So i've got this old XT1064 that i ended up passing down to my brother, but he managed to brick it a while ago. A few days back my friend's phone got stolen, so i decided to try and fix this old brick that was sitting in my shelf. Its the Canadian version XT1064. It used to have a custom rom when it got bricked (no clue wich one, long ago.)
Anyways, the problem is; Its constantly in the booting animation. Its not rebooting over and over as it usually happens in a bootloop. The animation just never ends. It doesn't restart, doesn't start into system etc. The only way to get out of the booting animation or powering it off is by hard rebooting it (holding power for 10 secs.)
I've tried a number of stock roms of different versions for the XT1064 and absolutely nothing seems to fix it.. When i try flashing a rom with fastboot, everything shows up as "OKAY [ #.###s]", yet when i reboot it gets to the same animation as before..

I presume you cleared all the caches and user data and tried again.
Just installing ROM's won't clear caches, you need to use the mfastboot erase command to clear them.
I my case, I had a bootloop, which was not fixed by just flashing a stock ROM.
I had to erase all the caches etc as well
im facing a wierd issue when im flashing xs build on multirom device boots fine but on reboot data of all installed apps are automatically wipes so i decided to uninstall multirom an tried clean flash but the device stucks on oneplus logo pls help me my device a3003
is the animation actually going or is it frozen? If its going then let it go. Mine took almost half an hour when coming from Lineage.
It is frozen on one plus logo I waited for about 15 minutes and then I flashed freedom os.On freedom os it boots fine but considering the battery life on miui it is just insane pls help me to resolve this issue
I also tried flashing firmware and modem of oos 3.*.*

i am trying to flash back to MIUI (global official 8.2.2.0) and the miflash tool takes too long to flash (300 sec) and after the flashing was "successful" according to miflash the device wont boot up and stuck on mi logo with android at the bottom
tried it a few times and i was waiting on the mi logo for over 20 minutes
any help?

I do not know why, but with the official version I got this problem too. When I tried to move from LOS to MIUI, the official roms did not start, but can flash any rom of the Miui Globe Rom, this works without problems.

good evening everyone I have just recently confronted myself with a major problem I flashed a bad rom realizing that afterwards it was not the fashion is after having flashed it with twrp my screen is to find black nothing changes when I try to boot into fastboot or recovery someone would be how to unlock this phone? please i really need it
So i tried to downgrade my MIUI from 13.0.3.0 ID Global to 12.5.6.0 Global because it so lag on some games
Now i'm stuck on MIUI logo, idk if its really takes this long or a bootloop, i waited for almost 30 mins still stuck
should i keep waiting or flash again
I wiped my data from recovery and now its solved.
