Question Is anyone else experiencing issues with Google Assistant? - Realme GT 2

Up until the recent system update Google Assistant worked perfectly, but now it only works when the phone is unlocked. I've tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone and turning every setting off and back on but it doesn't work. Is there any fix?

Have you tried hiding every Google Stuff including Assistant in Magisk, deleting the cache etc. of them, can you try and see if that changes anything?
It's working fine on my rooted phone, all google stuff is denied in magisk though.

Update: I tried to first delete cache and data for all the google apps and restarting my phone, and now it just says that Ok Google is "currently unavailable for this device" even though I obviously used it just an hour ago. My phone isn't rooted so I can't try magisk. Anything else I can do besides factory reset?

Damn you could try removing your Google Account and readding it to the device and restart, if that doesn't work i don't have any ideas left.

[Q] Sync, app download fail post root.

So, I did the one-click root, which worked fantastically, and I downloaded Titanium Backup, froze the V-cast stuff and a few bits of bloatware.
I'm not sure what happened, but my phone is no longer downloading successfully from the marketplace, and sync has failed every time i've tried it.
I've tried defrosting every program I froze, rebooting the phone, and doing a battery pull, but it still keeps telling me that the network is unavailable and that I should call tech support whenever I try to sync, and the marketplace is still not downloading apps.
Opera works fine, the market itself has no problems showing me every app that's available, but when I try to download, it just hangs without downloading anything at all.
Any suggestions?
Did you try flashing the leaked ota? Try to get yourself as close to stock prior should you decide to try it.
Hadn't heard about an OTA, and don't know how to flash it if there were one. Would doing this correct the problem?
Further investigation shows that data connection is working fine, and I can update using google account. The only problem left is the failure of Android Marketplace to download any apps, regardless of connection type.
Try going in to Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications, find Market and then clear cache and clear data. Force Stop it then exit back to the homescreen and launch the Market app again.
That was what the guy at Motorola support tried, except he had me do a battery pull instead of a force stop. No luck.
Thanks for the suggestion, though. Any other ideas?
Yeah...and this one will sound stupid.
Sign in or out of Google Talk. I had an issue on my Droid where everything I downloaded was "unsuccessful". Don't remember where I saw it but it was a google support posting that said to try that.
I was signed in...signed out and everything worked fine after that.
The leaked OTA is in the development section if you want to try it.
Also, I know it sucks to lose everything but have you tried a factory reset?
Tried the google talk solution, no luck.
Will try the OTA flash; all it will take to get me virtually back to stock is to unfreeze everything, since that's pretty much the only thing i've done since I rooted the phone. Is that all I need to do prior to trying, or do I need to unroot or something?
Haven't tried a factory reset, but wouldn't be that huge a loss as long as I back up my contacts and texts.

Market/Play store error 101

Hi guys!
i know the 101 error is a common problem after flashing ics roms on galaxy nexus.
yesterday i flashed a new ics rom (teamhacksung build 16 to 17), which went smoot as always at first.
after signing in to my gmail account, it automatically downloaded some of my previously installed apps (even so i didn't want it to).
anyway, that was the last download from the market so far. every time i try to install an or update an app, it says "error downloading ..... error -101".
i tried the suggested sollutions, signing out and back in, clearing cache, remove update, even flashed back to build 16.
so far nothing helped.
weird thing which is probably related to the problem:
when i go to https://play.google.com/store/account i got 2 devices there, both sgs i9000. i just own one.
thanks for your help!
I too am getting these same problems. I am using slim ICS 2.8 on my Bell i9000
i somehow managed to fix it for me.
i'm not sure if this is reproducible, but:
- i cleared the cache and uninstalled the update of the market app
- i logged in to another googlemail account, then switched to this one in the market properties.
- after switching back to my original gmail account everything worked as intended
I too had this error after i updated my ROM to the latest version. I managed to fix it but i'm not sure if it would work for you
-Delete Google Account
-Clear play store cache
-Enter Google Play
-Sign in with the Google Account

Android error 101
Hey got some updates about error 101. I have a rooted xperia play. First my encounter with this error started after downloading Brothers in Arms. In consistently gave me the error whenever I download any apps more than 24 hours,
tried logging to another gmail account, clearing cache, changing 3g to wife but nothing works. Then I realized that I've froze and uninstalled some bloatwares/pre-installed apps on my xperia, I have titanium back up (free ver) for unistalling and system cleaner for freezing apps. So I restored everything (not resetting to factory default), reboot my phone, then tried to download apps again, and it went back to normal, I was able to download apps again.
The only question here is which of the pre-installed apps that I blocked that cause the 101 error... Hope this helps, I'll try to see which app it is.

I don't really think that is the case. Cause I have a fresh instal and it gave me this error. Of course, there may be a chance that a file for corrupted while flashing though. And its probably google talk or something. That's one of them that manages the play store from what I remember.

Help can't link to Google accounts

I have the I537 rooted 4.4.2 and last night I tried updating on google play but it would not download anything. I rebooted and still nothing. I cleared cache and data, rebooted tried again and nothing. At this point I asked my wife to try hers and she had no problem. Then I removed the google play app , rebooted and installed. I kept getting force close messages over and over. I wiped data and reset and I can not connect to any google services but my other phone can. However, my other phone won't allow me to connect to my work email. The only email app that works is the samsung "red @email" app.
Here's my questions. First can some one point me to the stock email or pull it from their S4 and email me or post it?
Second, I tried reinstalling 4.4.2 but I don't think I'm completely wiping as a few programs are obviously still there like "audio loudness zip". How can I wipe completely?
Something was severely messed up but I was able to use the full Odin package http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-active/general/odin-i537ucucne3-4-4-2-t2824151 (4.4.2) and flash via Odin. Sadly I lost data on my External SD card (photos) but found a great free program that restored lost photos and video.

[Q] I messed up my Google Play Services - need help

Hi there, I messed up a bit
Im on CM11 M11 Snapshot, Unlocked bootloader on my SP and I caused a problem with Google Play Services, I tried to integrate the updated APK into the system partition using Titanium Backup, it froze and couldn't finish the operation and now I cant seem to get onto the Play Store to update services. Ive tried clearing data/cache for Play Store, Services, and account manager, Ive tried removing my Google account and re-adding it (Didn't work at first, but now I'm signed in) and Ive tried removing those 3 apps and then re flashing the Gapps package but there is always an error with Google Play Services and it requires an update from Play Store but it cant connect to it because of the problem Ive created with Services.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I don't want to wipe my Data partition / do a factory reset as Ive spent the past week setting up the phone and getting all the apps back that I needed.
I have been in the same way, messed my gapps so bad that one day. The fix is easy. All you need to do is wipe the system, and then flash the gapps again. No need to wipe data.

Wait? What? Won't kill boot/bootloader/rom doing that?
However I've the same problem: play services (all google apps, drive, maps, youtube) stopped to work. They start but can't connect to google account.
So I tried clearing its data and cache, but nothing. I removed the account and now I can't create it anymore: it says there's a problem communicating with google servers.
Install apps from playstore site, gives a 906 error.

No, it wont kill the ROM. But beware, you will need to reflash the ROM zip and gapps.
I didn't mention it in the quoted post, but that guy understood me lel
Well, I was pretty sure. XD
I'll backup, install rom, gapps, reboot, rom update, reboot
I'm really start to hate the play services ahahah

Problem with no-wipe

Since I got my N6, I've upgraded from 5.0 to 5.01 to 5.1 version D, to 5.1 version E. Each time I used the great Nexus Root Toolkit with no-wipe mode, and each time it worked just fine except for the upgrade from D to E. That seemed to work OK, but it broke my gmail sync and notifications, and somehow disconnected my phone from Google Play. I couldn't install any new apps from the play store.
I tried lots of different things, including deleting data and cache, deleting and reinstalling my google account, and so on, but nothing worked. I finally had to to a factory reset and reinstall everything. That seems to have corrected all the problems. I don't think this is a NRT issued, I think it was caused by not wiping when I upgraded each time.
Anyway, problem solved, and I wanted to share the experience in case it might help anybody else.
