1 - Has anyone used this on google fi?
2 - Can I change my default sms app to google messages?
3 - Is the chinese ROM as restrictive as OPPO in not allowing you to auto start more than 5 apps (or allowing apps to autostart at all).

I set it to basic so google doesn't constantly listen and still work when pressing the mic icon.
Well after a restart of the phone this gets reverted to default and set to google. Not totally sure if this is the only trigger to get this to reset. Either way pretty sure my settings should not do this.
Reached out to google and Samsung but no reply after 3 days.

Details :
1) I already have a Pokemon GO from Google Play installed
2) I go to Settings -> Advanced -> Twin Apps -> Supported apps on this device -> Pokemon GO -> click the toggle button ON
3) A pop up saying that I should register a google account for this duplicated apps
4) I click on the three dot menu on the top right corner -> Accounts for duplicated apps -> Add Google account
5) Then I input the same primary google account I use on the main OS, and also one more another secondary account
6) I open the duplicated Pokemon GO (indicated by a double rectangle yellow on the bottom left of the app icon on the drawer)
7) I log in to the Pokemon GO with my primary google account. Everything is almost perfect, but there's a problem
8) There's a feature in Pokemon GO called Adventure Sync. In short, it helped player to complete a distance-walking-related-task, such as hatching eggs and etc
9) I've walked for 13 km, my Google Fit account says so (indicated by the displayed information), but, the Adventure Sync feature in duplicated Pokemon GO says the opposite, all my walking distance is not counted
10) I did a cross check with the original Pokemon GO app in the main OS. I walked several km more, and it's counted
11) I've checked the permission tab on the cloned Pokemon GO's app info, first it shows blank, but when I clicked it, all needed permissions are allowed. I cross check one of the feature, Camera, and it indeed works, the cloned Pokemon GO can access Camera
12) I re-check the Twin Apps menu on the Settings -> Accounts for duplicated apps -> click either my primary / secondary google account -> Sync data. Here I only found sync Contacts option
13) End of explanation. My biggest question :
a) How does Twin Apps in ROG Phone 3 works?
b) How do I get my cloned Pokemon Go's Adventure Sync feature to correctly get my walking distance registered in my google account?

During last days I tried to figure out how to run OK Google on my P40 Pro. I have to mention that my phone runs under EMUI10 (10.1.0.121 C432) + push notification fix (by Ilham and I ).
This is the result: it runs in background but the screen must be on. Also it works after restart.
1. Uninstall Google app (if it is already installed).
2. Set Play store to not auto-update the apps.
3. Unzip & Install (only) this version of Google app. It is untouched and original. Do not start after the install.
The newer version will not run in background.
4. In Settings\Apps\Apps find Google app and set:
a. Permissions = all allowed
b. Write system settings = Yes
5. In Settings\Apps\App launch find google app and set Manage manually ( Auto-launch+Secondary launch+Run in background = Active)
6. In Settings\Apps\Apps\ 3 dots\Special access\Battery optimization find Google app and set Not Allowed
7. In Settings\ search for assistant . Access Assistance & voice input\Assist app\Default assist app: select Google.
8. Restart the phone
9. In Settings\Google\ set you Assistant voice etc.
Do not update the Google app.
LE:. Android Auto will need the last version of Google app. Using the old one, AA will not work.

But I have a problem. When I go to settings / applications / default applications / opening links / application links and there are applications that I removed eg google duo, google drive , chrome. How to get rid of it? can you somehow remove them from there? I note that my phone does not have root.

If you don't have root, then how have you uninstalled them?
I guess you can only disable them in settings.

I am currently trying to get as many Pixel features as I can on my Pixel 7 (Germany).
ITs currently rooted with Pixelify installed - this activates Google Phone functions like Wait for me but DISABLES Google Photos stuff like magic eraser as well as the google assistant voice typing (greyed out and "Assistant isnt available" message)
Anyone knows a way to use basically all features simultaneously ? Can I somehow "force" all features to be enabled with another module ?
