Hi, I have purchased Realme X from china, but it is not working with Jio sim in India, only Jio Data service is working voice call is not working. Cant see VOLTE in settings. Can anyone help to resolve the issue or how do I upload Global ROM as well. It has chinese ROM but wanted to change to Global ROM.

How to change Chinese RealMe X to Global would be really nice.

It is one of the best budget smartphone which includes almost all features like a flagship phone.
The hardware specifications of the two versions are the same, but it seems version of base rom is checked in update. Hope the BL can be unlocked soon, I don't want to stay on the ColorOS.

I can't flash it with MSM Download Tool because I get error: Parameter5 exception.
I d9n't know what is that. But , you guys can try with provided user and pass.

I created this threat to know if there are any developers working on the Oxygen Rom for this phone. I recently bought it and shifted from my old OnePlus 5, I miss a lot of features Oxygen OS had!
Red Magic 3 is a beast but just lacked by the software optimization! I think it would be perfect to have this rom for this phone! I have Red Magic 3 with Global version.

I tried to flash the Oxygen Rom from this site: https://mymidiary.blogspot.com/2019/07/oxygenos-op7-pro-stable-v959-gsi-by.html (A only image).
However I got boot loop in the boot loader mode and I had to flash the system image from the CN rom to get out of it. I do not know if it is possible to use this rom.

I'm interested to buy z20 but I have never owned a nubia (or zte) phone so I wanted to ask:
1. Historically speaking, does nubia give android version upgrades to their z series phones? Like their most recent z17 and z18?
2. Did they announce / guarantee that android 10 will come to z20?
I want the stock dark mode feature in android 10 so I'm asking if it will come to z20

As a Chinese and who used Nubia X before, I can tell you NOT RECENTLY.
Nubia is a company that it doesn't like to update system regularly for their products even they know the users are not satisfied with that.
I think it may get a android 10 update next year (before the next generation of Z series), but don't expect too much. You'll get used to the Nubia.

Thank you for response. I do expect them more or less to not give updates because they aren't as known or big a brand as huawei/xiaomi and even popular oppo/vivo is very sketchy in giving updates.
Did they give android version upgrades to z17 and z18 series? I mean from nubia, not custom roms.
I have seen custom roms for z17 series phones. Will z20 get custom roms in future? I only need the basic stuff as long as the multi-tasking of both screens is still available. I have apps that can do the game space stuff.

The z17 and z18 just updated the UI, but the android version is still the old. I think next year z20 will got an official android 10 update, but not very recently (second half year? maybe)
For the custom roms, in the future, I don't think there would be too many, since the phone is not very popular even in China.

The phone was released in 2016 . as for system update
The EU ROM was updated till android 7.1 from android 6. And cn version gets update on android 6 last sept we got new release . the cn version also has android 7 but development was stopped. As for custom ROMs
My z11 is on havoc 3.3 android 10 with gcam.
All I can say is if you have a developer to support the device for at least a few years its more than enough.

I've read a bit and it seems possible to move from ColorOS to OxygenOS by flashing. What are the pro and cons with that ?
I recently bought a One Plus 10 Pro out of black friday deal. And I did a bit of a mess and bought an CN version.
Can I managed to be "fully stock" on a EU version coming from this CN hardware ? Having Android Pay working, safety net etc... ? and OTA updates normally ?
Or is it just simply impossible and i should cancel my order and get an EU version ASAP ?

not sure if this is what you want (
). I haven't found any other official Realme ui 2.0 yet. You can try to install a stable custom rom like (https://pixelos.net/download/RMX2020) or (https://arrowos.net/download). Instructions for installing, rooting or saving the phone when it fails see at (https://www.youtube.com/@DeroxOP/videos) I find this tutorial channel the best.
I absolutely do not understand why there is UI 2.0 with Android 11 only for the Indian version of Realme C3 (RMX2027) and not for the global version of Realme C3 (RMX2020)? Is there any hardware difference between RMX2027 and RMX2020? It has been a very long time since the UI 2.0/Android 11 for RMX2027 was released to auto update, i.e. it is practically certain that the UI 2.0/Android 11 for the global version of Realme C3 (RMX2020) will not be released through the normal route. The last update for RMX2020 was 2022#05, i.e. already one year ago. Wouldn't it be possible to solve the problem by switching the RMX2020 to the Indian mutation and using some proxy/vpn server in India to simulate the situation that the mobile is located in India on the Indian Internet? Maybe then the official UI 2.0/Android 11 update would automatically jump to RMX2020 as well? Has anyone tried? Can anyone recommend any suitable software for simulating Indian mobile IP address?
