Redmi 4X - Galileo satellite navigation system support/enable ?

Its been 14 months now since I purchase Redmi 4X and until today the phone cant receive Galileo GPS signals as Xiaomi never enabled it (though Snapdragon 435 supports it). Guess it will never be enabled by Xiaomi on this phone (same as Quickcharge 3.0 & 5Ghz wifi - which is supported by Snapdragon 435 but not enabled by Xiaomi).
Anyway recently I found out that BQ Aquaris V phone uses Snapdragon 435 and has Galileo GPS enabled officialy. So does anyone know what files (configuration or other) that we can copy over to Redmi 4X to try and enable Galileo on our phone ?

Galileo on third part kernel or rom?
Does support any third part kernel or custom Oreo rom reception of Galileo satellites? Thank you for your answer.
I can confirm that CAT S61 can receive GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou GNSS systems. So maybe something can be pulled from this device.
To be precise, Galileo and GPS are different systems, so you actually cannot receive GPS signals from Galileo.
Galileo, Beidou, Glonass and GPS are all global navigation satellite systems (GNSS). GPS being the US one and Galileo the EU one.
While GPS has varying number of max 32 medium earth orbit satellites in six different orbital planes, the EU GALILEO system is far more sophisticated and offers, amongst other stuff, 1-metre precision and global search and rescue (SAR) functions- which means that a distress signal could be sent at any moment through the sattelites to search & rescue coordination centre that initates the rescue operation.
OT: This is the ONLY thread now, containing anything about CAT S61, although it is as revolutionary as htc in the beginning was: Considering all the tech (laser, air contents sensor, FLIR camera, etc) inside and the possibilities. This just sadly tells you, where xda is at right now. The phone was announced and showcased already in the beginning of 2018, released around 4th of july.
Update - these are the Xiaomi phones officially listed supporting the European Galileo satellites . Guess we can give up hope for Redmi 4X
Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 8
Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
In my opinion they are not going to enable Galileo satellite navigation system support. they less care about the users and moreover they do whatever they want.
There might be some rules and regulation that this device might not have pass(i am not defending them but saying possible reason)
This is not only feature they kept disabled but they have completely ignored so many requests of multicolored led lights of notifications and native Camera2API support despite hardware supports it.(thankfully we have custom ROMs)
There are requests about enabling Galileo satellite navigation system has been made on their forum but like it is in their genes they ignored it completely.
Hopefully all new and upcoming xiaomi devices should get Galileo satellite navigation system enabled.
Talking about Quick charge 3.0 not enabled i thing battery might be not that capable to withstand the quick charge and might lose its performance quicker than it supposed to be(this is just a my guess)
Does Redmi note 5 pro (Whyred) support Galileo ?
Whyred with MIUI 10 does see Galileo in GPSTest (search: my_xiaomi_redmi_note_5_global_can_see_the/) I could reproduce on my Redmi Note 5 global version.
As Redmi note 5 pro (Whyred) hardware is quite similar, I think Xiaomi could easily update Redmi Note 4x (Mido) to Oreo with VoWiFi, Galileo GPS and maybe even WLAN ac too if they only wanted to ?
However bootloader unlock times, EDL access, root etc. becomes more complicated as Xiaomi tries to follow Huawei and might give up on past USP's and customers ???

Check specs on gsmarena and decide yourself
read mediatek... end of games...
note10pro have snapdragon (someone say gcam ? )
The Note 11 Pro is a very minor upgrade to the 10 Pro, probably the only advantage is a slightly bigger battery and faster charging. I would also consider the Note 10 Pro's snapdragon processor to be a better option than a Mediatek one. So I would save yourself some money and go for the 10 Pro.

Obviously, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is better because it is newly released and it has good processor than Note 10 Pro. Check-in with the link below for processor comparison,

nope.. mediatek is "evil" imho...
The Redmi Note 11 Pro with it's Mediatek would probably give you better performance and longer battery life (6nm vs 8nm), but according to users here the Mediatek is not so well supported with custom roms/camera apps, I guess.
I personally would have bought the RN11 Pro if they had improved the camera a bit further. The lack of OIS (or at least decent EIS) with it's average performance just doesn't make me want to spend another 250-300€ yet.
I'm thinking to get the Note 10 Pro or Note 11 Pro, I've kept my last Xiaomi MiA1 for 4 years, so want something that will be supported kind of long term. I'm running a custom Rom on my MiA1 Pixel Experience and GCAM too. For that reason I think I am better going with the Note 10 Pro?
I do like the sharper looks of the Note 11 Pro though, and the 5G might be useful too?
Or is there something else worth waiting for that might come out soon? Budget is important to me.
Redmi note 10 pro. Have many development teams, custom rom. If note 11 pro have a Snapdragon version, i think i'll choose it. I like note 11 pro design but no more than note 10 pro custom rom
The 11 Pro Global version will have video recording capped at 1080p @30 FPS on all cameras. Maybe if someone can fix this after phone root i will definetly buy one, but not untill then.
Maybe the version with 120W charging (if it ever gets a Global version) will have more video options.
I am also undecided between the two...
Note 10 pro has a bigger battery and snapdragon.
On the other hand, the 11 pro 5g has also all frequencies for US.
I don't care much about 5G, but it seems the 11 pro supports way more frequencies.
P.S.
I see many are against mediatek... why?

Because Mediatek not sharing "source code" (I believe that the right terms, CMIIW) to public not like Snapdragon, that cause problems to develop new rom for update. And that condition apply for manufacturers and community

Oh.. I see. And I agree.
Is that a way to expand the Note 10 PRO frequencies?

I checked and it seems that both SWEET (10 pro) both PISSARRO (11 pro) source codes are released here: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/

Question By when can we expect Pixel Experience to be released for Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+?

How long does it usually take for Pixel Experience to be released for Redmi Note devices?
Since it's got a Mediatek processor, can it also impact here?
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+ released recently, and I'm looking to buy either this device or Pixel 6a.
I'm in need of getting a phone at the moment.
The only negative for me in the Redmi is the screen size, as long as I can switch MIUI to Pixel Experience. The camera also weighs me towards Pixel; I don't know how effective it'd be to have GCam on Redmi.

No or few development for Xiaomi with Media Tek processors.
Buy a Xiaomi a soc Qualcomm instead.
Or try GSI ROMS.
