Accessories Ringke Onyx for pixel 7 with "dual easy film" screen protector - Google Pixel 7

I bought this case and screen protector from their official site. if anybody is going to get it, pay attention to the screen protector installation instructions. the screen protector, if applied correctly, is hardly noticeable. its smooth for the touch but if you scratch it with four fingers it creates a gouge that disappear after a while (depends on how deep the scratch is). i don't like it as much as i like glass protectors, but its better than nothing since i got the impression that the glass protectors are not playing nice with the fingerprint sensor. other than that it is a solid case as far as i can tell. i had a cheap clear TPU case until i recieved this case. the TPU case is so tough and big that the device felt like those anti tank rugged phones. the ringke is much more elegant and refined on the edges, i like it and recommend it. i had ringke on my nexus 4 and it was and still holding on without disintegrating in the test of time.

This is the case I ordered and I'm looking forward to getting it tomorrow, didn't get it with a screen protector tho. Hopefully it's a good case either way

ringke make awesome case, I been using them for years...I love their loop hole design for lanyard...cant beat it for 14 bucks

I ran that screen protector for like 2 days and it started to peel, fp reader didn't work with it either

Absolutely loving the case! So much grip! It also looks premium so that's nice too

i think if you are using it without case or with case that has almost no lips, then you might peel the protector from the swiping actions. Mine is still pristine for almost 2 weeks, with a ringke case obviously

Case looks ok, however I like better if there is all around extra lifting for protecting the screen. I am using Spigen Liquid Air, nothing special it protects. Using on P6 as well and already smashed the phone on concrete several times when felt out from pocket during riding motorbikes). Unfortunately, Speck does not make Presidio Grip case for Pixel 7 that would be my no 1 choice.
Screen protection: Reminds me for L&K protectors, but biggest downside that will pill up from sides (depends on case) over time. There are similar non glass protectors using GEL to stick properly to screen, those will not pill up easily. Got on P6 like that, and still holds after a year usage.

Possibly the best case for this device, bought off your recommendation and loving it. Why other cases not covering the camera visor the same exact way?....

Just ordered the case based on the reviews here and in the webpage. I also ordered the camera tempered glass protector. Currently, I have the Spigen rugged armor case and Spigen glass screen protector

[REVIEW] Incipio Feather + Zagg invisibleSHIELD reviews

Incipio Feather
- Claims to be less than 1mm thick
- Made from Polycarbonate
- Soft touch finish
- Comes in 4 different colours, this one is Iridescent Blue/Green
The Verdict
It's awesome. Extremely thin and very lightweight, this case makes the phone feel much more solid in the hand. The soft touch texture also takes away the 'slippyness' of the original back cover, and best of all, it doesn't add any more bulk to the phone. All the controls are cut out, so unlike some of the gel/TPU skins, you get to press the naked button rather than pushing it through the case, which is very nice. It fits perfectly snug and doesn't rattle around. Definitely my favourite case for my nexus and I definitely recommend it if you can find it for a reasonable price like I did.
Price: $17.95 CAD, from BlueShop (a canadian online smartphone accessory store thingy: http://www.blueshop.ca/incipio-feather-case-for-samsung-nexus-s-teal/)
Zagg invisibleSHIELD
- Claims to be military grade screen protection against anything from nails to keys
- Lifetime limited warranty
- Applied with liquid solution and rubber squeegee
The Verdict
The installation wasn't too difficult, although getting the actual screen protector off the paper backing proved challenging. Getting the thing on the actual screen was very easy, all you had to do was spray the actual protector with this liquid solution provided and then slide it into place. This actually worked way better than I thought, and I was able to position it perfectly. Once on a dried, the texture took a little getting used to as your finger definitely doesn't slide as nice as the naked screen. However, the protection you get, imo, is worth the price of the weird texture. Plus, unlike other screen protectors I've tried on this phone, the curved glass at the bottom and top of the screen near the bezel actually sticks down nicely, unlike the other ones that didn't stick to the curve and collected dust. Overall I think its a good thing to have on your screen, but the price can only be justified by the warranty- which fortunately I haven't had to use yet.
Price: $14.99 USD from Zagg's website (http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php)

The case doesn't lift the Zagg at all?
I run a very similar set up on my NS4G save that I use the Best Skins Ever screen protector which seems to have a lot less "orange peel effect" (and the black Incipio Feather). My phone feels light and well protected. I especially love how the case keeps the screen (as well as the bezel) off of the tabletop surface when I put it face down.

Galaxy Note 2 - Wrapsol Review

Hey guys,
I've had my Mac protected with Wrapsol since i bought it in august. Had the film replaced once under warranty when i was replacing my hard drive. It's a great product, great warranty, and great customer service.
So on black Friday i Purchased my Note 2 as well as a Wrapsol for it. The second i tok the Note 2 ot of the box, i installed the wrapsol. Overall its great. I love it. I usually hate screen protectors. (Hate Zagg for yellowing and grip-ness, hate military shield for marks that are left with your nails, and hated the Moshi antiglare. All were on my S3).
This one i truly love. It was my second experience every with their "Dry application". (the mac is a wet application). Had zero bubbles in the front. Had 3 bubbles in the back that went away after a few hours. everything is protected. Your nails don't leave marks in it. and the film doesn't yellow over time. No marks left in it by the S-pen. No rainbow effect. Also IMO, Smooth as glass, not like the zagg shield. Also, no texture to it and no orange peel. They give you a life-time warranty. Even if you peeled it off yourself cause you installed it incorrectly.
The only thing i didn't like about it were the side protectors. They're a PITA to install, and the edges on them are annoying. so i took them off.
and best of all the film didn't lift when i installed my new Speck candyshell case. (awesome case, but gets scratched way to easily. )
Here are pictures:

Speck CandyShell after 20 hours of use. with a million scratches on it already.
Wow!..nice 1 there..really looks smooth & flawless..it also covers most of the screen, unlike most of sp out there..thabx for the review..& the case is really nice, xcept for the scratch-prone..

Currently have Spigen Ultra-Oleophobic installed. I'm actually quite happy with it because my installation was good, and it is resisting fingerprints very well. But your review of Wrapsol had me want to try it. It seems that Wrapsol is much thicker and would provide better protection for the Note 2's large screen. The Ultra-Oleophonic does scratch a bit with the S-Pen, but it seems that I can wipe the scratches away.
Anyway, what do you think? Would you recommend a switch to Wrapsol?

Completely agreed. Sp oleophonic does scratch a bit, not horrible but its there. I'm super careful where I put my phone, always in my front pocket by itself.
Please update this thread whether it produces scratches or not later.
How's this protector holding up? Anyone else have it on their Note2?

Did you get the ULTRA or the CLEAN version? I want to order it and am looking for one that will feel as close to the glass as possible.
I ordered the ultra last week off ebay for $16, I should get it by thursday, when I do, ill comment back with pictures

I've been beyond pleased with my SGP Oleophobic. The scratches have not been a problem. It would appear it's not really scratches because it can be wiped off and not permanent.

Have the JLG on mine and have been very happy, but ordered the Wrapsol protector as a back up since mine is getting a little scratched up.

I may just have to get one. The sound of "feels like glass" is really appealing.

Its actually quite a waste to buy such a case, it will provide no drop protection, and if you are just using it for improved grip and to avoid fingure prints, use a carbon skin with matte finish, or just buy a full body wet install screen protectors.

any suggestions for a carbon skin?

This type of case isn't for drop protection. That's a given. The full body protectors either don't cover the sides or tend to peel away after some time. I had a vinyl skin from dbrand on my M7 and loved it but the M8 skins aren't out yet and this case only costs $1.49 + $1.99 shipping.

almost same thing here
I just got mine today except the bottom is fully cover... well outside usb and headphone jack. I didn't buy this for drop protection its purely to keep the aluminum edges from dings and scratches as well as protect the slightly raised glass on each side of the phone. Mine is clear which I like as well you can still see the silver and HTC branding I like it.
be very careful with this case...had this for my M7 and a small drop onto my driveway and the phones edges were scuffed up really bad...
It looks like the official TPU case that comes for free with the international version.
Yeah like others said this is not protective case, i had the same for my HTc one m7 and when i dropped it i had a shock on the back. Be careful mate

Ringke slim vs Spigen Fit

Hi everyone, anyone whi tried both cases?
I have the google one in tpu (adopted) and I want to try another one.
Wich is the best? Look very similar.
I've ordered the spigen one this morning, then I saw the Ringke.
Maybe I could cancel the order and take the ringke,
if it is better.
I had the Spigen on a Nexus 5 for 2 years. The only issue I found was when I held the phone in one hand I rested it on my little finger, which after a while was a little uncomfortable due to the sharp bottom edge of the case.
I ordered one for my 5X but with the phone being that bit heavier? it was too uncomfortable, so I got a Ringke fusion which I'm really happy with.
The Ringke slim covers the whole bottom edge? so shouldn't have that particular problem
I was torn between these 2 cases as well...ultimately I went with the ringke because it covers the whole bezel as apposed to the spigen which does not cover the top and bottom. I do have the case however I won't have the phone until Monday to put it in. I may get a spigen latter on as they have a white option and ringke does not and I wanted my black 5x to have a white case with the black finger print scanner.

Same here - went for the Ringke for the all round protection which is missing from the Spigen.
I just got my Ringke Slim to replace my Spigen Thin Fit. The material feels exactly like the Spigen which is great. The Ringke feels slightly "slimmer", on the sides and on the back, the camera bump protection is still there but slightly less pronounced, you have to look real hard. I like this case a lot, and it wraps around the whole phone now. No more sore pinky finger I hope. If you are looking at both of these cases, I think the Ringke is a better all round choice.
Ringke Slim. No question. It's the perfect case, in my opinion. It has full protection, unlike the Spigen option, and the form fit/cut-outs are absolutely perfect.

(ignore my obnoxiously thick tempered glass screen protector. Replacing it with a thinner one soon.)

I just wish the Ringke had a space between the sensor and the camera and didn't have an open area then. Other than that, love it. The cover for the headphone jack was a bonus!

Really nice case. Looks nice, it is very slim and has a great greep.
The only thing I am concerned is its margins/edges around the screen. For example factory (transparent) case has edges at the corners, so If you put the phone face down, the screen is not touching the surface.
The edges of carbon fiber case are barely palpable, so if you lay the phone face down I think the chances are high that you will eventually end up getting some scratches depending on surface.
Is there any feedback about this case?
I have original xiaomi flip case for Mi 10 Ultra, the issue is, it does not protect Camera lens.
I have all 3. This case is thinner than factory included case. Camera bump will touch the surface if lay the phone down. But, I apply tempered glass lense protector. Fits perfectly well.
Unfortunately adding optical elements introduces more refraction and increases the chances of ghosting and flaring. Best not to do this... physically protect it with a raised guard instead.
Almost all phones already have built in lense protectors.
Interesting fact, real carbon fiber is an effective radio frequency EM shield; it behaves like solid metal.

Yeah, I would not do it either.
Eventually I had applied hydrogen protection to the screen and switched to carbon fiber case. I like it more than factory/transparent one.

Unfortunately there not a lot of case choices. My favorite case is the Zizo Bolt but no model for these phones.
All screens need some kind of physical protection or they will get scratched.
On an old S4+ with a failing display I tested how long it go before getting scratched, less then 6 months.
With protector 4+ years and no scratches.

I have been using a note 9, for 2 years, last year with no protection. No scratches so far. Well, I am veeery cautious But Gorilla Glass 5 is really good. My wife does not care about her phone that is also GG5, she drops it periodically on concrete floor, carries it with keys of all kinds. No scratches so far. It is really amazing. Basically this example made me remove my protection from my Note 9. Wwll, I paid tribute to Ultra by applying basic protection, but I think I will eventually remove it
^One grain of sand is all it takes.
Keys and coins aren't hard enough... sand is.
Gorilla glass's scratch resistance isn't much better the ordinary glass.
