This version does not boot for me, I tried several times in different ways (with gapps, without gapps, with magisk, without magisk, etc.). 19.1 the same. Only 18.1 working fine

@tarkizm any solution?

I obviously can't tell anyone what they can or cannot do with their own time as developers but I personally still think it would have made more sense to just keep Lineage 18.1 alive for as long as Google pushes out updates for Android 11, because on that version everything actually worked well.

New build released
Updated to Android 13.0.0_r35 with March security patches.
Upstream updates and fixes.

em.....Bluetooth cannot turn on

The first version of 2022/12/13 that I tested have bugs like :
- No charging indicator if the power is off.
- The interface is constantly crashing.
- The web browser can't download.
- Some streaming videos become gray, and we must choose high resolution available to see the video normally.
- The interface of an Opera mini like one in this screenshot appears frequently then it will crash after 15 secound. This appears for all version of opera mini I have installed.
After installing the lineage rom, the camera doesn't work, the next day it works fine and I don't know the reason.
The version 13.0.0_r35 is more stable but something need to be fixed:
- The bleutooth still not working.
- No charging indicator if the power is off.
- The video playback haven't grai scale color but now we can't read any local video and local audio from the apps who use video & audio codec from the android system. These apps who doesn't work include mp3 reader, gallery apps, calling ringtone, notification rintone, screen recording, video camera recording and others apps like ES Explorer etc. So to watch videos I use mx players and poweramp to read mp3 because they use theirs codecs, and turn on the phone vibration for Incoming call.
The default web browser can't download.
Overwise, the version 13.0.0_r35 that I have tested for 3 weeks is more fluid than lineage 18 and 19. It's offered good interface and games rendering. The audio output is good and if we use the audio calibrator we will see the difference.
Waiting the stable version, I downgraded to lineage 18.1.
So that the lineage 18.1 does not overheat on my device, I made some changes:
- Install a new keyboard whose size around 15Mb.
- install a google webview size 'between 40Mb and 55Mb, install as system apps by using lucky patcher, root required.
- install an app launcher, because trebuchet consumes a lot of CPU resources, currently I use hyperion hundred five 5Mb found at apkmirror.
This will solve the problem of overheating. The interface become more speed and allow us to run lot of apps like Duolingo, Vidmate , snaptube etc.
Sorry for my bad English because it is not my first language.

this looks great, thanks

Did you follow the installation guide in TWRP 3.2.3 post? My recovery is based on 3.2.3 by squid2 with small modification. I guess the problem is related to the 3.2.3 recovery. Please ask in TWRP 3.2.3 post.
ROM is working fine but can not play mp3 music. I tested on Pulsar, google play music and native music player, on MX player worked.

How is the music not working? No sound or the app is killed?
Can you provide log? If not I have to find a mp3 file to try the issue.

I can't replicate the issue. I googled for a short mp3 http://www.largesound.com/ashborytour/sound/brobob.mp3
And it plays okay with default music app
I tried the short mp3 and it plays normally, You can try search for "OpenBSD 6.1 winter of 95" it is a free song, I can't post links, sorry . I have noticed that mp3 on SDcard gives me this error "java.lang.IllegalStateExeception: songs cannot play, the media format may not be supported". and if the song is on internal storage the time runs but no sound.
.MP3 file playback error in most MP3 players
I also have problems with .MP3 file playback with this ROM. The built-in equaliser is not working for me but I use viper4android and it's working fine when I stream music. VoLTE is not working.
Overall a great ROM and really appreciate your work. Finally we have a pie ROM for our Moto G Turbo Merlin.

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Z2 Play, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running treble TWRP recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
[*] Moto Camera does not work
[*] VoLTE and VoWIFI not working

- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Notes
No outgoing calls?
If you can send/receive messages, can receive calls, but cant make them, download the two files from -Here and replace them in system/priv-app. You will need root for this
GSIs
This CRDroid build ships with Project Treble compatibility (lite VNDK), meaning you can flash a GSI as System Image from TWRP. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker. A Format Data from TWRP is required after flashing a GSI in order to avoid problems.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
This device is a community-treble device, meaning other devs before us made it compatible with Project Treble (lite VNDK), using the oem partion as a vendor. GSIs still have some problems regarding cpu frequency scaling and camera. You have been warned.
Wanna help?
If you find a problem or a bug, please share a logcat with us, alongside an explanation of the problem and steps to reproduce. We won't accept bug reporting without a logcat. Collect logcat with:
Code:
adb logcat -b all > logcat.txt

Nice rom, thank you for you work!
I've encountered two problems though:
One problem is default usb mode - after setting it you cannot change mode after pluging into usb (option other then default are inactive).
Second problem - rom is a bit unstable. To be exact: when I wake the phone via active display (waving hand over the phone or moving the phone) sometimes screen turns on correctly, sometimes doesn't wake at all, and sometimes shows only the status bar and nothing else. Strange.
Fingerprint scanner cannot be configured in all these new-december roms? Configured for example to wake/sleep the phone, or volume setting etc, not just as a fingerprint scanner. Such possibility was in 8.1 AOSP some time ago, it was really awesome.

The usb issue we haven't been able to reproduce, so for now it is what it is.
On to your second point, that's all handled by crDroid, there's nothing from device side that interacts with how the screen is drawn when that happens, so i wouldn't know what to tell ya
Lastly, would you mind showing how that worked? I've never seen it in any of the 8.1 roms i used

Thank you. I will check that tonight. I remember that from earlier days now that you mentioned it. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Love this device.
It may be my old 2/16 GB device and it's low performance, but the YouTube app seems to not load videos, and when it does, it's taking an eternity, so I'm trying to understand if it's just my device, or anyone else has this issue. Connection is good btw, the app used to perform better on LOS 18.1

just curious if your YouTube videos play any better through a browser? That will help narrow things down.

Black loading screen, just like the app, tho, sometimes loads instantly, maybe like 1 out of 10 times

I'm wondering if it's because I've set my SD card as my internal storage, which is usually slow, and the app tries to buffer the video onto it, but I doubt it's actually because of it, just my thoughts

Could it be the network you're on?
You could try clearing browser's and app's cache, and maybe data too with app.

Try on another network, or set device back to defaults using original storage location?
Not sure what is happening there. I expected YouTube through the browser to play fine.

Does yours work alright tho? I'll test it all in the next updates, pretty sure I'm going to be factory resetting (wiping) my device anyways
Amazed to see this, never expected this device to be on the latest Android version at all.
Thanks for this, I'll flash and would let you know.

Yes. VERY stable as I load my apps back on! Just had to manually give network access to some gapps.

As I understand it, it will not work to flash because of the super section. And you need to download the flyme gapps application. Thanks for the hints. The firmware works very well.

can i use this for a.32 global?
why wifi does not works in my phone i tried every rom , same issue , please help me any body
TWRP 3.6.11 refuses to install this ROM on top of Indian A.32 with the message:
E3004: This package is for device: RMX3151; this device is spaced
Earlier it also complains with
Failed to unmount '/vendor' (device or resource busy)
The script \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script inside the archive should be fixed to adjust this check. BTW same check won't allow to install the ROM on RMX3286 (Narzo 50).
Anyway with the fixed script the installation finished successfully.
However you cannot do factory reset in TWRP right away - it complains about encryption, though the system is usable and you can do reset from it later.

I can confirm: WiFi and Bluetooth don't work with this ROM on my phone. Probably some mismatch in system files.
And I couldn't find where to activate the Accessibility Menu (apparently this package was cleaned, though it can be installed from Play Market) and there is no "Schedule power on & off" (thus the alarm clock can't start the phone if it is powered off)

Ok, so far, this release is stable and very snappy. No bluetooth and no cell service yet but everything works for the most part. Also tested Magisk and that works too. I wasn't able to get the battery percentage to show in the status bar. I also found Gapps for this rom, by BitGapps. Very minimal though. However, apps from the Play Store are not installing. Maybe it's just me or a rom issue, but I wasn't able to install anything from the PS as of yet.
Link for Android 13 Gapps (ARM), in case anyone wants to try.

Will it slow down with googles suit of apps?
Coming from lineage 17 I've wiped and factory reset clean install via TWRP 3.4.0-1. The device will boot up to setup screen but then reboots to recovery. Am I doing something wrong?

I wonder what makes you add support for newer and newer versions of Android?
Sports interest?)
Maybe there is an Android version that is the most successful (progressive). Maybe it's worth focusing on it to integrate the native SenseHome shell. Or is it impossible?
I have already switched to LineageOS and back to stock firmware M8 several times. Now version 19.1 is installed, but I'm thinking of going back to Sense again.
NFC does not work in version 19.1. Problems with calls. And Wi-Fi catches the signal worse than the original firmware.
Hi Tarkzim thanks for bringing Android 13 to my M8
Have installed the dec 11 build, runs fine but the keyboard hangs for about a second rather frequently. Have wiped system and cache before installing.
Posting this in the hope that someone finds it helpful. I tested this ROM on a m8_wlv, Hboot 3.19, OS 6.21.605
I can confirm the following:
Calls, SMS and Mobile data work
Phone isn't constantly warm like on the 12 ROM
Phone charges and drains normally
Camera, Wifi, Audio, Video and USB OTG work
GPS works
Multicast DNS (mDNS) address reolution works!
Bluetooth is broken
Occasional display glitches and 'Systemui has stopped' errors
Screenshots:
Have replaced the ROM keyboard with Swiftkey (version 7.1.4.19). That seems to work fine.
It feels the ROM is stable and good enough to start using on a daily basis, were it not for the permissive Selinux. Any chance of changing that into enforcing?
hey! do you think i can install this on Htc one m8 Eye?
Even with this brand new build, I get the dreaded "e1001 failed to update system image"
I flashed the `sense-firmware-img_0p6bimg.zip` firmware image, and reinstalled `twrp-3.7.0_9-0-m8.img`
Is there something else that's needed before I can actually install the latest lineageOS ROM?
I have tried out this ROM and it works better than the stable Android 12 ROM due to it being snappy as soon as I power it on, meanwhile with the 12, it would be very slow when powered on and I would have to wait a bit for the phone to be snappy.
The only issues with this ROM are of course the issues mentioned above such as Bluetooth being broken, Visual glitches and it freezing for a couple of seconds every time which is highly annoying and made me roll back to the 12 ROM.
But all in all, I can't wait for this ROM to be stable at some point! Thanks for the work that you are putting in @tarkzim !
How did you reflash to have the right partition?
The rom is having charging issues for me, my poor htc gets very hot
