Can anybody make a recommendation for a good retailer in teh UK for XDA accessories? I'm not looking for run of the mill accessories (as I can search for that) but things that a re little more out of the ordinary.
What initially made me create this post was the suggestion in this forum that there is an adapter for the XDA II keyboard to connect to the XDA. Can't fidn it for love nor money. Also was interested in a WLAN cradle for XDA - I know the SDIO cards won't work but there has been mumblings in the forum with regards to a cradle / cover.

Sorry, I'm another one that has gone a got a gps and wants to cut it into the XDA car kit I have. I understand that I might be able to cut the connector off which is on the loom by the control box and wire it in there, any ideas on colours ? and indeed if I can do this?

2. Does anybody know if I can use the Navi-Kit of my former Yakumo dealta Co-Pilot-Bundle also for my brandnew xda II from o2? Physically the connector fits, but what's about the inside mysteries of the connector? Is there any danger of damaging the xda II? :shock: Is it always the same pin which brings the electricity from the lighter-plugs to the different pda's?

what make was it for? Ipaq 38xx/39xx if so dont use it it will need rewireing and you can blow your xda 2 up.
if it was from your old xda 1 it will work fine

I know this forum is very effective and members are very keen to answer. I would like to ask you guys if it is possible to unlock the xda 2. I have got 5 pieces to unlock. But in the forum i couldn't see any link for cid unlcoking. Also i need a usb cable for it. If anyone knows about the online shop in uk and can give me a link will be appreciated.

Don't know about shops but i bought a USB charge/sync cable from Ebay and ran the unlock tool i found on this forum successfully on 2 Alpines and one Himalaya.
Unlock tool. I used the earlier version.

i used the same as deedee except i put the unlocker on an sd card .copied it to programmes folder on device and ran it.works everytime for me..goodluck

looking at the 959 OEM Samsung car docks on ebay. Will they work with the i9000 since its essentially the same phone?
Its either this, or the palm touchstone mod for me... I can't take waiting for the official galaxy s dock any longer!

Do not know if it will help you but I have a I9000 and bought myself the official desktop craddle for 959. It feets perfectly.

thanks, that is a good hint for sure. So it stands to reason that if it fits the home dock, it should fit the car dock, too!
I wonder why nobody is buying it. Its not the easiest thing to get, but its available on ebay at least, and is pretty slick.
I do not know about the others, but I ordered a 6$ car dock on ebay and it does the job. So why would i spend more?

I'm looking to find out if it will work with the Bell Galaxy S Vibrant. Does anyone know?
I seem to recall the pinouts on the Micro USB are different so it would not trigger the Car Dock Home. Let me know if you get one and it works though as I want one as well.

I've had a look on eBay/net for components or broken tablets where I could buy for parts, without luck.
