Yakumo Co-Pilot Navi-Kit for xda II ??? - MDA, XDA, 1010 Accessories

1. Excuse my poor "germish"
2. Does anybody know if I can use the Navi-Kit of my former Yakumo dealta Co-Pilot-Bundle also for my brandnew xda II from o2? Physically the connector fits, but what's about the inside mysteries of the connector? Is there any danger of damaging the xda II? Is it always the same pin which brings the electricity from the lighter-plugs to the different pda's?
Thanks for any good advice!

what make was it for? Ipaq 38xx/39xx if so dont use it it will need rewireing and you can blow your xda 2 up.
if it was from your old xda 1 it will work fine

WM5 on XDAIIi on eBay

I'm watching an auction right now for what the seller claims is an XDA IIi running wm5.
I contacting him asking about it, basically asking if he was SURE it was an XDA IIi , not a II, he said yes, apparently he's upgraded an XDA II with faulty mainboard with an XDA IIi mainboard ???
Anyway, I'll post the link to the auction after I've won it or it's over (cos I want a good price if I can get it!

Be careful that there are so many types of XDAIIi in the world. Some of their appearance is exactly the same as XDAIIi but inside is PH10B (XDA2/andes) other than PH10C (XDA2i/alpine with wifi/520CPU/128128ramrom)
Ask him to take a picture of the device info screen and see if it's a 400mhz or 520mhz CPU.
how could he said XDA IIi running WM5??? here got many expert and everybody know....there's no WM5 yet for Alpine.
wait until buzz got an alpine......

Actually, there is WM5 on Alpine, but some dudes dont want to spread it coz of their bullshits, i been looking around on buzzdev.net, and readed in some thread that there is WM5 for Alpine, but not posted yet coz of some xx reasons!
Want to post a link to that? All I have seen is someone that supposedly put an HTC Universal ROM onto the Alpine.
I don't believe he managed it personally as he said he reformatted the ROM to 128mb, well for a start, that would have killed the OS itself, and boot loader, and ext rom, so he couldn't have done what he said.

UK Site for unusual XDA accessories

Can anybody make a recommendation for a good retailer in teh UK for XDA accessories? I'm not looking for run of the mill accessories (as I can search for that) but things that a re little more out of the ordinary.
What initially made me create this post was the suggestion in this forum that there is an adapter for the XDA II keyboard to connect to the XDA. Can't fidn it for love nor money. Also was interested in a WLAN cradle for XDA - I know the SDIO cards won't work but there has been mumblings in the forum with regards to a cradle / cover.
Many thanks in advance for ANY help.

Differences between o2 XDA Diamond and HTC Touch Diamond

Hi there!
I'm about to receive my o2 XDA Diamond in a few days.
As far as i know already, there are differences between the german o2 xda diamond and the "original" HTC Touch Diamond.
Can someone please list up these differences?
I thougt about buying equipment to the phone (car mounts, battery packs and so on), but i'm unsure about wheter they will fit or not.
If the difference is just the case: does anyone know wheter there are replacement cases so i can make sure my xda diamond will fit any htc diamond equipment?
Thanks in advance,
Incom
O2 is the same as the HTC physically apart from the corners on the HTC are angled. All mount/accessories will fit fine

[Q] Poor reception after screen replacement

Not sure if anyone can help with this. I've just replaced my SGS screen after bashing the original in a bike accident. (It's a genuine Samsung part)
Now I've found that phone reception is poor - it's always been a bit borderline in my flat, but after the repair I can't get my network (uk vodafone) inside. I can get it outside. Tried a few different modems without any improvement.
WIFI is fine.
I've opened up the phone again, and made sure all the little tabs are springy and making contact, and all connectors are in place.
Can anyone give me some advice on what else to try? I'm not sure exactly where the radio aerial is in these phones.
Sounds like some connector must be loose. Try a pm to iammodo, he's a samsung repair guy in blackpool. U can find his thread in the themes section. Hope u get it sorted.

Thanks guys. Have checked all the connections again. I'll try iammodo.
Just put my sim into my old blackberry, and have 3 bars - even when the SGS was behaving properly I had borderline reception here - a bar if I was lucky. Pretty poor show eh.

Check that its secured on the screen and the mainboard.
Apart from that return it and get a new one as its part of the screen.
Might just be a dud sorry can't help more.
