Has anyone tried using AOSP Mods (https://github.com/siavash79/AOSPMods) on Android 13 on the 10 IV?
It (mostly) works on Android 12, but I've been holding off on updating in case it doesn't.
I've seen reports that it works on the 1 III, but has anyone tried it on the 10 IV?
Haven't tried it myself as I generally like to run without rooting if I can help it. But my guess is that a mod like that is device independent, so if it works on LineageOS on the 1 III, it should also work on the 10 IV.

As per the title, I've installed ripee's LineageOS 17.1 ROM on my Tab S2, and everything seems to be working, bar the camera. I've seen several posts around the interwebs claiming that that is indeed a common occurance with this ROM, but most of them were somewhat dated, so I was wondering if a solution had cropped up in the meantime. Failing that, can anyone recommend a ROM with working camera? I plan to use the tablet mostly for running Linux over Linux Deploy, but a built-in camera comes handy every now and then.

Hi all guys, I've been missing a long time from here, so please be care enough to forgive me if I posted the thread in the wrong place.
I'm currently using Android Auto and enjoying very much the amazing work made from Gabriele (AAAD, of which I payed the PRO version in order to help the developer's job).
I'm running AA version 6.3.611314 (downgraded from 6.4, because otherwise AAAD didn't work, since AA 6.4.... doesnt' let you show the apps installed apart from the official ones); Ford Focus Active with Sync 3 updated to 3.4 version, a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra5G (European) with Android 11.
Everything works fine, even AAAD installed programs.
The only problem is that every time I unlock the phone it disconnects from AA and then it starts again from the beginning. I opened the DEv Options in the phone settings and chose as standard setting for the usb - File transfer / Android Auto.
My question is: Why this disconnections happen and HOW can I fix it? I currently drive with the phone unlocked and, useless to say, it doesn't charge as much as it would if the screen had been off. I alredy tried with other cables, even with a Sam S9+ original one.

Same here, S10+ latest official, AA 6.4.611714-release, Ford Sync 3.x .
Doing so for about a week (or some more). At phone unlock, AA is crashing to Sync interface, and phone is asking for permissions in order to start Android Auto again (need to press Allow, otherwise AA will not start!)

It'd be nice to know whether the problem starts from the phone version , the AA version or from the car itself.

I can confirm that the issue is related to the last Sammy update , I have downgraded to may update , now aa works perfect

Can some one give me advice which custom rom can use with my Samsung Tab, I prefer Android 10 if si possible!
I need GPS, Bluetooth,WiFi and Data and Camera to work.
Current rom now is Lineage os 16.1 but some times Bluetooth drops or connects slowly (have to switch on/off several time to find/connect bluetooth devices).

Since I upgraded my Verizon S21 Ultra to Android 12, I can no longer use the wireless screen mirroring on my Kenwood ddx9906xr headunit. It worked perfectly fine before I upgraded, so I'm guessing it has to do with Android 12. I re-tested it using my old Note 9 running Android 10 and it still works. I also tried several different apps to mirror, but nothing worked. I normally just use the smart view from the swipe down menu. Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and what might be done to fix it?

So I was looking into a new phone I could buy new, had a headphone jack and telephoto lens, and maybe stereo speakers, and came across this phone.
I noticed that the Note 9 used to have lineage os support up until 17.1, and was wondering if there was any specific reason support was dropped? Is it hard to port 18.1 and 19.1 versions of LineageOS to the Note 9?
Some other questions I had about ROM'ing the note 9:
- Does performance degrade significantly when on ROMs?
- How is battery life?
- How's the camera, and is there a gcam apk that can use all the lenses?
- what features would I lose if ROM'd the device, and is their any ways to reinstall them or get mods (like thru magisk) to get them back?
- did the pen even work when it had LineageOS support? Is there apps/mods that can be installed to make it work?
For context, I'm coming from a Pixel 3a, and cross shopping with these:
- an A72 (4g), still 3 yrs of OEM software support
- Moto Edge 2020, LineageOS support, Plastic back and no IP rating to ruin so I don't feel bad about replacing the battery
- S10/+/5G, very good phone, just wouldn't feel to confident in replacing the battery
Any advice on how living with any of these phones ROM'd nowadays would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently using a N9 that has not be rooted, but has been heavily debloated via adb. I prefer to use it over a N20U.
I think LineageOS support for the N9 has ended, but you can ask in the LineageOS threads on the forum.
APNMirror has updated LineageOS application files for applications, such as Phone, etc...
I tried the LineageOS phone, contacts and messages apps on N9 and N20U.
GIF images cause the messaging app to crash on both phones.
Couldn't access one section of the phone (Version 23, Android 10) on the N9.
I don't access the internet (surf, chat, etc...), and mainly use FOSS apps with NetGuard.
N9 is a Beast!
