Sorry for not having an answer to Your question: Where did You download it? How is RAM/App experience in terms of 'how long are apps hold in RAM' until MIUI is closing them to free up RAM? Are there positive changes relating to that compared to MIUI 13/12? Anything else which is worth to mention about MIUI 14?

Sorry my English is not good.
I downloaded it on xiaomiui.net, this miui14 version is in development.
The multitasking experience is quite good, unlike MIUI 13 which is very annoying when multitasking is always lost.
I don't see much change compared to miui13

I guess we will have to make sure and kill all apps. S6 does not release RAM from apps on exit, according to Mr. Kelly and Samsung.
Go into developer options and scroll down to 'limit background processes' and change it from standard to 3 or 4. Loving this phone... but the battery life... terrible

You can tweak that setting like mentioned above, but that's useless. It may get held in ram, but it will get booted out if something else needs the ram, simply closing the app shouldn't move it out of ram, that will cause lots of resuming problems. The original HTC One suffered from that and people complained, now it holds on to it until something else needs it (using zero battery to do so) and some dumb reporter has people freaking out about it.

my suggestion is flash cm or lineage rom, it's clean and fast than original roms.
Looks legit

Very true
Well if it weren't for camera quality I would say the same. However: Autofocus is worse, Stabilization is worse, Low light scenes are worst. This is all due the fact that not the camera itself provides good pictures but a special made algorithm that is part of the TouchWiz framework does the magic. And until now nobody was able to port it, so it's unlikely that will ever happen.
But other than that LOS based ROMs like RR are far superior, that's true. But as I don't have any other camera, this is a KO criteria.

Best ROM for Mi 9T Pro With Most Features

Hi everyone,
As of now while I'm writing this, I'm on a Mi 9T Pro running on a custom ROM (Havos OS). The ROM is absolutely awesome and I've been using it for 2 years now.
But with my recent purchase of Mi True Wireless Earbuds 2, it seems there is an incompatibility which compromises the full features of my earbuds.
I cannot see how much battery is left for my case, left, and the right bud. It's just a single battery bar showing how much battery there is. I tried assistant Mi apps but it does not detect my earbuds as well, which I believe has something to do with the auto detection of Xiaomi ROMS of Xiaomi earbuds.
Can you guys suggest a good ROM aside from MIUI that has the same feature? You know, when you turn on the earbuds there's a popup on your phone with an animated icon of the earbuds asking you to pair with it and shows the charge of the case and buds. My current ROM doesn't have that. Thanks a bunch!

This is the only part I see, it's very restricting, I cannot even use the earbuds to its full capability.
I was hoping there is a custom ROM out there with this feature while at the same time with good performance and battery life.

Why don't you use the app that comes with the earbuds?

Question Sound Equalizer like Viper4Android

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if there is a sound equalizer/modifier like Viper4Android? (I couldn't get it to work, and nobody answers forum questions- so I assume it's a dead project?)
Do you use the system settings or something else?
Thanks!
You're 100% right about hard to get answers but I've always had better luck with JamesDSP(Flash thru Magisk)
Try poweramp equalizer. You can find it on playstore.

After spending the last day on this, I've gotten Viper4Android working on my new Pixel 5a running Android 12.

This thread has all the info about why Viper doesn't work out-of-the box on Android12 and how to fix it manually + a couple of magisk mods that someone made to automate the process instead of manually editing the selinux rules.
programminghoch10 (the dev of Lygisk) has a github repo that does all of that and some extras, both stock pixel AOSP and LineageOS - ViPER4AndroidRepackaged
I installed ViPER4AndroidRepackaged from storage in Magisk Manager Canary, rebooted, and that's it. Didn't have to fiddle with the viper driver or any other audio mods/settings. Awesome.

Question Battery usage and log reports??

Hello there.
I am still rather new to android but understand some things. For example, I have note 10 pro with Arrow OS installed on it. Wanted it for privacy (thanks xioami, had to give them all details to unlock bootloader, woops) and get rid of bloat.
I have noticed on my last charge that microg services seem to be running. Which seems odd to me as I have disabled it (from settings app), and don't have many apps which need it. (ones which do are disabled also)
So my question is, what could be cause for it using 33℅ battery?! And where can I get further logs to understand what's going on.
If I'm running 33℅ on service I don't use, then that could be extra day or 2 for me not charging.
Pictures for reference

Here's just showing its run as a background app.
Sorry for noob first question, with full ambiguity. Please be gentle
I have come to realise that I may have disabled it, but I have rebooted my phone a few times so it probably would re-enable.
Question still stands, can I get further logs to understand why its using 33%? Thanks
Try investigate further with betterbatterystats (grab it from xda or play store). Grant any permissions that requires (root isn't mandatory). In my old experience with microg, it might be caused by the cloud messaging service, try to increase the ping intervals to 10 minutes or greater. But your case might different.
