Well...i am using your rom on Mi9 and i was wondering what will i use on Mi11...but there is no twrp for Mi11?

在这个系统上可以刷twrp吗。

Camera takes photo unclearly, and TitaniumBackup can't restore data on android13.

Weather widget doesnt work. Someone with same problem?

I on this rom possible miui camera port?

For some reason wifi stopped working after update through OTA. Is it a known bug?

Everything else is very good, but the power consumption is a little fast.

I tried this Rom. The colour adjustments keep reverting to factory, no matter how many times I changed them. I like to use warmer and more saturated colours. Reading mode also doesn't seem to "stick" and it only last for a few moments. Installed this in two different Mi11 phones and they both have the same issue. Any fix for this? Many thanks

You have any plan support for Mi max 2 offical?
I dirty updated from 7.4 to 7.9 a week ago. It's working nice here. No freezes and no bugs. But call recording doesn't record anymore which is a problem for me. Does it work for somebody?
I use Magisk + Axet's Call Recorder
Just updated to this ROM. Everything is fine and smooth but when I enable Wi-Fi Calling, the person on the other hand can't hear me, but I can hear them.
Anyone else facing this issue or know how to resolve this?

Thanks for the good work.
I am experiencing a bootloop when installing open gapps after the crDroid image.
Could this be due to my procedure?
I boot into fastboot.
Then:
Code:
fastboot flash boot twrp-3.5.2_9-0-tissot.img
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.5.2_9-0-tissot.img
Wipe the data. I also proceed the step in which I have to confirm with typing "yes".
Then I activate adb sideload, with whom I call
Code:
adb sideload .\crDroidAndroid-11.0-20210925-tissot-v7.10.zip
When I reboot now, everything is fine. But I would like to have a minimal set of gapps. Therefore with the same procedure without restarting after (4) I install the open gapps package (open_gapps-arm64-11.0-nano-20210929.zip).
Installation proceeds and is successful.
restart
I endlessly see horus' eye flashing in colors...
Any advice what I can try else?
further notes:
also tried pixel experience ROM, which is working fine (but here is no need to install gapps in addition because they are included). I decided against using it because it is bloated somehow, crDroid seems lighter to me.
also tried LineageOS but did also experience the bootloop. Here it was in bootloop also without installing the gapps
The rom works pretty well so far, the latest update to remove blur effect really helps the smoothness a lot! Running it without gapps.
The two issues I've had is volume often spiking when using headphones (basically when moving forward and backwards in songs/videos), and the display turning on to show the clock very often, even if the phone isn't touched or moved (this one is very minor since there was some setting to disable this behavior).
Build date2021-10-17
Updated flawlessly.
Call recording is working again (Magisk & Axet call recording) Great!!!!!
Hey Google not available. Voice match doesn't work? It's only on my phone?
Great ROM. All is working perfect.

Great to see you on Android 12, will give this a play with later today.
ROM looks good, but mobile data not working at all.
It registers that Verizon is the network, but still also says No Sim card detected.
Does this rom support pixel shifting(burn-in protection)?
I've been hoping that someone could confirm or refute the comment that mobile data doesn't work. Can anyone say?
Also, which recovery is recommended? The only ones I know of (Orangefox & TWRP) claim not to be A12-ready.
Thanks for any advice.
(P. S. Is this correct?
reboot to bootloader
adb flash recovery recovery.img
Should the second command not be "fastboot"?)
Hi,
Mobile data work,
Flash using fastboot installer,
Nikgapps Core work perfectly.

Rename the Long name from the gapps in GAPPS. Put the renamed GAPPS in your adb Folder, reboot in recovery , in recovery you choose Apply update and then Apply from adb then use this Command: adb sideload GAPPS.zip

Yeah, nice to see more ROMs doing that. I might try this on my device soon.
Which recovery should we use? Orange Fox and TWRP are based on 11 so not sure we can go that route.
Look in the Orangefox thread for my comment about TWRP not working but Orangefox working perfectly first time.

After struggling for many hours to install this ROM, I'm now very pleased with it and I'm already looking forward to future updates (no pressure...). On that topic I'd just like to ask about the update script, which mentions reinstalling Gapps. Is this actually necessary, as on previous ROMs Gapps "stuck" between updates? Not a problem, just checking.
Edit: Ah, it occurred to me that when updating I guess the update goes into the inactive slot and would therefore require a new set of Gapps. I also guess that from then on Gapps reinstallation wouldn't be needed.
Finally, against the rules, thanks to firebird11 for this great ROM.
(P.S. Magisk 24.1 works fine for me).
I am on 7.12 version of this rom (android 11). Can I update straight to this one (android 12) without having to do a clean install?
I will try and install this ROM as well now.
I'm on op8t and i tried the crdroid 12 but after installation i went back into recovery and it didn't show the internal storage, at first i thought it was recovery (twrp) so i installed orange fox but same result no access to internal storage.
I don't have this problem with android 11 only on 12 has anyone experienced this if yes please help me solve this problem.

Both can't decrypt internal storage properly on A12. So, it will not work unless ROM doesn't implement encryption on internal storage.
A nice ROM, at least with your build. I tried building it myself, but my build was very unstable and didn't have the fingerprint sensor working. Maybe it's because whole crDroid was in transition between versions (though this shouldn't be an excuse for anything). Your build of the ROM worked flawlessly. Nice to see a ROM without any Google bloat- and spyware. OP Camera and Gallery apps are a nice addition. I'll be sending my 8T to OP for a minor repair soon, would be glad to see an update and a stable codebase until then. Thanks for your work!
Any news for CrDroid 8.2 update... ?

crDroid v8.9 [OFFICIAL]Now official!
Is this rom only for Xiaomi Mi 11Pro? I don't see support for the Mi 11 Ultra anywhere.

IIRC, OP only develops for the Mars and not Star. It just so happens that usually roms for the Mars work for the Star but you won't be able to get stuff like miui cam for the Star
If you're willing to use GCam exclusively, forgot the back display. OP's roms seem to work great
Thanks for the information. I understand there is no development for Star. But then I don't understand why the thread is here and not in the discussion for Mars. The argument they usually work can also mean that it is a lottery if the rom will work on the Ultra? I don't want to risk it, so I have to continue to put up with MIUI. Thank you for the explanation and have a nice day.

Thank you. But why no fast charging? Slow charging indicator ?
How awesome! I'm running CrDroid on my Poco F3 and it works flawlessly. Just bought a Mi 11 and I cannot wait to flash this!
QUESTION: on my Poco F3 I do all my CrDroid flashing through that modified (SKKK, I think) version of TWRP and I have it installed on my Mi 11. Can I use TWRP to flash this, since I don't have a computer available for the next couple days?

Replying to my own question. It installed perfectly through TWRP.
Rom seems to be working fine, but I'm having problems with the screen colours - if you edit them (saturation, for example) the changes work for a little while but then it reverts to default colors. Also night light turns things way too warm, even at the minimum setting. Looking forward to more updates!
where is the boot.img?I can't download it.
after flashed crDroid v8.10,I can't fastboot boot BOOT-3.6.2_12-Mi11_v6.3_A12-venus-skkk, and can't install it.

Mars/Star ROM Updates
Perfect!
This rom is compact and powerful. Also, there is no Google Kit, I am in China, don't need it, haha! More importantly, there is also a lock screen to disable the drop-down function, which is perfect for my needs. Highly recommended. Thanks to the author, I don't know if it is Chinese, the custom is also very good in Chinese!
Looks really wonderful. I'm tempted to try ... Again only downside is that it is not meant for star.

I don't mind the rear screen. Didn't find much usage for it. What bugs me is the photo quality of AOSP. Couldn't make decent photos. Even gcam crapped out on me.

Yeah, I did follow Matteo and his work. But the cam would crash if not on Miui. Tried on Project Elixir, but that reported the device as mars, not sure if that is related though. PE+ same story. I might play with it a bit, if I manage to connect swift backup to my NAS.
Safetynet does not pass ("Fail - Response payload validation failed") on this rom for me. Not rooted, any ideas?
Edit- it's ok now
Thank you for this splendid ROM!!
If I want to root this ROM, what is the right way to do so?

Can someone please guide me on what they did -- or downloaded -- to get items to flash through Fastboot?
I'm in Fastboot Mode, but the device is never recognized on the PC.
When the device is powered on, the device is recognized in ADB, even allowing me to boot to Fastboot Mode.
Thank you in advance!
Figured it out!!

Yes
How does the rear display behave on this ROM?
I saw a video somewhere that on custom the rom was lit all the time and did not go out.
The rear display can't be used as these ROMs are mainly build for Mi 11 pro and not directly Ultra. They can be used without problems but not the rear display. If the rear one is lit up usually a reboot fixed it. I never faced that to be honest.
Is it only 8w when the screen is on?
