[Q] Google voice search on Custom Rom

Hello and sorry for my English.
Your forum helps me a lot about my new phone Galaxy Note.
The Custom Rom is really beautiful, but here is my problem.
I use very often the voice search Google for French is the best.
Can add in a custom rom because it is often absent.
I already installed the 2.1.4 apk.
Everything works except in the SMS.
The microphone is off
thank you
New Google search and all update is installed.
Voice not works in SMS
I tested Rocket ROM V17 V18 V19
small up for me thanks
Help me please lol
It's (the Mic) not available on the keyboard?
the mic is available but disable in keyboard
On the desktop with the widget all works. "Send Message to xxxx, I arrived" works well
in the keyboard when i push in mic button, the voice search don't start.
The mic picture is blocked
Nobody use google voice search ?

I am having this same issue with several custom ROMs that I have installed. And I have done a full wipe prior to installing, and I have run the jBroid Kernel Cleaning Script, and still cannot get Voice Input to work on either the standard keyboard or Thumb Keyboard. I have it checked in Settings when I can - in some ROMs the checkbox is greyed out and I can't even check it.
I have been searching high and low for a fix for this. It worked fine on my stock KK9 ROM and on Antoniomistretta's fine KK9 custom ROM, and I had it working on Rocket ROM for a time. Now I can't get it activated and it's driving me crazy, because that is a feature I use multiple times every day in Messaging app.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

[Bug CM 10.1 KFFT] Microphone not working

I noticed that the microphone on the CM 10.1 by Hashcode is not working properly. It has a horribly sough so nobody in Skype understands me, it isn't only a problem with Skype because Apps like Google Voice Search also don't understood me. I can't post it in developer thread because i'm newbie and the androidhost bug ticker didn't open for me, so i'm not sure if somebody already report it.
It's great rom but unfortunately, I need a mic and front cam for work. is it possible to dualboot?

google talkback problem on motorola razr i

Hello, a while ago i noticed a problem with the google talkback app, which is used by our phone for example to read out loud the callers name or give us a voice feedback in th Endomondo app. The problem is that afer the last update which was a few months ago the voice from the app has completely disappeared and whichever voice and language i download and choose ther is only the silence when i try to listen to a smple, or in endomondo or when it should read the callers id.
When i unistalled the update the voice started working good and its possible to use the google talkback without a problem.
However, the last update brought polish language to the app, and without the update i cant enjoy it..
Does anyone else have the same issue as me and my mototola?
Perhaps somebody found a solution to this issue?
I wrote an email to google concernig this but i got silence in return...
hey, does nobody else have issues with google talkback like me?
please help and at least comment that for you its working fine...
Yeah... The update for TTS is not working on the RAZR i... you can read a couple of user comments on the play store written by Razr i users. Nobody seems to care about that. Maybe we have to contact google about the problem.
EDIT:
Just installed the latest update and its working again YIPPI!

can not make/recieve calls on LineageOS 14.1

hi,
I installed android 7.1.1 with lineageOS 14.1 on my htc one m7. I really enjoy using the OS it's much faster and better then the original htc software with the old android.
But since i installed it my microphone and speaker doesnt work during calls. Whatsappcalls and all other APPs (which uses the microphone and/or the Speakers) do work fine. My first idea was maybe there is something wrong with phoneAPP permission but it had authorizations for mic and speakers. I also already tryed other phone Apps but they do not work aswell.
i hope anybody of you can help me
regards MrDng
Did you install a soundmod? If so, check your build.prop for "persist.audio.fluence.voicerec". The value needs to be set on "false".

Yeah i had installed a soundmod but persist.audio.fluence.voicerec was set on false.
persist.audio.fluence.speaker=true
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true
persist.audio.fluence.voicerec=false
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
use.dedicated.device.for.voip=true
use.voice.path.for.pcm.voip=true
Anyways i dirtyflashed to get rid of the soundmod but the mic and speaker are still not working during calls:/ do you have any other ideas?
Might be silly so think about but I've got little info... Is your dialer set to standard in settings-->apps-->configure apps? Otherwhise I would suggest a clean flash without installing the soundmod and test the dialer.

Any fix for Google Assistant not working?

Hi! As I'm sure many of you know, Google Assistant has stopped working properly at some point (probably with EMUI 12 update).
This is a widespread issue from what I've read on multiple forums. Even if I activate the assistant manually instead of "Ok Google", it does not hear anything I say.
The thing is, if I open the Recorder application and start recording and then activate the assistant it works without any issues, which leads me to believe there is some kind of app/service that is blocking the Microphone when Recorder is not active.
I have tried uninstalling every new package the came with EMUI 12 using ADB Fastboot tool, as well as some older bloatware services like the Huawei App Gallery, etc., but it did not fix the issue.
Furthermore one of the Apps showing as having permanent access to the Microphone is MEETime, and even though I tried uninstalling it and it said it was successful, the app is still there.
Does anyone know exactly what causes this issue and how it might be fixed? (outside of flashing a totally new ROM which I don't exactly want to do right now)
TIA!

I was the same issue and finally fixed it.
It's true last Google assistant version don't work in EMUI 12 (P30 PRO).
My solution was to install a previous version of Google assistant. I installed an .APK version that worked fine. And I was satisfied with that solution but one day I pressed the update button in play store and the newest version is working fine in my Huawei.
No idea why it didn't work before ..
I hope this wasy solution can fix your problem
