Hello everyone, just a quick FIY, Fahrbot Mobile have just released Screenshot ER for Honeycomb.
As far as i know, this is the only app capable of taking screen captures on 3+.
Its a free XDA exclusive, available to all members.

Universally like our app, no, its not possible without root.
Some manufacturers have used the same general backend for their own screenshot functionality, including samsung. But generally it all depends on the quality of the adb implementation.
We use our own method to read the video buffer, but its a brute force solution (which is why we need root).
Guys, im about to roll out a big update for SER with nice new features. Please be ready to test it at your leasure!

If you ever release a solution that doesn't require me to tamper with my device and possibly void the warranty let me know. I wish the market filtered root only apps out.

In any case - you can unvoid your warranty by unrooting at any time. I would have thought you would know this, having registered in 2009.
Also, there are no non-root screenshot apps.

I only said possibly, but I was sure there were one or two apps out there at least for other devices that didnr need root. It doesn't break my heart, I use ddms for screenshots thank you anyways for your hard work.

For some reason Google suspended SER, so I've made a new package name and launched it again. There is no difference, apart from some bugfixes since the last version.

ATM its all up to Google. I will send anyone who has their original order number SER 2.
As you may or may not know, theres almost no direct support for the android market, so i cant say with certainty that they will eveentually restore the original SER.
It was probably one of our competitors flagging our apps. Bastards.

Hello mate, I am interested. Let me know what I need to do.
You will need to download the app and test it extensively by calling yourself and sending yourself SMS (may cost you money).
You can then use the "send debug data" menu item in settings to send us logs of any errors. We update the app on a daily basis, so fixes find their way into new builds quickly.

Genuinly interested (not attacking) - how is this different from the HTC people blocker?
Been using this for a few weeks on desire also, and have to say its fantastic. The best Blocker by miles, and nice to have one that hides notifications through the Hidden mode feature. Great App, and great future.

This is by far the best call filter - no bloat features, just what you need to get the job done. Works perfectly!

Hello everyone! I am the developer of Prepay Widget, a simple but powerful app that allows you to monitor your cell account balance through USSD requests.
You can find more info about USSD on Wikipedia, but basically these are short, SMS-like messages used by most GSM and some CDMA providers to deliver information
or control account services. The actual information comes to you in the form of popup toasts, which thids app hides and parses into widgets.

However, i want to stress that its important that we get some device-specific feedback, so please post in this thread if you have issues,

suggest features. It is my belief that addressing issues is best done individually by phone, so if something doesn't work, let me know and I will fix it ASAP.

Debugging:
Please use the "Write to developer" item in the Settings menu to send logs. Enable debugging, reproduce your error and then send the logs.
Make sure you include a description - the more detailed the description the better.

Gtalk isn't working for me with multi user. Says that only the owner can use.
Anyone else having this come up? Hopefully Google releases a fix -.-
Same problem here, my girlfriend can't use Google Talk within her profile which is very disappointing since the rest of Android 4.2 is absolutely great.
Hope, a fix or workaround will be released soon.
No problem here. Do a factory reset that will resolve most of your issues. And restore apps without data.

same problem for me as well. I don't really want to do a factory reset just for this. I'm at work and without my tablet, so I can't test this, but does clearing data for google talk work as an alternative to factory resetting?
Same here. I think the error message is quite clear and easy to understand: the current google talk application is not compatible with multiuser environments. Update pending.

I would agree, but Omar04 claims he doesn't have issues, so it appears it is working for some people and not others, unless he is just mistaken.

I tried a factory reset. Didn't work. I hope they are fixing this.

I'm hoping maybe this means Google talk will become an application that gets updates from the play store. I'd take a 4.2.1 release as well

I totally agree with the Google Talk becoming a Google Play app. This would be awesome.

It would be nice because it continues the trend of separating application updates and new functionality from OS updates. It theoretically shouldn't matter on Nexus devices, because they get updates as soon as they are available.
A good example of where it would be great to have it in the play store would be for devices with carrier controlled updates.
My mom has a Droid Incredible 2 on VZW that does have a front facing camera, but the version of google talk doesn't support video chats. As it currently stands, she has to wait for the ICS update (or JB etc) to come out before having any chance of this getting solved. If Google could put it in the Play Store it would alleviate this issue.
They have clearly gone this path with many (most?) of their other apps at this point, so I don't see why it wouldn't continue.
To try and stay on topic though, I don't care too much if the multi-user gtalk problem is solved by an app update or an OS update as long as it gets solved. The multi-user implementation seems really great to me so far, but no gtalk is kind of a dealbreaker.

Well, I too think it won't help, but I saw what Omar04 suggested. Unfortunately I believe we have to wait for a 4.2.1 release or a Google Play app release to remedy this problem.
Update:
For some weird reason out of this planet when I first update using the OTA posted and added a new user Gtalk was working properly on both accounts, but now that I factory reset using Google factory images vía adb fastboot now I'm on same boat as you, no working Gtalk on other users.
That's my first and only issue at the moment. I will continue testing for some issues posted in several threads. Not related to apps because those resolve when apps get updated as MX Player a few hours ago.

Yesterday I reflashed Android 4.2 firmware from scratch (fastboot). Unfortunately the issue isn't solved. When I add another user, the new user isn't able to use Gtalk.
This is kind of frustrating. But right now, it's the only app, which really makes problems.

don't know if this forum is the right place to ask, but i consider to buy huawei p9 in israel and want to know if this device suffer from any widespread issues of GPS, call recording issues, bootloop issues or something really serious that will prevent from me to purchase device. i saw one person in this forum asked about GPS problem. this is very important to me because my current device is suffering from POOR GPS antenna and i don't want to buy another device with GPS issues.

I am using boldbeast recorder. Its on the play store but you need to get the beta version from the website
