Question Downgrade to A12 for Global model (3311) - Realme GT 2

Hello to all. I own the global model (3311) NOT the 3312, and I want to downgrade to A12. Through EDL tool I cant because it needs login credentials. Is there any other option as we also do not have a rollback package and the internal flash of the OFP firmware does not work

Did the sound quality in the recorded videos improved after the Android 13 update?

Unlocking Mi5 global

Hi, I have a mi5 global version running on miui 7
so far i have requested an unlock code and in theory i am now allowed to unlock.
The thing is, i cant, after connecting the phone to the PC and running the mi unlock exe it gets to 50% and then fails.
From what i have read the problem must/should be, that i am not currently running the chinese version.
so my question now is: how do i flash the chinese version if the phone is kinda locked in the global version?
model nr: mi 5
android version 6.0 MRA58K
MIUI version: MIUI Global 7.2.8.0.0 MAACNDB Stable
build number: MRA58K
thank you in advance. Best regards!:highfive:
Download the MIUI Global Beta version as a zip file from the MIUI site.
After that, put that file on the internal memory (download ROM directory is available for this).
Then start the Update app (or via the settings button Update).
Press the tool sign (right top) and choose the downloaded file.
It will probably tell you that this is an older version then you have running now, but just ignore that and start the upgrade.
This will work with the official MIUI versions, even with locked bootloader.
At least i did it this way

How to get rid of ****ty miui :(

Hello,
Today i got my brand new mi8 (from china).
Unluckily, it has some ****ty custom ROM with no actualisation feature. I can't even install offical global rom or unlock bootloader.
So I need to flash my device - and here's the question.
How can I flash my ****ty rom to a offical global rom? as this post says it's forbidden https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/development/firmware-global-china-stock-firmware-t3818194
So should I flash to a china rom, than unlock bootloader and than install official global/some xiaomi.eu? Any simple solution would be great.
Thanks for help
UPDATE : I found hidden update app and installed global miui 9.6.1.0(OEAMIFD), but I still have ads in MI browser, etc. Will reseting phone to the fabric settings work?

Yes, should be possible. Just download the Firmware package for your Device and flash it through the Mi Flash tool.
Before you flash though, make sure to download the Firmware according to your Device / Region. Also if you don't wanna lock the Bootloader, uncheck the "FLASH ALL AND LOCK" Option first.
IN is for Indian Devices
CN for Chinese
EEA for Europe
GLOBAL is basically "for the rest of the world"
Hope that helps

Can't downgrade from Android 10 beta to Android 9

Hello,
In order to unlock the bootloader and install a custom ROM, I need to downgrade from Android 10 beta to Android 9, since the latest beta doesn't work with the official ASUS unlock APK.
Problem is, when I try to flash the Android 9 image, I get the same error whether I try with adb or with the internal tool.
The message I get is 'This package is for "WW_Phone" devices. This is a "" '. Error status is 7.
My phone is neither unlocked nor rooted, so I don't get how it's not recognized.
Any help?

FYI, if you try to downgrade with the android P image found on the asus website, it won't work.
You have to download the image with file name starting with Q_P_UL...
we"re facing the same problem i can't downgrade my phone i forgot to unlock bootloader first. please help
You don't need to unlock the boooader for a simple downgrade. If it's still locked dowoad the image starting with Q_P... then put it in your phone's root folder.
can you please give me a download link for the Q_P_UL file tho

Question Xiaomi 11T Pro - Upgrading from Android 12 to Android 13 through Fastboot

Hello everyone,
I have a Xiaomi 11T Pro (Model number - 2107113SG, 8GB ram, 256GB rom, Snapdragon 888 ; european model).
Currently, the phone is running MIUI 13 (Android 12, 13.0.21.0.SKDEUXM with no updates available), but i want to flash MIUI 14 (Android 13, 14.0.5.0.TKDEUXM - already tried to use recovery ROM method but i got an error: can't verify update - can't install this stable ROM - i know 13.0.21.0.SKDEUXM has issues).
I understand the process of flashing (Installing ADB Drivers, enabling USB debugging, unlocking bootloader, booting phone to fastboot mode and then flashing firmware with either MiFlashtool or .bat script).
All of the data on the phone is backupped (i don't mind any data loss)
But i happen to have two big questions.
1: Will I be able to re-lock the bootloader after I flash the firmware? Firmware is official and it is also EEA version.
2: Will I be able to recieve OTA updates after I flash the firmware? Or the phone will recognise that I flashed the firmware and OTA updates will be blocked?
Thanks in advance.
You can flash any stock rom and version and re lock the bootloader on this device.
And the OTA will work.
