Question [HELP] Stuck on "Installing security update..." - Google Pixel 7

Hi Everyone, Yesterday I manually checked for an update and found a 40.95MB update.
It started downloading normally but when it started to install its got stuck. Left this overnight and woke up to the same screen.
I tried rebooting , paused and resume , cleared cache via CCleaner but still the same .
What else can I do?

Try updating by downloading the latest Google Play Store and the Google Play Services apks. Once done, clear the cache and reboot. Had the same bug earlier and that did the trick for me

It just takes a long time . . .

@crz2uf By the time you did all that you could have simply manually flashed the OTA. Takes all of 10 minutes including downloading. Follow these instructions and ask questions if you get stuck.

[Solved] AA not working on Samsung Galaxy Note 8

I reinstall my phone a view day ago with the stock Samsung Rom without root.
I use the normal Android 8.0.0 for the Note 8 (Duos).
This is the message (in german):

I clear the cache of the play store, play-services and reinstall a view times Android Auto but every time the same.
I install the App on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Custome Rom and Root -> Works perfect!
Got it fixed.
Had to revoke and reassign all permissions.
Now it works. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Phone reboots into TWRP on software update

I purchased the phone through aliexpress, and have been trying to lock the bootloader so I can get fingerprint access working. I installed TWRP, and was unsuccessful in locking the bootloader through the guides in the forum.
I factory reset my phone, and when it came back up, it showed I had a software update, which I downloaded. There is also a pop up from Android System saying that my device is rooted (Probably from the aliexpress vendor). When i try to update the firmware, it reboots the phone and goes straight into TWRP recovery. Below is a screenshot of what I'm seeing. The picture is also uploaded on imgur dotcom/a/cHhsGvR
Can someone help? Thanks.

Hi.
I had that problem and managed it by downloading the apk and reinstalled it. After, there were no more messages.
I mean, downloaded hms core via browser. Maybe that was some glitch with this version after updating, who knows.
Thanks for the response, i also downloaded older version of HMS Core and installed it but i had the same problem again. But i resolved it by allowing the app to update it self automatically. After that seems that the problem is gone. All working normal. At least for a few days, we'll see how it will go.

Not normal..but did you add any new app or google account? Was this phone factory reset recently? Several reasons could be there...

Try clearing the data and cache of play services.

Maybe you could try installing the beta version of the app.
