and city, anywhere, many cities are not listed, so you have to make an approximation to another near yours. Besides, you have to get a Wi Fi connection or a date plain by your cell provider, and obviously, be connected at the moment. Greetings

Issues in the maps
1 - The problem, as the picture shows that the places or streets does not appear well
2 - The other problem is that the names of areas not appear in the local language (Arabic) just in english
These problems appear only in All gingerbread ROMs
But with ics ROMs These problems disappear
Any street look nice and more importantly the names of places that appear in the local language (Arabic)

[Q] Blinkfeed feeds from country.

Here's a question for all HTC ONE users (I've still not got mine yet, so can't test it out).
Is it possible to select sources from a different country from where you are using or bought your phone from?
For example, UK phone wanting to get USA sources for Blinkfeed.
I'm asking cos I will be buying my phone from Hong Kong but since I can't read Chinese, it will mean I only have a few English feeds to read.
I had a try at https://start.htcsense.com, and the first option is to set your Country, does that also happen when you first set up your phone/Blinkfeed as well?
Would it be possible to change your country or locale of your feed? OR will that have to wait for a new version where you can enter your sources directly?
Yeah it is possible
Yeah it is possible to select sources from a different country
On main/ Blinkfeed screen, goto right corner - just above blinkfeed, hit the 3 dots - then go settings , local content and set local content (Country or International)
As for entering your OWN PERSONAL sources directly (RSS FEEDS) -Thats not possible at the minute, I believe that all content if funneled through HTC Servers, but you can select from the HTC offerings , smartphone feeds, entertainment feeds ect, ect
hope this helps
Hit THANKS
if this helped
Thx :good:

Lenovo Smart clock - unable to change "display language" on Google Home back to PT

Lenovo Smart clock - unable to change "display language" on Google Home back to PT
Hello,
I've bought a Lenovo Smart Clock back in December as a Christmas present for my wife; altough Google mentions that for smart displays only a small set of languages is supported, like English UK/US/AU, French, German, Swedish, Japanese, Danish, Italian, Norsk and Nederlands, Lenovo device also supported Brazilian Portuguese.
Thing is, after messing around with the Google Home app and seeing that the "Smart Display" language setting was unset, we set it to English....big, huge mistake!!!...because now we are totally unable to set it back to Portuguese, as the option doesn't show on the list of supported languages. Even doing a factory reset doesn't solve; when the device configuration starts you can select Portuguese, but then the setting on Google Home app overrides it.
Does anyone have a workaround for this?
Google doesn't seem to care an fix this...at least let "unset" the language for smart displays, so that the setting set on the the device prevails in detriment of the one on the app.
Thanks
Solution of your problem
Hello Carrot,
I completely understand your problem and first time, I also face same issues when I install some smart devices in my home. That time I read one blog - in which they give full information and list of home apps which is suitable for any device.I am dropping link of that blog , if it works then share it. - https://bit.ly/3fODRkj
Hi there,
Maybe you’ve already solved the problem. If not, then this may help you:
Open the Google Home app, tap your profile picture and select Assistant settings. Select the Assistant tab and change the language from there. Then reset the clock and set it up using the Google account you just changed the language of the Assistant of. Afterward you can add another language and set up Voice Match if you want to.
Portuguese is available in my Assistant Settings, so it should show up in the list of languages on your phone as well.
