General Dialer UI Changed automatically - Google Pixel 7

Dialer UI of P7 changed automatically without any update. I tried clearing Cache & Data (was thinking did something unwanted) still the same.

That is the new Dialer UI.

The Google dialer is an app that can get upgraded at any time. The camera app and service just got updated the other day too. No need for system update.

How to downgrade ? This New UI is boring to switch SIM...

You can either "Uninstall updates" in the App Info (be sure to un-check auto-update in Google Play Store or it'll automatically update it in the background again) or you can try APKMirror -- although, you might run into some issues since it is a stock system app and/or because it's downgrading it; if this is the case, most likely you'll just have to do the return to stock "uninstall updates" as mentioned before.

Android 7.0 Notification From Hell

I have a notification that will not go away. Tapping it doesn't help. Any ideas how to kill it?

That seems system update notification from Google and not from the hell.
If tapping does not help as you say, then go to settings.
On the bottom of the list - Tap on "About Phone" and find System update.

Goggle did a thing (a while ago) where they down graded the first 7.1 update back to 7.0. They have recently released a "fixed" 7.1. Your bitcoin might be due to this weirdness.
You might try going to developer options and looking for "automatic system updates" and turning it off then rebooting. If rebooting doesn't do it, I'd clear cache (not data) in recovery. 1st boot takes longer since the device will have to rebuild the apps cache (optimizing apps).

Anyone know what the heck this is?

As you can see I'm on 12 beta. I had to reset my phone yesterday due to a bootloop which has never happened on this phone but it is a beta version of Android so I wasn't worried. But I have never seen this before. Oh and when I restored my Google account it would not restore my phone settings it did restore everything else though like contacts and apps.

According to this it seems to be new Android 12 restrictions stopping apps running in the background from launching things in the foreground. I imagine it's Gboard trying to launch some sort of update as identified by the app name and the fact that it happens to me overnight.

Google Play Store app description missing

Hi on my Realme C11 2021, which is though a very good phone, I am seeing most of the times this 'about this app' section on different apps is missing except the first paragraph. It's a Go edition device so has most likely has an optimised play store as well. Google support team said to clear cache and app data and update which I did but it didn't solve the issue. New device minimal use I don't think I should factory reset. Anyway is it Play store bug or Realme issue or my individual issue? And what can I do? Thanks.

I need some feedback on this also because it seems to be a problem with me too. The only way to fix it is if I do a data wipe and start over again, but it happens again later

Are you facing the problem on Android Go edition or regular Android?

Question [Question] "Security" warning, stock global rom

What does this mean? It doesn't say anything else, just "Security". Should I lock my boot loader?

No, this is a tiny bug, just leave it or restart device it will go. This comes from security app after cleaning previous opened apps, or clean cash, install new apps, whatever you do related to security app. Does not mean a security issue. Just notification is stuck.
Don't worry about it

There was an app (security) update that fixed it. Have a look around

Camera bug/One UI 4.1

Soooo, the last few days I'm facing the weirdest bug. The camera suddenly stops working it says camera failed, or that I cannot use the camera in more than one application. The thing is, I've tried everything. The bug persists in safe mode, I've done a factory reset, I've tried downgrading to another version of Android 12(previous update) via Odin, and still the same. And then all of a sudden, it starts to work again, and then breaks a few minutes/hours later. Any suggestions?

Hello ninokiller1915
Go to device maintenance - click on memory - Run now.
when done, close all open applications (if any) and restart your phone. that should help.

Still doesn't work. I've tried literally everything I've known.
