Hi guys, i'm trying to use the fingerprint scanner but it seems after the first time i enable it and use it, it disables itself when i lock the screen again and try to use it. So after the first time it works fine, but then when i lock and try to unlock again it asks me to "swipe to unlock" rather than use the fingerprint scanner. so ultimately it changes to swipe unlock after the first time using the fingerprint sensor upon activating it in settings....is this an issue? im a samsung noobie btw
Did you adjust the security lock time out under the lock screen settings after you enabled the fingerprint lock?

goddamn it....secured lock time was set to 30 minutes

Hi all,
After I upgrade to Nougat, it seems there is no option to disable lockscreen..
Even if I set up fingerprint unlock, there is still 2seconds of lockscreen before it comes to PIN unlock.
Any way how to disable it completly in Nougat?

hi to all, is there any mod that allows you not to immediately unlock the device with your face? in order to have the notification read first and then unlock with the swype, keeping the unlock with the face like on iphone X and huawei p20.
I'm also searching for a method to do this. It would be cool if we have a symbol on the lockscreen that we can push to start the face unlock or that unlocks the device after the face unlock.
How can I get rid or turn off the face unlock animations or change it? Is there any way?
Hi maybe it's a particularity of colors of but I can't unlock the phone with fingerprint when screen is off if i deactivate the option "show fingerprint icon ".
With my mi 11 , i was able to unlock via fingerprint on lock screen with screen off and no fingerprint icon.
