[CLOSED] Fastboot Rom Stuck on Redmi logo - Redmi Note 9 Questions & Answers

So I flashed the pixelexperienceplus rom on my Redmi note 9 (Merlin) a few days ago.
Everything was working fine except the Volte on my networks were not working so I decided to roll back to the original rom (MIUI 13 stock) and flashed the fastboot Rom of it. It then showed sucess on the MI FLASH TOOL and device booted and stuck on the redmi logo and not going anywhere. (I have all the adb drivers and all installed on my pc as well as on the phone)
Did I do something wrong in my flashing process. How do I fix it? I'd really appreciate if you all can help me with that

Could you post the Miflash log?

How To Guide Unlock Bootloader/Root Guide Xiaomi 11T Pro - EEA (RKDEUXM)

Disclaimer:
UNLOCKING YOUR BOOTLOADER WILL ERASE EVERYTHING FROM THE PHONE, INCLUDING INTERNAL MEMORY
This guide will walk you through the process of Unlocking your bootloader & rooting your Xiaomi 11T Pro - EEA (RKDEUXM)
Prerequisites:
Backup all the files on phone as we will be resetting the phone to unlock the bootloader.
Install ADB and Fastboot Drivers from here (Select the latest)
Install drivers for Xiaomi 11T Pro
Download MiUnlock Tool
Download Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools
Download patched boot.img for Xiaomi 11T Pro - Global (RKDEUXM)
- RKDEUXM - 12.5.16
- RKDEUXM - 12.5.13 / mirror
- RKDEUXM - 12.5.11
Unlocking the Bootloader:
Go to "About Phone" in Settings and keep tapping on MIUI Version until it shows "You are now a developer"
Navigate to "Additional Settings>Developer Options" and enable "OEM unlocking"
Make sure you have a Mi account and your sim is inserted. In Developer options, select "Add account". Now your Mi Account is linked with your Device.
On your PC, open MiUnlock Tool and login with the same Mi account you have used login to the tool.
Power off your phone and boot into fastboot mode by long pressing the power button + volume down button.
Connect your phone to your PC and click refresh in the MiUnlock Tool
After clicking unlock, it will give your a wait duration. (Generally 168 hours, there's no known way to bypass this wait time) You can continue to use your phone meanwhile, but remember to backup before clicking unlock after your wait time is complete.
After your wait is complete, click unlock and then click reboot. Your phone will now reset and boot up.
YOUR WARRANTY IS NOW VOID!!!
Flashing patched boot.img to root your phone:
Plug the phone to the computer via USB-cable
Turn phone off and go to fastboot
Now at ABD/Fastboot tools, change the tab to Fastboot.
Press Select image and find where you saved my pre-patched boot.img
Change partition to /boot
Press Boot to image and test that it boot correctly.
Turn off phone and go to fastboot mode again
Now press Flash image and you should have fully working magisk. You need to install Magisk Manager, you can do it straight from apps drawer, there should be icon for that.

Hello @dlazycoder
I have to fix one thing. My patched boot.img for Xiaomi 11T Pro is only for EEA (Europe & East Asia). It's not for Global ROM and I didn't tested does it even work with Global ROM, because version numbers are different!
EEA = V12.5.13.0.RKDEUXM
Global = V12.5.7.0.RKDMIXM
EDIT: The guide should also mention with big characters that UNLOCKING YOUR BOOTLOADER WILL ERASE EVERYTHING FROM THE PHONE, INCLUDING INTERNAL MEMORY
I hope that you could fix that part from your guide.

Is GPay working fine for you after root (/magisk)?
RKDEUXM is not global, it's EEA, for global it's RKDMIXM. It's best to just download the rom and extract boot.img from it yourself then patch it with magisk APK.

True, thats easy, but then the entire extraction process is so annoyingly complex. Thats the reason I personally posted a flashable boot.img so that inexperienced users could just flash and be on the go.
@dlazycoder , Please change the "global" mentioned in your post to "europe/EEA" other than that, the guide is very clear and easy!
Great job, we need the community for this phone needs to expand. Phone enthusiasts like us won't buy this phone if they realize there isn't much root/custom rom support for this on XDA. Vicious cycle.

Question [Solved] Mobile won't boot anymore ! :/

Hi guys, i just flashed (with a light wipe) the last rom for my Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (obtained on the update section of parameters) and i first lost all my config.
So, i decided to restore the backup i made just before flashing and here is the drama, it boot directly into TWRP and i can't seem to find my storage anymore (tried file manager)
TWRP also tells me that no OS is installed, please help, i'm desperate
I think the first step is to recover access to internal sdcard, and maybe then i can restore a backup
Thank you !
simply, Fastboot and install official rom using mi flash tool.
thats one of the penalties you'd pay of installing eu rom.

Thank you very much, sir !
Will try this and post the result, maybe with a little tuto if it's not already everywhere ^^
So, tried 5 times and not once a good result, the better i can obtain is 12.5.7.0 global working, flashed with xiaomitool. TWRP ok, and i will try Magisk next.
Every other tries solded by an sdcard/os/data loss T_T
That's a mystery. I ran on 12.5.17.0 all fine before this incident and i cannot get it work anymore :/
I obtained rom from https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=321331
TWRP from https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=14943124697586336381
Also tried this method again (this was my first method and it worked like a charm till this 12.5.20.0... )

The problem with global is it seems to be greatly outdated (patch from 2021.09, that's a huge security risk to be months backward nowadays, let aside bug correction, new functionnality, etc)
I can't seem to find a more recent global version (updater within settings tells me there's no more up to date version).
Do someone have an idea, please ? :/
What i'm doing :
1. put device on fastboot mode
2. launch xiaomitool and flash 12.5.7.0 global rom
3. reboot into fastboot
4. launch xiaomi unlock and unlock device
5. boot TWRP with fastboot boot twrp.img in cmd (command returned all ok)
6. into "soft" TWRP, One Key Inject TWRP
7. into "hard" TWRP > install and give it the .zip rom file
8. after the rom installed, all broken again :/
Hi,
there is no TWRP-ROM available for the Ultra - it's still in fastboot-ROM phase.
Flash via fastboot. Unlocking is just needed once until relocking with orig. ROM.
(Optionally) Copy boot.img from ROM-folder to phone.
Use Magisk to patch boot.img
Flash patched boot.img to boot_a and boot_b via fastboot.
Wait until TWRP-compatible-zip's for the Ultra to begin to appear.

Thanks for that ! ^^
That sure seem a simple task
You're telling me that i can, from my 12.5.7.0 global, patch the boot.img (90mb) from the 12.5.20.0 eu with magisk, flash this with fastboot and that it will work ?
Seems too wonderfull to be true XD
EDIT:
My bad, you said "optionnally", not "alternatively"
So, i'm stuck here, i don't know and can't seem to find the fastboot cmd to install the xiaomi eu rom in .zip format
Do you know it please ?
In all the 11 Ultra A12 weekly EU ROMs, the format is fastboot only. Just extract the .zip file to a folder on your desktop, connect your phone in fastboot mode, power on and vol down and then click on the update bat file. If your coming from a different branch, click on the update and format bat file ( the bat files will be in the upper most extracted folder). It is a simple as that .

Question What tool to use to flash Redmi Note 12 pro plus

On investigating the Xiaomi MI Flash tool there are 2 conflicting statements:
1/ Xiaomi MiFlash Tool is a flashing tool developed by Xiaomi Inc. This Xiaomi tool allows the users to flash the Stock MIUI 8, MIUI 9, MIUI 10 etc. all the older and latest versions of MIUI ROM on any Mi or Redmi Phone.
then
2/ The MiFlash Pro tool only supports devices powered Qualcomm Chipset.
As my phone has a MediaTek chipset I assume the Xiaomi tool will not work. In that case how does that affect the other tools like Magisk, do they support MediaTek chipsets?
I have unlocked the bootloader but I am now unsure how to proceed? Any help appreciated, I wish to install the stock global ROM over the Chinese ROM.
The official Miflash tool supports all Xiaomi, Qualcomm and MediaTeck devices.
You can also flash a Fastboot rom without using Miflash, use the .bat scripts included in the extracted folder of the TGZ file in Fastboot mode.

Question How can I restor EFS without backup?

I have a device
Mi 11t pro
I reset EFS file without backup.
The device no longer works and it is restarting in recovery mode
I downloaded several Xiaomi ROMs, including the modified EU ROM
And nothing benefited
Download custom recovery and custom ROM
So the device works but without lmie
Maintenance in my country told me the only solution is to remove the device and remove the resistance
But I do not want to disassemble the device now
Is there a way to make the device work without imei? On the official xiaomi rom? Because modified ROMs contain many errors and consume the battery
Is there a way to recover EFS files? Does anyone have a backup copy of the EFS file for the same type of my device so that I can restore it, perhaps my device will work again
Have you tried flashing this rom with Miflash?
