Global ROM with locked Bootloader on Chinese Varient k20 pro

Hi Android Enthusiastic's
I was totally impressed by Redmi k20 pro specs and price and I had brought it from China next day it was released in Chinese market, I had to deal with slot of Chinese bloatware and I was finally waiting for official global ROM to released and I unlocked bootloader and flashed global ROM and when I try to relock the bootloader it gets stuck in recovery mode
And works fine with unlocked bootloader
And later I came to know that Xiaomi had actually did this on purpose that no should do like this
I ask all you is there any workaround for this that I can have official global rom and locked Bootloader
Because unlocked bootloader can lead to hacking and loss of sensitive information and potential for virus attack
Since you have the chinese variant if the phone locking it's bootloader will limit the phone to ONLY being able to boot the Chinese ROM or one of these fake global ShopROMs which nobody should use (in my opinion).
I don't think it possible to flash the official global ROM and lock the bootloader. Maybe some day the Pro's will be able to convert a Redmi K20pro to a Mi 9T Pro with baseband and bootlock support but at the time of writing this is not possible.
Until then you have to choose between Chinese ROM with locked bootloader or any other ROM with unlocked one. I use Xiaomi.eu ROM with unlocked Bootloader and deem the data encryption safe enough.
A thief could boot TWRP, format data and have my phone but that is a risk I can take. In that case I might even still be able to lock the phone with my mi account if the thief used MIUI

Change ROM Xiaomi Mi 9 without unlocking bootloader

Good afternoon everyone, I recently acquired this terminal through a telephone company (Vodafone) and I came with a rom that they put something coated. My question is: if I want to install the stable global rom, do I need to unlock bootloader or can I do it through fastboot?
Unlock bootloader, or try to use MiFlash Pro Tool

Brick MI 9 fastboot bootloader, locked bootloader until This MIUI version can not installed in this device

Hi Guys, I experienced fastboot bootloop in my Mi 9. Since the product not officially release in my country, the Xiaomi center refuse to check and repair it. So i did googling and did some test from flashing global ROM to unlock bootloader and ended with This MIUI version could not installed in this device.. But it all not working. I couldn't get the COM connection to the device. Any suggestion?

Yes. According to Xiaomi, it is recommended to unlock the BOOTLOADER but if you don't want to, the device will not be damaged:
Steps:
Put the device in FastBoot mode
Install XiaoMi Tool on your PC and configure it ( https://www.xiaomitool.com/V2/latest )
Choose option "Device locked. I want to unlock it"
You choose which device is yours
And let the app guide you
