Question Adjust camera ISO & Shutter speed. Is it possible? - Google Pixel 7

After a brief search online, I have not found a method of adjusting the camera's ISO and shutter speed settings, so thought I would ask here. Has anyone found a way to make these adjustments? The best solution I could find are a couple of apps that claim they can control these settings, but in the end, it is a false claim. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Those are exactly the apps I was looking at. As others have pointed out, the controls are there for show only. They don't really control ISO or shutter speed. Another pointed out that some will control ISO or the shutter, but not both.

Camera Button [SOLVED]

I downloaded a 3rd party camera application and I love it. My question is how do I set that to be the default when I press the camera button. I looked in quick launch and didn’t see anything for the camera key. I don’t have ADB available until later tonight so if needed id prefer a terminal code. This would be a big help considering I have to keep an icon of it on my screen and go to it and click instead of just hitting a camera button!
Thanks in advance!

It would have to be a setting within the application itself. Which camera app are you using? Camera Zoom? I know snapphoto has an option for you to set it as a default camera

Changing app to launch when shaking?

Does anybody found a possibility to select an other camera application when shaking the phone by default. I know there are several apps out there which pretend to do so, but in reality they do not work well. So looking for a direct possibility.
this would be quite nice, I hope someone figures it out soon
Tasker can launch an app based on a shake.

Using Tasker and i am aware of this. But the idea is to change the default Moto-X behaviour to an other camera app.
But I think that is the best you can do at this point. I am reasonably certain that the Moto apps do what they do and nothing more; no room to get your fingers between the fan blades.
If you want it, be sure to ask for it using official channels.
I am afraid you are right. perhaps xposed is a solucion. Will see.

STOCK Gallery photo editing

I noticed that when coming from the S8 plus to the Note 8 the stadt gallery no longer allows precise adjustments in the gallery app. For example..
You can no longer finely-tuned a filter like in the gallery app on the S8 Plus. It's pretty much their filter the way they like it. Even in the vignette, you can't adjust it whatsoever.
Anyone notice this?

The phone's not even been officially released yet bro... give them a chance to update the apps :silly:
Not really an excuse when almost the entire world has had it since September 5th
I'm also noticing that the stock gallery no longer has the option for advanced photo editing options. I loved being able to adjust curves, tone, and other precise adjustments right in the stock app. Why would they take this away on the power user device? Anybody know of any impending updates?

If you go to the overflow button there's an option to open the image in 'Photo Editor Pro', the adjustments you mention are in the 'Advanced' section.

Found that the other day, but how do you make that the DEFAULT? This "update" is NOT an improvement. And I think I just confused the heck out of two Samsung agents this morning trying to explain what I wanted to do. If anyone has any good ideas, I'm all ears.
I've also posted in the Samsung Community forum, but you'll have to hunt for it, since I'm new to xdadevelopers and can't share the link here.

AH! Thanks! Seems odd that they'd bury it like this and I agree with the previous poster that I'd prefer this option by default as on the S8+.

Looks like your precise adjustments are also available in "Photo Editor Pro" mode.

The 3 dots at top right.

I can't find my raw photos

I have the rear camera set to Save RAW and JPEG files. I also have the camera app set to save to SD card. However, when I take a picture, I only get a JGP. I've looked in the DCIM subdirectories on both the SD card and Internal memory. I only see the JPGs on the SD card.
I've got to just be missing something stupid. Any ideas what that may be?
kbanes
Was about to ask the same question. Where's the raw???
did you switch your camera into Pro mode? I think it won't shoot RAW in Auto or burst mode. Otherwise you'll have 2 pictures next each other, with JPG and DNG extensions.

Shooting in PRO mode did the trick. Thanks.
So, where do I turn on "Pro" mode?

I don't know why that was so hard for me. But I appreciate your help.
Another awesome and useful (for me anyways) tip, when recording VIDEO with the flash on, you can tap centre of screen and drag the flash brightness adjustment up or down to adjust. I've been wanting this feature since my Note 4 and it finally exists.

You can also say "Open camera in Pro mode" with Bixby
Still, where is the RAW copy saved? I can't see it anyhere with "My Files" neither in gallery. Adobe Lightroom shows nothing if I only leave the "RAW" option checked. Yes, of course I have tried in Pro mode and the RAW saving is enabled.
LE : Problem solved. You can't use custom color tone. Only thing is, i didn't get the error when i switched into Pro mode.
Sorry, how can I turn custom color tone off.

This has been a really helpful discussion for me, pretty much a neubie, though only realised this when I hadn't tried swiping right in camera in over a year of use!
Could someone be kind enough to share how can I turn custom color tone off. I'm not exactly begging, well actually I am.

Sorry for the really late reply. I hope you found out by now.
If not, you just have to open the "Tone" tab which is in line with the other settings like ISO, exposure time etc and just reset the setting
hi guy, are you ok with a problem? Can you check saving raw file => switch to camera pro mode => reset filter to Standard mode => take picture (raw, jpg)

Yes you can... i think more then 8K. Because worh 40mp you can make 8K, woth 100mp you are making more?
How to make? Easy. Just download application Intervalometar, make settings how many photos, time, and etc... you will see it. Hope to see your timelapse soon
Yes, even more than, 12000*6750, point is, Intervalometar can use that 108MP camera or not, most of third app only 4000*3000, let me try now.

Intervalometar is a tool. And that app can use every camera app which you want. So that meen Samsung camera app can be use with 100MP.

Don't worry it is not hard at all. You have so much tutorials on YouTube.
You need just to configure:
1. How many photos or infinite,
2. How much time do you want or infinite,
3. How much time between the pictures you want it to be so that the picture again,
4. And at end locate a red circle wher is the camera shutter button
That's is all
