Hi, Loe, I cannot copy out the copy, also cannot delete the file as well. in German rom, the file is 40.5K, so do you know how can we replace the file in my WWE rom, by the way the WWE rom file is 39.5K.

Orange SPV m3000 French ROM...

(Swiss) if anyone is interested? I also have the ext rom files (which are already posted on xda-developers ftp) if anyone wants those as well
Moridin
I have uploaded the extended rom. I also have the complete rom but it is an image of a 1Gb SDcard :?
Do you have a smaller image of the rom ? I'm interested.
Yep...it's the typical 40-50 MB. I will attempt to post it this evening and will add a link here.
BTW, you can use itsutil to extract the correct sized image from your sd. I will also find the link (to the instructions) and post it for you this evening.
Moridin
uploading the rom file now. Should be done within the hour.
My Orange SPV M3000 French ROM
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/HTC_Wizard/Orange_SPV_M3000-FRA.rar
You will need the itsutils to aplly it to your miniSD card.
http://www.xs4all.nl/~itsme/projects/xda/tools.html
I used this "how-to" to do mine and it worked perfectly both ways
http://www.modaco.com/Backup_your_Typhoon_ROM-t201334.html
Hope this is helpful!

Can someone help me please ?

After my first hard reset my qtek g100 lost the midlet manager link the jmm.exe also. Is there any way to install midlet manager again ?
thank you
Have you lost only the shortcut to jmm.exe or the complete application. If it's only the shortcut then you can easily create one with the built-in file explorer. If the whole application is gone, then check the ftp site for the cab file under the Extended ROM folder.
Downloaded the 'WM5 BA - TuMa v1.3 - Release' zip file and extracted the MidletManager-TuMa CAB. Passed it to the QTEK g100 storage card and instaled it. No errors so far. After installation made a soft reset. Midlet Manager link was there in Programs. The jmm.exe, etc also installed ok. However clicking the link or the jmm.exe file directlly nothing happens. What am I doing wrong ?

Autorun.exe Help Required

Can anybody help me with a problem
I want to autoinstall some cab files on a wm5 wizard. (Like tomtom does under wm2003)
Problem WM5 don't want to install!!!
I have used the 2577 folder and the autorun from tomtom, renamed my cabs to the tomtom names (ttn.cab, gps.cab etc) this works fine under wm2003 but will not install on wm5
Does Anybody have a hacked autorun.exe that installs cabs on wm5 or
a Hacked extended rom autorun.exe that reads the config from the storage card instead of the extended rom.
The second option would be better as then all i have to do is re-write the config for different sd-cards
Please Please Please help me all you programmers/hackers/reverse-engineers or whatever you would lke to be known as.
Many thanks in advance
Autorun reads the ini from the /ExtendedRom/ location and that is hardcoded..
I can't be changed because it will render the certificate invallid.
However you can use:
PocketPC Installer ( http://www.pocketpctoolkit.com/index.htm )
It will make an autorun.exe for you (to install cabs registry keys etc etc..)

Doesn't Autoconfig.exe just reads the Config.txt file from the same directory?
Just change the Config.txt so it fits your needs and I think you will be done.
Only problem is that every app will be installed to Main Storage.
I actually have to know this, but cannot try it right now, my device is flashing one of my test Roms

The one from orange (NLD) doesn't. It reads the one in the extended rom.
Have disassebled it with IDA-pro, there I saw the strings pointing to the extended rom.
After patching it I got a certificate error when I tried to run it..

Saving current files !

Guys, I have been trying to find a way to have my qtek (original keyboard files) saved in order to load it back after a ROM upgrade.
- How can I save files from PPC \windows folder if the system locks the files after powered up ?
- How does .mui file works ? On my qtek I have a lot of files named with xxxxx.dll.0416.mui
- What are the other files involved in word completiotion, and dicitionary that needs to be saved ?
Thanks
Why? isn't the qtek keyboard files the original ROM files?
When I say, use the keyboard files, to reaload it in a new flash, in order to have keyboard working properly.
QTEK (ROM Portuguese Brazil) -> FARIA (ROM English)
Was that a weird question ?
