Question No OS installed. Can't go into fastboot or recovery. I don't know what to do. - POCO M4 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11S (Opal), 11T (India)

So I was messing around with my newly bought M4 Pro 5G and I wanted to root it. I started the process of unlocking the phone(bootloader) a week ago and just yesterday I was actually able to do it. Then I installed TWRP to get a backup of the system but I guess that during that process I managed to wipe the whole system. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop that only shows the POCO logo and nothing else. Pressing VOL+/VOL- and Power button don't do anything at all and I think I've run out of options. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to install OS or TWRP back because for some reason it doesnt want to go into neither Fastboot or TWRP(I think I didnt install it properly because I had to use console commands almost everytime I wanted to launch it). Title sums up the problem.

Try to flash boot.img file of you stock ROM. It can help to exit bootloop. Or if this does not work i recommend you to reflash full rom once again from MI FLASH TOOL.
Hope it will help you.

Doesn't the phone have to be on fastboot to flash? I'm stuck in the POCO logo by the way. I haven't tried the "reflash full rom", is there anything else I might need besides the ROM and MI FLASH TOOL?

OnePlus nightmare

Gosh where do I start?
So I installed a custom ROM and everything was working perfectly fine it was a ROM from here but I noticed a connection problem to 4G and Three UK advised me to restore back to stock as it was working then I was pretty sure it wasn't the ROM but I checked anyways or was going to ..
The OnePlus website didn't allow me to download the Oneaplus 3T recovery image so I had to hunt online for it and once I flashed it into recovery I stupidly re-locked the device so nothing could be flashed to it the problem was that the recovery image was for a OnePlus 3 and not a OnePlus 3T recovery image... You can see where I'm at now so literally I thought I was screwed somehow the Qualcomm recovery tool bypassed the OEM lock not sure how but it did and was able to write onto it eben though the device was locked it was able to restore it to a stock lollipop ROM ... I then re unlocked the bootloader...
Im trying to install TWRP but it doesn't fully install it shows up when I force boot in fastboot but once I flash a image it will launch the ROM but TWRP won't launch back up so I keep having to go into fastboot and re flash and fastboot boot command it to get into it any ideas on how to install it properly it just shows a LED light on the notifications light whenever I try and access it, it isn't there unless I reflash and manually boot any idea how to solve it
Try this

That's what I did to solve it been bricked but that won't help me with the recovery flash ..

Failed to install global rom via mi flashing tool, now phone stuck on fast boot.

Solved !!!
I was able to flash global miui 9.5.
Hi ,
So after finally the bootloader is unlocked I tried to flash the global rom via mi flash tool.
Update failed and an error message is update crc list failed !
I tried flashing back the chinse rom and I get the same error.
I can boot the device to recovery mode, but its mi recovery 3.0, I have 3 options:
1.wipe data
2. boot to system
3. connect via pc suite
tried with pc suite but it says my device isn't supported.
The computer recognizes the device via MiFlash tool but in adb via cmd when I type adb devices I get blank row and its unable to find the device.
how can I make my phone usable again please?
I have tried many things I found on google but nothing worked.
Thank you all

yes the phone is in fastboot mode, and I cant back to normal mode for regular use.
I tried to unlock again like you said it the program said the device is already unlocked.
Have you tried the first option, wipe data?
Don't panick, since you have fastboot mode it's not bricked. Let's start by booting into TWRP.
Download TWRP and put it in the same directory with your FASTBOOT.exe file.
Open a windows dos prompt and get to the same directory as your FASTBOOT file.
Reboot your phone into FASTBOOT mode.
in your DOS prompt type "Fastboot boot yourrecoveryfilename.img" (change the yourrecoveryfilename.img to the TWRP recovery image file you downloaded)
your phone should reboot into TWRP if there wasn't an error. TWRP won't be permanent (if you reboot out of TWRP it won't retain it), but will allow you to flash ROM.
I've only ever flashed all my ROMs through TWRP, never used anything else since i unlocked the phone.
Let me know how this goes.
fastboot .exe file, where can i get it

Hello all.
Big screw up, I think. So I've had my MI 8 for a while now, no issues, until today I decided to install official lineage on it. The bootloader was unlocked. I flashed TWRP, but every time I rebooted the phone, it would go back to stock recovery, not TWRP. So here the issue started:
- Via Mi flash tool, I reflashed global MIUI 10 back to stock. I didn't realize I had relocked the bootloader...
- I tried reflashing TWRP without realizing I had relocked the bootloader.
- Thinking that the TWRP flash was done incorrectly again, I simply wanted to go back to stock, and attempted to use the mi flash tool to reflash, once again, the global stock MIUI 10. the flash tool said it was a success. (I still didn't realize I was on a locked bootloader)
- I am now on a bootloop. I can't get past the stock recovery screen, but I can go into fastboot. The recovery screen has a warning that the ROM cannot be used on the phone.
- I tried re unlocking the bootloader with the unlock tool, but because my Mi account credentials are not input on the phone (the phone was wiped clean), I cannot re unlock it.
What can I do? How can I get out of the bootloop, and hopefully re unlock and flash global rom clean again?

I finally got around fixing this. It turns out my phone was China, with Global ROM. So I did an EDL test point method and paid someone with an authorized account to access my laptop remotely to Flash the latest China ROM. I waited the required period for bootloader unlocking, and it's back alive!
I'm running official lineage 16, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm Using it as a daily driver instead of my all stock pixel 2 XL. No issues.

That's great news! It sucks that you were tricked into thinking your that phone is a global version. But at least you able to get things permanently sorted.

Maybe I bricked my A2

Hi, after the installation of official TWRP my phone was stuck into the loading bar. I tried recover it following a guide but now when I turn it on it asks to perform a factory reset, maybe I didn't use the right rom version, I don't know. I think that this issue is fixable but I don'w know how. I can go into fastboot and recovery. I also unlocked the phone. Please help me, thanks.
On what version of ROM were you?
Download stock ROM of your version, extract boot.img from images folder, and flash boot.img via fastboot.
Did you flash twrp to the active partition? to the inactive partition? Do you know?
If you can get to fastboot, it's not bricked. I'd suggest, as you indicate you have the option to reset to factory, go ahead and do that. Trying to fix it when yer not sure what you've done so far, **may** end up with it actually being bricked.

Cant flash TWRP

Trying to flash TWRp after unlocking bootloader. First time i tried it, said successful but booted to MIUI recovery
2nd time i tried said again successful, booted to TWRP, formatted data.
Phone then wouldnt reboot to TWRP. Instead it going straight to fastboot. I keep trying to flash again, every time saying successful, then it just boots to fastbooot, not recovery. Any ideas, phones dead at the minute

The best way to recover the phone in your situation is to fastboot flash MIUI.
Get the latest MIUI fastboot ROM for your phone from here
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/raphael/
Install it using this guide from the official MIUI forums
https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2
If you see a blank page on a mobile browser, set it to view in desktop mode, for this page.
Make sure in step 5 you change the option at the bottom of the Mi Flash Tool to 'clean all' before hitting the Flash button.
MIUI will restore stock recovery when it reboots, so you need to do something to fix this. Flashing Magisk or a custom ROM will automatically preserve TWRP.
If you plan to keep MIUI and do not want Magisk, then you need to flash the vbmeta patcher from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k2...icial-twrp-xiaomi-redmi-t3944363/post79823568
You need to flash TWRP, then immediately boot into TWRP.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery <path to twrp>
fastboot oem reboot-recovery
At this point you need to flash something in order to preserve TWRP (either a new custom ROM, Magisk, or the vbmeta patcher)
Cheers. You know this is all familiar. Pretty sure i had the same trouble 3 years ago with my mi mix 2
Anyway, lots of hiccups on the way along with this solution. Got to the point now where it says its flashing but it never stops.
EDIT: Bit more research, shortened the path names. Got an error. Commented out device name, got a different error. Switched to USB 2.0 port an FINALLy im back up and running.
Thank you so much for the help.

Proper/Working Root tutorial?????

Hello.
I'm looking for a proper tutorial for my MI9TPro coz I didn't find one that works for my phone.
Each time I try to root my MI9T pro it finish stuck on fasboot mode.
I open the boootloder (2mn with MIunlock) then I can send twrp (twrp-3.4.0-10-raphael-mauronofrioI ) as well and magisk 20.4 too. But even I format data each time I install the rom it is impossible to return to recovery and the phone is stuck on fasbooot, nothing works so I have to use miflash and return to start. Root works with a rom but when I want to go to the recovery it is stuck on fasboot. I tried many files, vbmeta, etc, but nothing works.
If someone can help me solve this problem I could finally use my phone. Thank you for your help
