Question Media volume limit interferes with absolute Volume - Samsung Galaxy S23

When i connect to Car stereo via Bluetooth (what forces absolute volume) the phone shows Volume limit warning. I can not get past it until disconnected.
So i have to deactivate Volume limit beforehand.
Is that a known issue and is Samsung going to fix that?

Clear system cache.
Network reset.
Developer options>bluetooth, try some of those options

Thanks for the response.
Network reset had no effect.
Not sure how to clean system cache. I could clean cache on individual apps, tho i dont know which ones.
And I'm not familiar with Bluetooth Developer Options other than 'disable absolute volume' - what i don't want.

Off the boot menu, Samsung change access to it I think, Google it. Try that first.
Double check all sound and bt settings including hidden menus.
Try these and the Absolute Volume as well.
Play with it... Android's wuv attention.

Unless you did a major firmware upgrade, suspect malware, or think hidden user settings were altered* or corrupted I would avoid doing a factory reset as the issue is likely to reoccur. Instead try to find the root cause.
It's likely a settings issue. Try resetting the other device as well after the network reset so the whole mess reinitalizes.
Hack away at it... Samsung's have weird little glitches sometimes like with the spen bt. They resolve themselves for no apparent reason by just playing with them, repeatedly. Never to return.
*poorly written 3rd party apps can do this occasionally, and uninstalling them doesn't fix the issue. A factory reset will clear that if other means fail.
Spontaneous data partition corruption is rare; single event upset can effect any of the firmware or software. A inappropriate setting though is very common.

Thanks for the Background informations. I see where you are coming from and in that spirit I tried everything you mentioned. Including cache wipe from recovery mode, erase some suspicious apps, played with the Options. No success yet.
I guess i keep at it.

Try a hard reboot (simulates pulling the battery) too. Sometimes this clears glitches but normally shouldn't be needed.

Screen broke.

I pulled my nook out of my backpack and the screen is broke. Not the glass but some internal part, theres just lines and more lines. I was on the phone with barnes and noble and we trouble shooted and they're going to send me a new one. One problem it's rooted, how can I factory reset it? Even though the screen is broken it'll still turn on and can get into adb, any ideas?

ADB into the Nook.
Make file system read/write go to / and type
rm -r * (wipe it).
Are you on the NOOK or the NOOKcolor?
This sounds like a problem that occurs frequently with the original NOOK's eInk screens, for no apparent reason. It is just some glitch with the eInk technology that causes them to short out like that. If so, it is covered under warranty, just perform a factory reset using the power button.
If you are on the NOOKcolor, I haven't seen this issue, but you can still set it back to factory default in a similar manner utilizing the power button/volume down/ "n" button combo to force the reset.
You can find more in depth instructions on how to perform the reset on the interwebs.
Hope this helps.
Or use the first posters method. That should work too lol.

Nook color and I have clockwork recovery so I can't do that, if it possible that 8 failed boots would work?

Issues with displaying flash content in browser

I have started experiencing a strange issue when displaying certain flash elements in browser. As it is difficult to describe it I decided to post couple of screen shots:
This is from Speedtest.net - http://speedtest.net/mini.php - see the speed test applet

looks all garbled and distorded - almost nothing is readable on it
Or this one - plain old youtube:
Note how youtube position dot is just a square of random coloured dots, as well as most controls in the control bar at the bottom and the advertisement in the top left corner. Interestingly - the resolution switcher doesn't get garbled. Also - streamed content looks fine.
I tried removing Flash update from market, clearing cache from boot menu of the phone even - nothing - always like that. So I decided - no brainer - Motorola - let's do a hard reset and it should go away. So I do a hard reset and first thing I try - flash. Worked fine - I said "I knew it". Went through the whole configuration of my phone. At the end - I try flash again - and guess what - same issue again! So, I thought, it must be something I install. Without much hesitation I do another hard reset, and this time including erasing storage area - just to be 100% clean, I bypass all setups and everything and head straight to the browser. So here is what happens - upon first start of the browser and first using flash content - all is ok. But if I move to another page - things get garbled. I tried Dolphin HD and Maxthon browsers - absolutely the same effect there. After some more experiments (shot the whole day yesterday...) I figured, no need of hard reset - only if I clear data of the browser from the applications menu (any of them) - upon first use flash is fine. Today I decided to try Opera Mobile. And it does not experience this effect - flash looks fine all the time with it. And now I am totally confused.
I am pretty sure at the beginning there was no such issue (I have the phone for a bit over a month now). I guess it appeared in the last few days.
I am wondering if this could be a hardware issue. Other than this - phone seems to be functioning totally fine.
Anyone else seen something like that on their phone?

OK Google detection options grayed out (sometimes)

On every rom I've tried so far, the OK Google voice command sometimes works from the lock screen, sometimes not. When I go to check the settings for voice control, the"Always on" and "Personal results" are grayed out and obviously I can't use OK Google from the lock screen. But then sometime later the options are back and no longer grayed out. It works when it wants to and I have no control over it.
Is this a known bug? Or is there some custom rom setting that's interfering with voice detection? Very strange.
I thought it depended on whether the device was charging or not

No it doesn't. The Nexus 6 has the always listening feature like the Moto X. It's just weird that's been broken on 3 different roms.

Anyone have an issue where the 1st time you initiate the okay Google command that it brings up an unsuccessful web search? I have to initiate it a second time and it works. If I uninstall the Google search update everything works fine. Only when I update it do I run into this issue.

Actually yes, I have done that. But it's only a temporary fix. I don't see why, after wiping my device 3 times, and it still keeps happening. When I switch roms, I make sure to do a complete wipe from twrp (factory reset, then advanced and hand select wipes except internal storage, then wipe cache and dalvik before reboot into new rom) I don't understand why 3 different roms have the same issue.
At this point, I'm so happy with Candy rom that I can overlook this issue, but it's just nice if everything would work as intended.

I was having similar issue some days back. Please go to settings>Apps and check if there is any application installed at the end of list with no name. Uninstall that one and see if that fixes your problem.
An app u recently installed.. Or visited.. It happened to me.. I l
Cleaned uo history in browser and went through apps
Solved
In my case it was a Call Recorder that I downloaded yesterday. I didn't like it so I uninstalled it about an hour later. However, it seems to have left one program behind, called Phone Services. I uninstalled it today and at the beginning of the uninstall, I got an error message that warned phone services was needed by call recorder. All was well after I uninstalled phone services. Thanks for all the inputs. I appreciate them.
Good you could find the culprit

I have helped people with this before and had a few of these on my note. First, diagnostics.
1. Hold down your power button to bring up your power menu.
2. Hold down on the Power Off icon and it will prompt you to restart your phone in safe mode. Do so and see if the problem goes away.
3-A. If it persists, then you may need to go to your samsung internet browser and clear out all website data.
3-B if the problem stops. Then its a 3rd party app and I would need more information to help you track it down. PM me with your results or questions.

Hello Shadow Assassin, Please see my post #5 describing what I found. I sure do thank you for the steps you outlined above and will file them away. Good stuff.

camera can't focus through store "scan price app"

I upgrade my note9 (which worked flawless with the app) to a s20 fe.
My problem is that i use a app everyday when i do my grocery shopping.
Go to the store, open the app, scan the price of your items, leave the store,,, no waiting in line to pay.
The problem is that the camera that comes with s20 cannot focus when scanning the barcode on the item through the app.
to make it work i have to open the camera app, go into macro set it to 2.0x, go back to the store app, and scan my item.
I have to do that with every item.
Any idears ?
have you tried turning on ''tracking auto focus'' in main camera settings ?
yes its always on.
But i have not tried to turn it off.
Recheck all settings and permissions.
Try holding it further back.
Clear system cache.
Clear cam, app caches and data if needed.
Try reloading the app.

If you can't resolve the issue try using a similar app.
Clearly it's not focusing.
if your camera works fine at this normally same as mine, it's the app itself that perhaps needs an update. I was able to photograph my fingers OK @ about 8 or 9 inches from the phone. the only other variable is the app.

I was thinking the same. The camera works fine by itself, its when i use the app, its out of focus.
i guess its the app that needs a update.

no you shouldn't, he's asking if something the app might utilise could have been disabled.
go to the play store and click on the reviews and filter them for ''my device'' or ''this device / phone''.
if it's the app you shouldn't be the only one with this complaint. if you are the only one as blackhawk suggested it should be something on your particular phone.
I might download it myself if you give it's exact name, I had a quick look but nothing that matches your screen shot showed up.
