Q: Why am I getting "error cannot read" while attempting to sideload the ROM?
Spoiler: Answer
Well, you should be using the latest platform-tools and have it added to PATH. A lot of unofficial drivers floating around on the internet install outdated adb/fastboot along with the drivers. Please refrain from installing these as well as minimal adb & fastboot; Use the official google driver and official platform-tools instead.
Alternatively you can prefix each adb/fastboot cmd with ./ while in the platform-tools folder via powershell or bash, etc.
For example:
./adb sideload ./rom.zip
This tells the shell "Hey, I want to execute this local file, not the one in PATH".
Q: I'm a linux user and my device is not being listed when I run fastboot devices. I'm using the latest platform-tools, what could be the reason for this?

No, we will not be releasing builds that format due to a handful of reasons; The main reason being that it is not able to be installed via OTA and is incompatible with our official devices infrastructure.

Reporting bugs and submitting logs:
In most cases, logs should be provided when reporting bugs. This can be done by enabling USB debugging in developer options of the device, connecting it to your PC and running one of the following cmds depending on the type of bug/issue while reproducing the bug/issue:
General system log
adb logcat > logcat.txt
Kernel log
adb shell su -c dmesg > dmesg.log
Please provided a detaied description of the bug/issue as well as link/upload the log you had taken.
There are exceptions to this as some issues are unable to be caught in logs. In this case, it is expected that users provide clear and accurate steps to reproduce the issue.
Getting involved in the development:
We've set everything up in such a way where all you need to do is install AOSP build dependencies, initialize a repo client, init the tiramisu-pixel branch of our manifest, sync the code and lunch your device (e.g lunch evolution_cheetah-userdebug); Roomservice will automatically sync all device specific dependencies for you to compile without error. There is no need to manually clone anything due to this and applies to Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7 & 7 Pro (oriole, raven, bluejay, panther & cheetah).
Device and ROM source changes can be submitted on github to the appropriate repositories by making pull requests via comparing forks. Please follow the google patch format for commits and triple check your changes by compile testing and verifying they're correct. Please retain proper authorship if you are not the author!

Dirty flash should work fine....but clean flash is recommended

So shall I flash the official recovery to get realme ui first?
I'm very confused, it took me much time to unlock the bootloader and get 3rd part recovery, and the evolution rom after all, it has been updated it from 2.2 to 4.1/4.3 smoothly, why shall I have to rollback to the official trash just for the 4.6/4.7 update? Why can't you devs just make a patch to fix it?

•Fixed all the audio related issues(with or without earphones, both)

To know how it's working, don't wanna do all the transition effort for a bugged rom
I have realme 5 pro RMX1971 with unlocked bootloader and root. Build is
RMX1971_11_C.07.
I downloaded Evolution X 4.7 Rom zip file and followed the instructions given in thread to flash zip file. But after flashing when I tried to reboot in system, it gave me a message on swipe screen that OS is not installed but still I swiped to boot in system. My device tried to boot a couple of time and ended up in fastboot again. Fortunately I had already made backup so I restored my backup.
What wrong I did? Please guide.

Fast charging is totally hardware based, there is nothing to do with roms...if u have the vooc charger and cable in good condition then it will fast charge always...it may show slow charging(rom bug) in lockscreen but actually its charging fast

U can use it as daily driver...some small bugs are there but it can be ignored, not major bugs...android 11 is in very early stage so don't expect fully stable rom for now

Worth a try I guess. Will flash tomorrow.
I really hope it doesn't have the same bugs / annoyances most other custom ROMs seem to have like FOD randomly not showing backlight at AOD or pressing apps on homescreen placed where the FOD normally is.. or Google Maps / Assistant voice commands not working. We'll see.

Dear AB thanks for this rom to OP8p also.Beeing a fan from early device I love your work always
I'm not able to find the double tap to wake toggle and when I enable the shapeshift os lockscreen clock the phone seems to spaz out. Everything else is working beautifully!
Edit:Found double tap to wake. But after unlocking the device my phone is still spazzing for a few seconds if I open the app drawer or pull down the status bar immediately.
The issue happens only when 120 hz is on
So far, just as I thought, Hey Google isn't working at all. You cannot turn on Voice Match nor re-learn the Voice Match profile. All I did was a full clean install from OOS 11.0.5.5 and installed Magisk as I need root, for the rest it's all stock.
After updating all apps from the Play Store (including the Google app) it now does show Voice Match and I am able to re-learn the voice model succesfully but it still does not revognize any voice commands. Exact same issue as all other AOSP ROM's have with the one exception being AICP.

Yup, it looks the same here, and I can set everything, but it will not respond to Hey Google or OK Google commands at all. It will when I manually open assistent first. But not just using Voice commands.
Also, same bug I always have with any AOSP ROM is also here, when you enable AOD and use fingerprint to unlock and HOLD your finger on the screen it will register it as a touch and will open stuff or show a long press menu or whatever. ALso have this on every AOSP ROM and i'm desperately trying to find out why and what it is i'm doing wrong lol..
None of these issues exist on OOS. Only on AOSP ROMS.. must be something with my specific phone model or whatever even tho it's just a totally normal EU unlocked OP8Pro.
EDIT: Flashed AICP newest Weekly with MindTheGapps GApps and it works out of the box just fine. Didn't even have to set up voice model. It just.. works.

First Time Install / Clean Flash from MIUI
Flash the linked boot, vendor_boot, and dtbo images by performing the following:
Code:
fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img
fastboot flash dtbo_ab dtbo.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot_ab vendor_boot.img
After finishing with that, get into recovery by pressing the power button and volume up button. Or run "fastboot reboot recovery"
After that, please perform a factory reset by following the option in the recovery.
Finally, you can sideload the ROM by selecting "Apply Update" (ADB) and run adb sideload /path/to/rom.zip.

No. Only AOSP camera is included.
Dirty flashed abt 2 hrs ago. No issues or bugs so far... All is working.

You're doing it wrong then. I have Magisk just fine.
After upgrade to A13, Can I downgrade back to A12 ? (For some reason) thank you.
Today I installed A13 EVOX. Wood bootloop, but everything is fine. WiFi, Bluetooth, sound, video, camera work properly. The most important thing is that there are no bugs, friezes, errors. Very smooth gestures and speed response system surprises. Thanks!
This is the best A13 at the moment. Complete customization .. Salute to the developer

Installed yesterday through OTA. First it went to bootloop then had to do a factory reset as expected. No problem, all fine no bugs as always. Quality update again! Love to see the fact that Joey still deliver updates despite of his mi 11's wifi chip ill again. That's the spirit! Thanks!
Another new build is available. Should be fine for dirty flashing for A13 users. Just a small update but with a few improvements such as a separate toggle for hiding the QS clock as well as fixing issues with missing apps from the Play store (such as Genshin Impact).

I would not advise using it, although I used to be a violator of instructions and even used twrp on a13 until yesterday I caught fastboot bootloop until I use tvrp until I support it for the new version

Hi, i got an error when i try to install this new update, recovery said that the package have a signature verification error and then abort the installation
