Question Usb C headphones not working in phone calls - Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021)

Hi, have you experienced phone calls with usb C headphones?
It seems that they're ignored and calls happens only on speakers.
This happens also with other meeting applications such as Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Everything related to "telephone" audio stream is not sent through headphone.
Multimedia audio stream (YouTube, Spotify, etc..) works fine with usb headphone.
I tried with two different kind of headphones, that works fine on my OnePlus 6t and my Hp Windows 10 laptop.
On Galay tab 8 (android 13 at this moment) it doesn't work.
Does it may depend on headphones? (DAC, other..)
It is quite strange that such a recent model does not work out of the box with usb wired headphones..

[Q] Problem making calls through Aux Cable connected to Car Audio System

Been facing this problem for the last 1 year over several Rom-mods- currently on Alliance JB LSZ.
I use Aux cable to connect my note to the car stereo and play music through the car speakers.
I had also been using the Aux connection to make/take calls while driving- I could listen to the other side through car speakers and they through the phone mic
Some months back, may be after switching a Rom-mod (can't confirm though), I can listen the other party clearly through the car speakers but the other party cant listen my voice at all.
I have switched Aux-cables, Roms, etc. since then but to no avail. Would admit though that all my aux-cables have invariably been cheap ones
The stock headphone with mic is working fine - both the parties can her clearly during calls
I am at my wits end solving this problem...have trolled several forums and tried many witch-potions...to no avail!
Would be grateful if someone could help.
Thanks for your time...

[Q] Can you use bluetooth and the headphone jack at the same time on the Z3?

I'm considering pick up a Z3 Compact, and was wondering if anyone could tell me if you could listen to music via the headphone jack and have bluetooth connected for phone calls at the same time. I know that the Galaxy S3, for example, cannot do that, while HTC phones can.
Just so it's clear, this is what I'd like to do:
Headphone jack connected to car stereo's aux in for music, navigation audio, etc.
Bluetooth connected to car for hands free phone calls.
(My car is a few years old and can't do music over bluetooth.)
Can the Z3 do it?
Thanks!
Just tested with the sbh52 and Vizio sound bar auxiliary port.
Works just as you desire. When answering a call, the audio cuts from the headphone jack and routes to the Bluetooth device automatically. This occurs whether you answer from the phone or Bluetooth device. Upon hanging up, the music resumes playing and can be controlled with your Bluetooth device.

USB-C Headphones on the Note 8 does not answer calls

I havent found any info on this directly on any of the forums.. But anyone tried using USB-C headphones/buds with their Note 8? My Xiaomi USB-C (with NC) ones just rocked up and tried it on the Note 8. Works fine with music and NC is working.. But no sound for voice calls? Tried VOIP calls too and depending on the method of VOIP, it may or may not work. Just seems Call does not route it to the USB-C as such but Media does.
I have the same issue as you bchliu. I own a pair of JBL Reflect Aware C usb-c headphones and they too work great while playing music, but voice calls are played through the internal speaker.
I wonder what we can do to resolve this?

Could be the model of headphone you got. I know some companies that where doing USB-C headphone would only work with certain phones. And some features wouldn't work either. I doubt JBL would do that, but you never know. Google a lil bit might find answer.
That's what kept me away from USB-C headphones. Sticking to jack and bluetooth. But I think USB-C may be the future for is multiple uses.
Why USB C Audio and /or calls do not work.
Its all about Digital vs Analog.
A phone either...
1. Converts both audio and voice to analog.
2. Converts only audio.
3. Converts neither.
Most phones only either do 2 or 3.
Now apparently, you can use a dongle for audio if your phone falls under #3, but idk why they have usb c voice disabled on the phone itself. Apparently the note 10 and newer ones support it though. They fall under #1

Huawei P20pro - Bose headset not working

Hi,
My Bose headset connects normally via Bluetooth but doesn't play any sound. They are up to date according to the Bose app.
Anyone else having similar issues?
Dunno if it is due to Dolby Atmos, I cannot disable it.
Any help would he appreciated!
No, all fine here

All fine here as well with and without dolby atmos
Dolby doesn't work on Bluetooth if I remember it correctly
I've had a different issue. The Bose connect app seems to crash or lose its connection very often, meaning it takes a while to load often when I open it. Has anyone else found this?
Also, is there any easy way to toggle noise cancellation without going into the Bose app?
This device seems to be finicky with headsets.... I have the Libratone USB C headset, and while the phone will play music over it fine, it will not route calls to it. Very frustrating!
I found it impossible to pair the phone and Bose headphones until I'd updated the headphones over USB with the Bose Updater. May be worth a try

Question Sound from speaker when cables headphones are connected

When I have my cables headphones connected to the USB port via an adapter (typical usbC-c to jack converter), if I play music or YouTube sound can be heard only in headphones, while notifications can be heard also from main speakers. The same happens on my two other Xiaomi devices (a phone and a tablet).
