Huawei p10 VTR L29 Hardbrick - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hello Seniors I updated my Huawei p10 VTR L29 to latest version EMUI 9.1 I unlocked the bootloader before updating it and use TWRP to flash VTR AL00 on it but showing failed to mount ODM/cust/system/product..... I switched to use Chimera tool when flashing using the Chimera during the user interaction to hold power + up and down button the phone bricked and never power up again my PC recognise it in fastboot test point is working too.
I searched for solution on XDA found one called p10 unbrick I downloaded the archive provided called p10 revive follow the procedures when I run commands to flash system, product,cust.... It's showing error length partition. Could it be that the EROFS Huawei introduced in EMUI 9.1 is stopping it from flashing?
please help.

TWRP working for VIE-L09C627B120 (Korean, LG U+)?

Hey guys! I'm trying to debrand my C627 P9 Plus by using the somboons's How to debrand Huawei Phone using the SRK Tool but I always get stuck when I try to install TWRP. Every time I try to boot into TWRP the phone is stuck at the "Your device is now booting..." screen. I've tried both the SRK Tool method and the manual (ABP) install TWRP method, but it's not working. Is the C627 model not rootable or am I doing it wrong?
you can try another trwp.. just you try many trwp
finale its work on marshmallow very well
I am having the same problem with EVA-L09 P9 C627 build. I tried with all of the twrp versions and none of them works too.

Can't flash stock firmware on Huawei P9

I messed up my firmware and it is now NRD90M Test-Keys. I downloaded the stock firmware and try to flash it using the power+volume up+volume down method with no luck. I hope someone can get me help. Thanks
Phone:Huawei P9 L19-C636
Firmware that i am installing: HUAWEI P9 Firmware (EVA-L19, Android 6.0, EMUI 4.1.1, C636B190, Asia)
first try to flash this here click from huawei, rolback package, im just guesing you tried to instal nuget, thats why you got wrong device name
Just to finish off--as Arnys said above, download and flash that rollback package and THEN flash your C636B190 firmware.

PRA-LA1 OEMINFO anyone? Can't update after rebranding to PRA-LX1

Hi guys. A while back I bricked my la1 and found a lx1 rescue box (which worked). However I would like to update it to emui 8 single sim for the la1 and can't because of my oeminfo being for lx1. I have the update.app for the new firmware and have installed honor 8 oeminfo (PRA-LA1) on my Huawei (PRA-LA1). Not sure what I should flash from the update.app as there are different img files from the usual recovery, boot, cust etc.

You can't update to a newer version of Android using the update.app... the device will refuse the package and it will fail ...you have to wait until the OTA update arrives.

[HELP][SOLVED] Bricked my P8 Lite 2017

i need help to unbrick my p8 lite 2017,
to start my phone was with "cust c555 pra-lx1 emui 5.0.1"
my initial idea was to debrand the phone, but all the guides I tried failed, always returning to the original ROM stock,
then i backup my oem info image, custom.bin and build.prop...
then I wanted to change the method, trying to install oreo emui 8.x, with this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
but result was failed, (I only have a doubt, when I was downloading the zip file hueuupdater via twrp I was doing it from the elite twrp and not from the twrp nochek oreo.....)
* last attempt was flashed via elite twrp an oem info file img (of a fw base nougat nobrand, corrected for my model pra-lx1)
after having opened the file oem, the problems have started, the phone does not go in fastboot mode, it does not go into e / or twrp recovery, it turns on and always restarts, I tried to flash a fw using the dload method but it does not work, I tried to reinstall the fw via erecovery using the wifi but does not start, always error .". Getting Package Info Failed"
now I really need help to restart the phone, someone is kind enough to help me or suggest a proper guide, to unbrick my phone?
thank you
i solved with correct oem info eu!!
Try Firmware finder for huawei + erecovery method , which is :
- download firmware finder on *another android phone* and search for exact phone model (ex : PRA-LA1C185)
- choose the very first firmware down the list
- Get an update thorugh dns >> Manually >> Register update
- After that , reboot your bricked phone into erecovery by ( power + volume*+*)
- press download recovery and last firmware
- wait till getting package
- by now should firmware start downloading
- let phone complete it's work and reboot
Hope that's work for you ?
