General Turn off Easy Unlock in AOSP Mods (v2.3.0) before updating to November Update - Google Pixel 7

Easy unlock in AOSP mods version 2.3.0 is not compatible with the November software update, 13.0.0 (TD1A.221105.001, Nov 2022). If it's enabled after you update, whenever you try to input pin and let the feature work, phone will not unlock and go back to lockscreen. Can possibly try to hit enter before the mod activates when you enter pin. Otherwise will have to disable/remove mod.

Hi,
Im new with root, can you please send me instructions how to update via OTA if I have root? Thank you very much!
You do it through Official Google Android Flash Tool?

I used pixelflasher to update. Here's the main xda thread with a guide posted. I also recommend to read the most recent comments on the thread as well as the support thread for your device before you update.

Just follow the guide. You download the factory image. Then the guide will help you patch the necessary files needed to flash and update. You won't lose your data as long as you select the "keep data" option.

Yup. Ask if you are confused about anything. Also if you have AOSP mods, remember to turn off easy unlock before you use pixelflasher. That specific option is not compatible with this update using AOSP mods 2.3.0.

I wouldn't be able to tell you best way to back up phone. I just do a normal backup using settings and google drive.

Thank you for your help and time.
So I updated the whole thing, and then I found out that I updated the same firmware :- D
I have the sw version installed (TD1A.220804.031, Oct 2022)
in the settings it offers me the November update (OTA).
at https://developers.google.com/android/images it is still Oct 2022
Am I doing / watching something wrong? Or is there simply an OTA update, but it is still not possible to download it from the website? Well thank you!

You have a pixel 7 right? If you followed the steps correctly, most likely you downloaded the wrong file then.
The factory images are organised from oldest to newest, newest being at the bottom. So you need to make sure you downloaded the "TD1A.221105.001, Nov 2022" version depending if you have the verizon version or not.

Easy unlock makes it so whenever you enter the pin for your passcode, you don't have to hit enter. Once you enter the correct numbers, it automatically unlocks.

@Shawn5162 I've actually been meaning to say something about that, everytime I try going into the bug report section or the feature request section the page times out. Every time. I know that is not your problem per se, I suppose I was also wondering whether that was also happening to anyone else?
Has anyone else got a continuous white line across the bottom of their screen? Since I started using Titan Rom (xt1068 1.1.1) I have had this problem. I don't think I had it while on stock. It didn't bother me at first, hence why I never said anything, but its kinda irritating me now. I've attached an image of it (click to enlarge).

I just tried making mine 320 (It's set to 300 by default it seems) and it actually looks more along the lines of what I remember stock KitKat was (Battery icon is now the same size). My eye sight is starting to waver so larger text and icons are better for me

I'm having an issue with apps not being able to write to SD.
for example Swiftkey can't save language packs and Snapseed can't save photos after I have edited them. Any ideas? Couldn't find much in the main thread, one person seemed to have a similar issue but I didn't see any responses.

ey there!
I really want to install a llolipop rom, but i think i am really going to miss the volume rocker wake and the double tap in statusbar to sleep.
Is this implemented in the titanprime? Is there any doubletap to wake implementation o progress update?
Thank you in advance

There may be other ways but one way is to download TWRP Manager from Play if you're using TWRP Recovery. Open it and it will tell you it has problems with SD card permissions, tell it to fix it and reboot. If It does nothing then go to settings, scroll down to SD card patch and do it there. It will reboot automatically.

it didn't tell me it needed to and Apply SD Card patch was greyed out, so I chose Undo and nothing had changed after the reboot.
then I applied the patch and still nothing had changed after the reboot.

Yes and I'm curious, if you look at the permissions for your card, are they readable and writable?

I'm currently updating via recovery...I'll run the test for you once I get booted up...It's taking a while to flash the zip.
FYI, If you can't get ADB to work (like myself), you can update your phone with this OTA.zip via stock recovery. Once you get to the android guy laying on its back, hold power and then press volume up to get all the recovery options. From there you can choose "update from sdcard."
Can you post MD5 checksum?
@tjarvis did you receive this ota directly on your phone? Trying not to get stuck in a situation where I have to revert back to a stock image to upgrade to the official update. Release notes indicate this is probably not the official build that will be released to the public since version numbers differ.

Stock Boot Image OxygenOS 11.0.8.13 KB05BA

Hi Guys,
can someone extract the stock boot image from Oxygen OS 11.0.8.13 Europe Version for me? I don't know how to do this and want to update my OP8T. I'm using magisk at the moment.

You don't need the stock boot img to update. Just do a local update, DON'T reboot, tap install magisk, select "install to inactive slot", tap ok, reboot

I'm on stable and it's there. Weird
I noticed it's asking me to install OTA version 10.0.10.10 on my Verizon 8T. however I cannot seem to locate a FULL download of this to upgrade. I don't change a lot on my device, I have always just ran TWRP, MAGISK & the Stock ROM with minor changes. This is my daily driver & therefore very important it's STABLE & WORKING. Not "surprise, your GPS or WiFi doesn't work now" or boot looped for 9 hours & requires a wipe, & all such things as that....
My question is, two part:
Do I still need to be seeking a Full copy of the ROM? Or is there a good way to apply those incremental OTA updates another way? Can I download, apply locally, (don't reboot) flash TWRP/MAGISK to other slot, & it work ok? Or is that risky?
Secondly,
Is there anyway to apply the security updates independently from the ROM? I like having the latest security patch but don't necessarily always want to jump on every single OTA.
AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU guys for all that you do for the community & any info you can offer. I promise, I did try to read to find this out for an hour without luck before posting. lol.

1. There is a method to apply small incremental OTAs, but applying full OTA, i reckon is safer as it overwrites files during installation and not patches only necessary ones.
2. In OOS settings (Security and Lock Screen) there are two options, for checking of security updates.

Maybe will update maybe not will see . Cheetah is booting too but apps is force close and cant fix now because i dont got the device . So please dont ask a lot of questions ! Installing is simple , be on December , wipe factory default from recovery and fastboot update the name.zip .

Yes
hi, is it possible to have builds without gapps built in?
will this work on january update?
I don't want to do a full wipe. It would be nice to have a ROM like the one from November, which you can simply install in recovery. Too bad it probably won't be available any time soon.

This is exciting. How's the battery life? I'm not too impressed with the stock ROM battery performance. I unlocked my bootloader just waiting to hear some feedback before I try it.

Will update tonight .
Updated to January ........
I appreciate the work! I've downloaded your updated build, bootloader is unlocked & ready to flash,,, Just not sure how to flash it (I'm good at following directions). I really haven't done much flashing since the Galaxy S5 & S6, and that was with Odin. I'm guessing with the Pixel 7 it's done with some fastboot commands and pretty simple, just don't know the procedure.

Bootloader is already unlocked. So just one command "fastboot -w update name_of_rom.zip" ? Do I need to factory reset before I boot or anything?
There are flashing instructions on this, the command I supplied is wrong, my mistake Its a build for Panther and Cheetah, ive used his roms in the past and can vouch for them
[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][cheetah/panther] LineageOS 20.0 for the Pixel 7 Pro/7
LineageOS 20.0 for the Pixel 7 Pro (cheetah) and Pixel 7 (panther). Known issues: NOTE: This is an early-stage build, and may not be the most stable. It works fine for me as a daily driver on a Pixel 7 (panther), however. The status bar is...

*EDIT" Just tap power & up keys for half a second. I was long pressing them.
How do I boot into recovery from fastboot? I can select " Recovery mode" but it boots a dead android and under it says "no command" . I'm just doing a dry run, I don't feel like bricking my phone. I'm stuck on step "8." of the link you sent.
