[Help] My Mi5 can't recongize USB connection/charging

After unlocking bootloader(or maybe after flashing several roms.. i dont know exactly when this symptom began..), My Mi 5 can't recognize any USB connection.
It's weird because in fastboot mode all things are working properly. And restarting also makes phone recognize usb connection.
This makes me crazy. i have to restart or enter fastboot mode to recharge a phone or transfer files.
Is it a software problem or a hardware problem. I need a help..
i have similar problem. my phone not charging or connecting usb until i reboot it. it's weird.
did factory reset and other things but nothing worked.

I've tried everything, all the possible key combinations, it also has no indication of any led on, it just gets the screen all black and does nothing else, when I connect it to the USB port, QFIL recognizes it in the EDL 9008 mode, can anyone help me please?
Thank you in advance for your attention.

How can a broken port ( or do u say all ports?) recognize the phone with 9008, but is unable to flash?
They apparently work, but the copy of the files don't finish 100% in qfil app, I had Sahara error, but when I tried in the computer of my cousin, everything worked ok and I could make the installation of the stock room by qfil normally.

Xiaomi mi 8 se HARD BRICKED - No response when connecting to PC

I have been using the phone for almost two years, without any problem, with a ROM from xiaomi.eu.
One day the phone suddenly went off, and I couldn't turn it on again. When I plugged it into the PC it recognized it as QLoader HS-USB 9008. I tried to flash another ROM but could not go into fastboot mode.
I decided to open it and unplug the battery, in case it was still on and without a screen, and when I reassembled it, I was able to go into fastboot mode and flash. MiFlash never gave the termination notice, and since then the phone has not responded, the computer does not recognize it, nor does it react to anything (it no longer recognizes it as QLoader HS-USB 9008). I've tried an EDL cable to do deep flash, but it doesn't work either.
I have read that there are some test points to start EDL mode, but I don't know if it will work. Do you know if it would work for this case? I also haven't managed to find a good manual to do this.
Any other idea?
Thank you very in advance.

redmi4x not connecting to pc

hello :cyclops:,
i bricked my phone, so i want to restore it using fastboot mode; the thing is that the pc doesnt detect it (the phone is charging but not connected), so i cannot flash anything;
the phone is bricked, so i can only get it to enter fastboot mode, and i've tried different usb cables, ports and even different pcs;
my last option is changing the usb board, but i was looking for any other ideas before doing that... thanks in advance

dont worry, i end up solving it by trying even more cables

device not getting detected in both adb and fastboot.

I am stuck in a very weird situation, my device is not getting detected in both adb in recovery mode and fastboot. I have no ROM (No OS) installed at the moment.
I am booting to recovery and fastboot through hardware keys.
I have tried installing drivers from mi unlock tool and any other USB drivers I could find in top searches of "USB drivers".
I am sure the USB cable is not the issue as other xiaomi device (Redmi note 4) is getting detected.
The port also looks fine as I can see 'charging' in recovery mode.
What are my options here? is my device 'gone'? I have orange fox recovery so I have access to `shell` if that helps.

Hey man, I know this might sound dumb, but have tried using a different PC ??, I have been in a situation like this and trying using a different pc actually was successful
> Have you tried different PC
Yes. My first suspicion was USB3.0 Ports. So I tried a different PC as well. Unfortunately couldn't find a PC with USB 2.0 ports but yeah another PC didn't work as well (Note mine worked for past 4 years just fine)
