Question Video playback/frozen screen - Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021)

I'm running the 0418 gbN version of los19.
Is anyone elsev experiencing video playback issues?
I've found that on a lot of streaming services the video will pause on the initial frame, but the audio will continue. A reboot SOMETIMES fixes it, but not usually, which makes me think it's a fluke.
I experience the issue mostly with HBO max, Hulu, and Amazon prime video. I haven't experienced it much with Netflix or Disney.
Anyone else experience this, or have ideas as to why this is happening? Ways to fix it? Things I can do to diagnose the problem? Other questions that I can answer about this problem?
Thanks

This has already been discussed in a few different threads for this device. Not sure anyone else has more to add at this point

I was having the same issues with video playback and streaming, but have now lineage19 bvS 0418 installed and have not encountered any issues yet.

Is Megavideo laggy for anyone, or is it just me?

Hello. I recently installed Froyo and subsequently the Flash 10.1 beta on my N1. I was really looking forward to watching tv shows on megavideo, but it seems like just about all the videos I try have horrible audio sync problems. Also, there is a weird crackling sound in the audio. The video plays nice and smooth, its just the audio that lags. So, does anyone else have this issue? Any ideas for a fix? I'm thinking it might just be because flash isn't hardware accelerated yet, but most of the other video sites I try work just fine! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've had the same problems! Sometimes it lags, and sometimes it doesn't.. I'm actually quite upset with the performance of Flash, sometimes its perfect.. and other times its simply hell. I hope it is perfect when the final is released..
Yep that's been my experience as well. I've been pretty pleased about the game performance (except I wish Plants vs Zombies would work!!), but video has been hit or miss. I hope they fix it when they turn on the hardware acceleration. Being able to watch all the videos of the web on my phone has been a dream of mine for years...
there's a new application, which DOES NOT require flash player, that is capable of downloading and streaming any megavideo video.. you can find it here:

please, let me know your feedback!

Focus doesn't work correctly while recording a video

Hello,
I have a huge problem with my camera while recording a video.
The focus isn't working correctly, it just shakes really fast.
I didn't noticed it, because I rarely record movies, but today I've found this problem.
Here is an example:

Does anyone else have this problem?
Can this be fixed or is it a problem with my camera?
Thanks

Nexus 6 Video Playback Lag

Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well as any possible suggestions. I have noticed when watching videos I have recorded on my phone via ANY camera app produce fine videos. When I attempt to watch them, however, there is noticeable stuttering and lag where the video does not completely freeze at all but looks almost slightly jumpy. I have uploaded a few of the videos to YouTube and noticed when watching those there is no stuttering. I have not had the chance to try Playback via PC. Does anyone else notice this? Is the phone just lagging playing the natively recorded video files back? I'm only doing 1080p btw, not 4K. Thanks!

mine plays back my 4K recorded videos just fine(of course its not in 4K on the phone when watching)..
Bump! I have this same issue. I thought it was my video recording choppy, but now that I checked on another device I see it's a playback problem. I'm on 5.1.1 T-Mobile Motorola phone.
Anyone? I still have this problem, which is only playback related. If I can give MX player to play the videos things are fine, but somehow Photos eventually takes neck default control and its a pain in my ass!

LineageOS Snapchat, VLC battery drain

Hey I have a problem with Snapchat and VLC on the newest nighlty of LOS. They are causing weird wakelock (AudioDirectOut) that prevent phone going to sleep. To repliacte this issue there is a need to record video on Snapchat or play a video file in VLC. Only rebooting of the phone can fix this issue
@bgcngm can you have a look on that?
I can't post screenshot from BetterBatteryStatus

Video skipping while recording...

I seem to be experiencing skipping or juttering while panning when I'm recording video (60fps). It seems to be tied into the "Image Stabilization". It'll stop when I turn that off. But when it's on I can see jutters when I pan side to side in the display while I'm recording and in the playback.
Anyone else experience this? Any recommendations on how to fix this?
Thanks
I'm the only one? [emoji26]
My note 8 950F behaves normal
Thanks for checking
