Sorry I have no idea what to suggest, it will need someone with much more knowledge, as long as you tried the chinese flashboot rom (and not the recovery) I'm stuck sorry.

Bootloader was always unlocked, it came with a modified ROM in Portuguese, I tried to install another ROM and it didn't accept it, only the official ROM in China.

I've had the same problem. What I've done is go to the "more" settings in the config menu under "Wireless & networks", and then click on "Internet settings". That solved the problem for me!!!

Nope, although there's an option showing launchers in settings >apps > app defaults, there's no way to change launchers, newly installed launchers are not detected by the UI.

Best way to go will be install emui tools, and disable launcher from there.
That might solve things.
Never tried that because one of the main things for me buying a Huawei is it's ecosystem/ui.

ROOT Y TWRP 14.0.1.0(TKDMIXM) XIAOMI 11T PRO GLOBAL
Only for android version 13 - MIUI version 14.0.1.0 (TKDMIXM) GLOBAL tested and fully working
Steps to install ROOT:
1. Unlock bootloader (IMPORTANT)
2. Install Magisk-v25.2 apk on the phone.
3. Then open the platform-tools folder put the boot.img inside the folder, open cmd window inside the folder, put the phone in fastboot mode and execute the command fastboot flash boot boot.img
in this way they will obtain a temporary root to make it permanent follow step 4*
4. Open the Magisk Manager application, click on install, in Method click on direct installation (recommended) then we start, wait for it to install everything, and it will ask you to restart the phone.
Steps to install TWRP:

To my knowledge, there is not yet a TWRP supporting Android 13 but only an Android 12 (twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A12-vili-skkk.img), hence my question.

The video is about TWRP. 3.4.1b.0506 maybe this is an example for language change but on the OP and the Mediafire link, just TWRP.
To avoid confusion, the version of the TWRP should be indicated.
