wrong my friend! completely wrong! Dream and Magic also geo tag photos out of the box with the stock camera app, just switch it on from the settings.
i often geo tag photos of cool places to skate i see while im out, and then the Co-Pilot app has a menu that shows all your pictures that are geo tagged and it will take you there!

Well why don't you take a screen shot because for some reason in my settings it doesn't show it? Thank You
I don't have that option with CM 4.1. What rom are you on?
No one has that option it was like another thread was opened with some one saying something with the camera and then when we wanted proof they never showed it.

[Q] How to capture a screen from a video (for ex. YouTube)

Hello Everyone!
My name is Mentafagyi, i'm from Hungary, i'm new to XDA (now registered, dont just read forums) and this is my first thread with my first question
How can i capture a picture (make screenshot) from a YouTube video, like on Sony Ericsson K660i with camera button?
Thank you for the answers and Have a Nice Day
Long press power button and tap on screenshot?
Sent from my thumb using my eyes
There must be some apps for that coz I think you will be having a hardtime if you use the built in screen capture. In the meantime you can try this one.

If you are new here I guess you haven't rooted your X8 and still using Eclair, if yes then you must use an app that takes screenshots like Screenshot ER, you find it for free at play store
x)
Hy!
Im not a beginner, just for registering and opening threads
So i have root etc...
Im a hardcore Rom Tester
So if i just hold down power, press Screenshot it jusf shoots a Black image, no matter if paused or playing the video x)
Well in that case you have to try third party apps for screenshots no harm in trying.. mwah.

Xperia T stock ROM Camera issues JB 4.1.2

Dear all, I have recently bought 2 Xperia T's one for my wife and another for my mother (they both seem to have the same issue).
They are currently running the most recent stock ROM 4.1.2, not rooted just how it came from the box with one big update to 4.1.2.
I have read in many reviews that the camera was good, at least better than the one in Galaxy Note (N7000) or Galaxy S2, nevertheless when I compare the pictures, specially in lower light (just not the ideal, in doors with some light) scenarios they are all extremely blurred.
Am I doing something wrong? I use the 2 stage button to take the pictures, press it a little bit to get it to focus and then I press it a little more to take the picture.
When comparing the pictures in the same conditions, my Galaxy Note 1 does a better job, which is a pity as one of the selling points for my wife was the 13Mgpx camera.
If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks in advance for all your input.
Take the superior auto mode off and try again

Thanks for the reply. What should I put? Normal or something else?
Another thing I always use the 9Mgpx settings as it gives the 16:9 instead of 4:3 with 13Mgpx.
Just try with different settings. Its just like any camera, you need the correct setting for the picture you are taking. Superior auto sort of just takes a best guess and is good for quick snaps, but if you want a decent photo then you have to go through the settings and set it up as you want it.
There is a thread in the general section about how to take decent photos, just search for it.
@Johev if you find the thread about good camera settings please share it with me also, I googled but didn't find (found similar threads but for other phones )
thanks bye!

Hi @moly82, I have found the thread and it was somewhat useful.
Please see here
As for the summary of the advice is not to use the automatic settings, and to use normal settings with image stabilization ON (it is off be default) and sometimes you can play with ISO, etc.
I did try it and it seemed to improve the pictures so far, nevertheless have 2 complaints:
1) You need to know what you are doing, like for example my wife does not care what the settings are, just wants the pictures to look well. On my Galaxy Note 1 the N7000 or on the Galaxy S2 the pictures on default settings look better.
2) There is no way that I could find to have the default settings in the camera be Normal instead of the automatic [iCamera picture] ones. Which means that after you press the camera button to launch the camera application, you first need to change the settings and only than you can start taking pictures. This every time you launch the camera.
If anyone knows how to change the last point I would be grateful, as I am tiered of hearing that her old Xperia Ray took better pictures than the Xperia T.

thanks a lot my friend! I have just read it all. I enabled Image stabilization too now
about point 2, here after selecting normal mode every time I start the camera I find it in normal mode, not in iAutomatic again! (but I am not on stock, I am on custom rom, see my signature
bye!!

[Q] Timeshift Burst saves all images - why?

Hi guys,
Using stock ROM and camera (.257) on the Z1. I have a weird issue with the Timeshift Burst feature:
As I understand it, it is supposed to take 30 images, then let me choose one to keep.
Instead, it takes 30 images, lets me choose one, and then keeps all 30 images in my gallery!
They all get uploaded to Dropbox and G+, and they all clutter my on-device gallery. How do I make it stop? I want just one image, not 30.
Thank you!
you can do this.
DCIM\XPERIA\TIMESHIFT, then delete extra files before uploading

Both Dropbox and G+ auto-upload... Having to manually delete files is really a workaround - is there no "sane" way to do this? I expected a setting I missed or something.
Discovered the same annoying issue today. Hope the will fix it or at least give an option...

It's not an issue, Sony made it like this so you can later change the picture you selected. after you take a picture in timeshift burst, select a picture, then if you go to the gallery you will see one image. there is 3 buttons in the bottom right corner, the middle one is to change the picture, if you click on it you will get back to the screen you chose the picture from (as if you just took the picture right now and it's telling you to choose the picture you want to keep in gallery).
Probably the issue you're having is that G+ uploads all the 60 (they're 60 pictures, not 30) and shows them in the gallery. if you can remove G+ pictures from gallery, You'll be good to go.

yea its pretty annoying. i havnt tried to figure a way around it yet but maybe you could use foldersync to watch the folder where the timeshifts are saved, and get it to move them to another location, one that G+ doesnt listen to.
tasker might be another one to use. pick the photo you want to keep and copy it to the dcim/camera folder, then have a shortcut (swipepad is a handy way to launch tasks without leaving the current app) to get tasker to delete everything inside the timeshift folder
