First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM TWRP or CTR -- Click HERE if you dont have.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash zip from SDCard
- Reboot

Is this ROM still running stably for those who had installed it in April?

Front Camera Issue
I am getting error when using front camera. It comes as camera not connected. Any work around? Please help. The rest of the ROM is amazing and smooth.
I even tried with different camera applications. Same issue.

Please list out common fixes and workaround as well.
For instance I got IMEI Invalid after installing this Rom. Then I went back to stock backed up EFS using Mobile Uncle and restored it back after installing AOSP again.
Second issue is the front camera...
Please help..

i have pressed Thanks button everything is good but My wifi is not working properly
it will connect to WiFi but not recieving any data
if i open my browser, it is showing that ''check your network or Internet connection''

Bro ur ROM is awosome but there are some bugs I find after using 1day of this ROM...like front camera not working....and brightness is set to zero level l....if it set automatically.. In day it go just blank .boot logo sound is taken from takken game its feels sometime irritating the whites theme not good its make hard for some time ...doesn't feel good ...I already hit thanks for ur effort for making this ROM.............plz dev prodive us a upgraded version of this ROM...it gonna very m2 ROM if these bugs are fixed....

Enter CTR Recovery
Take A BackUp of the current ROM you are using.
Now, Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
Wipe Dalvik Cache Advanced Options
Flash the rom
reboot and enjoy

Good one. needs more tweaking.
First of all, I salute the efforts of the person re-building this rom for Gionee M2.
I was fascinated by its great looks and interface. I could not remove it, but I had to.
Because, my magnetic sensor and digital compass sensors are not awake in this ROM. Somehow, I can not navigate without this functionality.
I loved the interface vary much but With all pain :crying: , I reverted back to my old, boring ROM.
If you tell me how to correct this, or if you can just pack the User interface and theme into a ne Upadate.zip I will be glad to remember your help. As the kitkat update is fast approaching for Gionee M2 (Sept 5th), I hope, I can use it (UI update zip) in that version as well.

just flash through CWM Recovery............ no need to wipe any thing, just flash.....n reboot
this can be also used to solve camera problem in others JB Custom ROMs (not for MIUI, VibeUI-ported by me....uploading soon)for Gionee M2.....but not tested..........i hope there is 99.9% chance to work...........(but recommended to take backup of your phone through CTR before trying)........I will not responsible if you brick your device............if u like my work.........plz click thank u

rear camara not working
i have gionee m2 8gb virsion.. after installing hive my rear 8 mp camara not working.. same happen when i install offcial 8 gb kk rom.. but after installing ota update provided by gionee my camra is working again.. i think camara fix can be found in 132 ota update provided by gionee. ithink iwill help you to find camara fix for new 8gb model relesed after october.. tnxx i hope youll provide camara fix soon..

What steps have you done to make this Port of the MT6592 to MT6582? I tried a tutorial here but not found. I would do the reverse process.

Decent ROM. CM11 Snapshot M11 based.
Its the same CM UI and the the dev has included the touchwiz launcher. No other major difference.
