please dont use any USB hubs...connect it to the USB port on the motherboard side....normally on the rear side for the Desk tops.....on the laptop all ports are directly connected normally...
secondly, what is your config? ROM?Kernel?please state your current configuration which can allow others to understand the situation.
Thanks
yeah i dont use usb hub i connect it directly i tried it on my laptop but its not working
my o2x dont say that usb debugging is connected it only charge
im on stock GB now 2.3.4 v20g
Don't want to hijack this thread, just got the same problem. (Not a complete noob here, rooted lots of different devices)
Bought a used 2x today. Froyo 2.2.2 german stock on it.
It just doesn't show the prompt that USB is connected
Tried:
- LG Mobile Driver from version 2.x.x up to 3.7.2
- on Win7 32 bit, Win7 64bit, Win XP 32 bit on various USB ports
- LG PC Suite obviously doesn't connect too
- checked/unchecked USB debugging, USB mass storage and all the obvious settings
- tried different cables
Would be really great if someone experienced could point us in the right direction.
EDIT:
After lots and lots of google I found out about a menu when dialing: 1809#*990#
With these options available:
CP Image Download
FET Disable
FET Enable
AP UART
CP UART
AP USB
CP USB
CP UART gave me at least a life sign once by saying that Windows wasn't able to recognize the device.
Is this issue really unsolvable?
Sorry for the bump, but I got some update.
when dialing the above mentioned 1809#*990# in the Port menu, switching from default AP USB to AP/CP UART gave me life signs.
After switching to AP UART I linked the Unknown device driver to lgusbdiag.inf located in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/LG United Mobile Driver.
Suddenly it started installing it and is now recognized as: LGE Platform Android USB Device.
Once disconnected I lose USB again, I'm able to recreate the first steps though even in default AP USB mode by now.
The only thing I need USB for is for flashing a custom recovery but the only thing I don't have is ADB somehow : / Clockwork telling me: device not found.
Any help on this one?
any idea guys about my problem?
Have you tried my method?
After manually installing drivers with CP UART on, switching back to default permanently enabled access with default AP USB settings as well.
i tried that but it only charge
theres a weird thing in my cp when i switch to cp uart my o2x says it charging even i dont connect it to my pc or charge it
Ap uart - p990 / p999
I have LG P999. rooted and cyanogen.
None of the special DTMF dialing # codes is not working (also code changed from 990 to 999) (i sow some other in another posts)
is anybody know a way to change to AP UART by software (with eclipse...)
or with a special cable?
i need to use AP UART - meaning to have a serial com in AP(app).
Thanks,
Tamir

Can somone help with droid bionic/straight talk?

I'm trying to get this bionic to work with my straight talk sim. Could anybody help?
Droid Bionic on Straight Talk
The way I did mine is after I used RadioComm v11.12.2 I used RSD Lite to flash back to Stock ROM and not it reads the Straight Talk SIM Cards I had to do it twice but in the settings it still says unknown network but it works fine I am running T-MO on Straight Talk line.
I had to do this twice:
First... make sure you have Moto drivers 5.4.0 (or newer)
installed on your PC. Install RadioComm (I used 11.12.2).
The first time you do this and use Radiocomm, you will be
prompted for other drivers to install, let them.
Boot Bionic, connect USB cable, put in PC MODE
Start RadioComm
select Main -> MA -> Common -> MDM 6x00 chipset base
select settings -> USB -> USB PST Driver
select the FTM Common1 tab
Try the buttons at top to read Version and MEID, if response
is GREEN, you can proceed. If RED, there is likely a driver
error that you need to resolve. (If drivers are correct,
you should see moto usb networking listed under NETWORK
Adapters in Windows Device Manager). Possible ways to fix
driver issue...
1. re-install Moto 5.4.0 drivers and reboot PC.
2. reboot phone (remove/replace battery if possible).
3. when connecting phone to PC, ensure its connected in PC MODE, not USB Mass Storage, Charge Only or other...
in the NVAccess drop down, select 1877 click read.
should show 07000000000000000.... change the first characters to... 8703E80400000200
click write
exit radiocomm
disconnect phone
power phone off, insert Non-VZW SIM, and power up.

IMEI and BaseBand Version Fix Works 100 %

Lately i've been watching people as well as myself screwing imei and not getting reception.
There are two cases possible
1> You screw only the IMEI
2>You screw the baseband version also ( which in some cases makes the mobile lag )
Lets start with fixing the baseband version nothing can be done with a simpler way you just have to flash the stock firmware again and the next time you boot the baseband version will appear.
Imei Fixing
Prerequisite
** Make sure you are using Stock rom and Locked Bootloader
1> Install PDA Net and CDC Drivers*
2> Install MauiMeta 3G Software*
3> Download MTK 6582 NVRAM Database* (The Chipset our phone is using )
After you are done doing all these things
1) Open MauiMeta App
2) Click on Action select open NVRAM DB, A popup will appear navigate to the database files downloaded and select the db files and select the files starting with APDB... and the next time BPLG...
3) Click on Option on App and select "Connect Smart Phone In Meta Mode "
4) Select USB COM as your host and click on Reconnect
5)After doing this switch off your phone and connect it if drivers are installed properly the phone will boot in meta mode and the window besides the USBCOM will be accessible click on IMEI Tool if NVRAM DB files are asked provide it
6) Write the IMEI from the Mobile Phones Box (Behind) in both the tabs and press Upload to flash
7) Restart Phone
Voilà IMEI Appears and you can now get Network Signal
AS THIS IS MY FIRST POST AND I HAVEN'T COMPLETED POSTING 10 TIMES IN OTHER THREADS I AM NOT ALLOWED TO SHARE LINKS FROM OTHER WEBSITE WHICH INCLUDE THE SOFTWARE DRIVERS AND NVRAM DATABASE FILE. YOU TOO CAN BE INTELLIGENT AND GOOGLE THEM.
PRESS THANKS IF HELPED!!

[GUIDE] VoLTE & VoWIFI for Xiaomi 10T/10T Pro 5G custom roms

Hi all,
I would like to write a short instruction about getting VoLTE and VoWIFI to work on a Xiaomi device. I'm using a Xiaomi 10T 5G with Evolution X, but it has mainly to do with the modem in your device, so it might work for other devices and ROMs as well. If you use a different ROM, the way DIAG mode is enabled might be different for you.
Code:
/*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices or any damage you made
* to your device. You have been warned
* Your are making changes to your modem's firmware. Make sure you
* have a backup!
*/
You have to enable VoLTE and VoWIFI in your device settings.
To check if it works:
- dial *#*#4636#*#*
- chose phone information
- chose in the menu IMS-servicestatus
You will have VoLTE and VoWIFI if it says registered and availabe.
If not, you can continue with the instructions below:
You will need a few things for this, like:
- Qualcomm USB Drivers
- QPST
- Root or another way to enable diag mode
- ADB
- Xiaomi firmware zip file
You can find many tutorials on XDA about these things, so I'm not going into detail about how to set this all up.
If you have the above installed and working:
Open a command prompt
Code:
adb shell
Code:
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
After you install QPST search in winodws for PDC (a yelllow and white icon) and open it.
Select 'Qualcomm HS-USB WWAN adapter'. (if this doesn't work, check if you've installed the Qualcomm USB Drivers correctly)
You'll now see a list of all modem configuration files. Check if your carrier is in the list. If so, right click on it, select SUB0 and SUB1, and click 'activate'. Check if VoLTE and VoWIFI works, if yes, reboot and check again.
If you do not see your carrier in the list, download the firmware for your device.
Extract the zip file
Navigate to \firmware-update\NON-HLOS.bin and extract this file
Navigate to \firmware-update\NON-HLOS\image\modem_pr\mcfg\configs\mcfg_sw\generic\ and search for the .mbn file for your carrier. Mine was in fw_apollo_miui_APOLLOGlobal_V14.0.1.0.SJDMIXM_2e94304468_12.0\firmware-update\NON-HLOS\image\modem_pr\mcfg\configs\mcfg_sw\generic\AF\Vodafone\Commercial\EG
Go back to PDC and chose 'load'
Select the .mbn file you've found above
PDC will reload the list and you'll now see the profile for your carrier.
Right click on it, select SUB0 and SUB1, and click 'activate'. Check if VoLTE and VoWIFI works, if yes, reboot and check again.
Now go back to adb and write
Code:
setprop sys.usb.config mtp,adb
to go back to default usb settings.
This should do the trick. You'll now have VoLTE and VoWIFI working.
It took me days to come down to this, with a lot of Google-Fu and very helpfull XDA topics. So I hope it might help you as well.
This has been tested for Vodafone Egypt, mbn for Vodafone EG has been attached (extracted from latest global firmware V14.0.1.0.SJDMIXM), just load and activate.
