Question Can't see the edge light up when plug into charge - Motorola Edge 30 Ultra / Motorola Moto X30 Pro

I've seen in several YouTube reviews that the edge lights light up whenever we plug it to charge and it fills up with a green light according to your battery level. Can't seem to find that in my unit. Anybody else has this feature in their phone?

XDA IIi dead?

Hi all.
I've bought a XDA IIi on eBay, with no cradle (An O2 one from UK, and I live in Spain). I received it with a travel charger, for a SPV E200 model, but with the same connector. The travel charger supplies an output of 4.5-12V and 400 mAh. The XDA did not work, so I supposed I received it with the empty batteries (both main and backup batt), so I put it to charge with the travel charger. After 2-3 hours of charging, it still does not work, does not respond to power button or soft and hard reset attempts. But the XDA shows an orange/red blinking light when charging it. According to the manual, it should be an amber solid led when charging it. The only solid led I've seen is a green one on the charger.
I still don't know if it works. I'm receiving and usb sync/charger cable these days, but I don't know if it will light up the PDA.
I've seen some posts where people talked about much more charging hours, and one post talking about that blinking orange led was caused by a low-power charging, and another where talked about it was a problem with empty backup battery. But after 2-3 hours I think at least the backup battery should be fully charged.
I would like to know if anyone knows what does that blinking led exactly mean, and if I have to charge it 24 hours or more until it responds to power button and does anything else but blinking light. Has it to be a continued charging?.
Thank you.
OK, I've received an usb sync/charge cable and a charger, and after some minutes charging it worked. I've got the next conclusion:
Blinking led means charger not giving power enough. Red led means crytical battery level. (So blinking red means no charging power enough and very low batt). Solid led (no blinking red or amber) means enough charging power. Amber led means no crytical batt level.
I hope this helps anyone who got the same problems I got too.

Faulty LED on charger

So, I thought I see if anyone else has had this issue with the Nook charger. My first charger stopped lighting up correctly (not turning green when charged). The LED actually never changes from amber, even when the nook is not plugged in. It also stays dimly lit for about 60-120s after the cable is unplugged from the wall. It still provides the normal charge, but I'm scared to use it. I had this replaced (and the replacement is now broken - arg), but I was wondering if it might be safe to use.

Charging lights blinks??

So I have my Vivid plugged into my car charger right now, and the led light is blinking, one blink orange, one blink green and goes in that pattern. I've never seen this happen before and I have no notifications. Any ideas? If I unplug it the light goes away, then if I plug it back it it blinks again
Everything is just so VIVID
Well is it charging you battery at all?
It means your battery/phone is too hot. If you can get it indoors to cool down it should begin charging again. I just had this issue yesterday.
It very very VERY slowly charging. It was abnormally hot so it makes sense. It's charging just fine now on the same charger. I've just never seen that before on any of my Android phones I've had so I was a little confused lol

Blinking red LED light?

So I used GPS to navigate from NJ to Connecticut. Phone was using car charger and well as being on full brightness and Google Navigation running. I happened to notice the LED light was blinking red which I've never. I had some emails and messages, which I cleared the notifications and read them. The light still blinked red. It continued until I unplugged the charger for a bit, exited out of nav, and plugged it back in, and reopened Nav. The phone was very hot.
I also noticed the car charger didn't seem to keep up with the amount of power the phone was drawing, because it had decreased a little, but not drastically.
Was it overheating? Is this normal? Now I'm in the office charging it normally and there is no blinking red LED, just the typical static red LED.
unless you have a fast charge car charger it wont keep up while using navigation. ive experienced that on every smart phone ive owned. im not sure about the blinking red light. might be because it was in charge mode and was losing power. and its gonna get hot when charging and using gps/nav or playing games
This just happened to me in the car. I took at look at the temperature with a battery monitor and it looks like it happens at around 120 degrees F. Searching other threads (One X) shows similar behavior when an overheat+charging condition occurs. After I blasted the A/C and cooled the phone off, the phone resumed charging (solid red LED) without having to re-insert USB.

Wireless charging won't work unless screen is locked

What's the trick to allow the Note 9 apps to function while it's wirelessly charging? Currently, the phone won't even charge when wirelessly docked unless I lock the screen or enable Daydream.
Is there a hack that can fix this arbitrary limitation?
There's no hack. The Note 9 functions just fine while wirelessly charging. You have a bug.
Thanks for the quick reply. So, you can have an app like YouTube running on the foreground full screen while your phone is fast wireless charging?
Mine DOES show that it's charging in the notification bar, but the red led on the phone doesn't turn on unless the phone screen is locked. So, it looks like it's charging, but it doesn't actually charge the battery. When doing searches on this issue, I just see others asking the same question without a solution.. even for other Android phones.

Mine charges just fine while using it. I often put it on the wireless charger and watch Netflix. Of course using it will slow the charge rate, but it should at least keep up with the use.
Does your red led for charging stay on for wireless charging while watching Netflix, etc? Mine turns off unless the screen is off.

No that light only stays on while the screen is off.
Your get the same thing when using wall charger, indicator only turns on when screen is off since it's a notification LED. It isn't meant for it to stay on while screen is on since you can see battery icon showing its charging.
From what I've experienced, the phone will charge wirelessly, with screen on (about 800mAh) and wirelessly fast charge (I cannot get a mAh measurement, because the screen has to be off to get the "fast charging" toast message seen on the lock screen) with the screen off.
This seems like an odd limitation to purposely install, but there it is.
