Bluetooth reconnection problem. - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I've got an annoying problem with Bluetooth on my Kaiser. I'm currently using Motorola S9 headphones, I paired them with Kaiser for the first time and everything was working perfectly but whenever I turn Bluetooth on my phone off or pair the headphones to another device I cannot connect to tytn again. I have to delete partnership with headphones on TYTNII and then pair them again to be able to use the headphones. Everything is all right when I turn off the headphones and then turn them on again...connection is established automatically. The problem occurs only when Bluetooth on tytn was turned off or the headphones were used with another device. Is there a solution to this problem?

I've had some BT connecton problems too. I have the SonyDR-BT21Gs and if I pair them with something else, the only way I can get them to connect again is to initiate a phone call. Not sure why, but once the Hands Free protocol connects, the Wireless Stereo protocol also starts working. May or may not help you, though. FWIW, I also have the S9s and have had no problems with them, but I use them only with the phone while working out, so they may fall suffer under the same scenario as I described for the Sonys

Having Bluetooth "Handsfree" and A2DP connected at same time causing severe skipping
Hi....I know there are a lot of posts regarding skipping while playing MP3s over A2DP. My problem is perhaps a little bit different because I've narrowed my problem down to the handsfree bluetooth service.
Here's my situation with my unlocked HTC TyTN II using the stock HTC ROM and with no registiry modifications (bitpool, etc)
If I have only A2DP connected and streaming music to an external bluetooth receiver the MP3 playback is flawless. It sounds fantastic. I've tried Windows Media Player, PocketMusic, and PocketPlayer and they all work just great.
However, when I turn on my handsfree headset (which is a separate device from my A2DP receiver) and allow it to connect to my TyTN II, extreme stuttering immediately occurs through the A2DP music stream. When I shut off my handsfree headset the stuttering stops and the music stream returns to its usual fantastic sound. The problem can be replicated also by leaving the handsfree headset powered ON and simply enabling handsfree service on the HTC TyTN II to cause the stuttering to begin. The stuttering stops immediately when handsfree service is subsequently disabled.
Anyone else out their experience this? Any suggestions? For the time being I have to resort to disabling handsfree when streaming music to my A2DP bluetooth receiver.
Skipping/Cutting out/Speeding Up/Slowing down
Not much to add other than 'Me Too!' and thanks for tracking this down since i thought i was going nuts since I've had a couple of times where i thought i had it resolved only for it to crop up again.
Are you also experiencing your A2DP audio speeding up and slowing down along with the audio cutting out? since to me that is the most bizarre of all of the audio freakery going on.
I found my Logitech handsfree less likely to cause cut outs when on than my Jawbone does. but neither were trouble free.
Just an update for those that may experience the same problem as me. I've noticed that sometimes I have perfect audio even though I am connected to my handsfree car system while streaming music via A2DP. So this leads me to believe that bitpool settings and such are not the issue...since the perfect audio can occur with the default settings. I have also heard in other threads that flashing a new radio may help...but haven't gone to that measure yet.
What I have been able to determine is that this horrible skipping/stuttering occurs when my phone is changing cell phone towers.
That is, if
1) Streaming audio over bluetooth via A2DP
AND
2) Tytn II also connected to a handsfree device
then A2DP skips horribly when the phone needs to switch cell towers.
I have confirmed this by using the program PhoneAlarm to log the cell phone towers my phone is connected to. My A2DP stuttering/skipping problem coincides with every change in cell phone tower.
Now having said all this there is still one other factor that plays into it that I haven't quite figured out. If I soft reset my device and then immediately connect to my car and A2DP stereo then I do not get the stuttering problem when changing cell phone towers. However if I spend the day using the device, active-syncing and such at work, then on the drive home I will ALWAYS get the stuttering during every cell phone tower hand-over.
Frustrating. Anyway...hopefully I'll eventually figure out the last piece of the puzzle. I would rather not have to soft reset every time I get in my car just so that I can get good audio.

I do recall getting this behaviour when using Windows Media player...but I have started using the new Pocket Player and have since never experienced the audio slow down problem.
I found a work-around that works for me. It's posted here:

I seem to have related but a different problem with skipping.
I have both Sony and goldlantern BT headphones which i tried (stereo profile).
Both severely skip audio when located on the left side of my belt. Silly but the reception/skipping problems improves a GREAT deal when i move it to the right side. It works flawlessly inside of the building where i have no phone signal but outside -- it skips horribly, even worse after 6.1rom upgrade.
Can anyone confirm that the BT signal going through the body worsens skipping? If so, I assume the signal strength/BT/wireless channel may be at fault, not the tower switching as for me, it happens even when I stay stationary.
Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I think part of the problem can be the A2DP device as well. I had a pair ofr HT 820 older bluetooth headsets with A2DP that were skipping and annoying. I went out and bought some s9s and the problem went away. I figured just for a test I would try the HT820 out again, still skipping. So for me it was not the phone but the A2DP device.

i thought that too but i have two different headsets from two different manufacturers, both are skipping the same...
A2DP requires a lot of the bandwidth Bluetooth can provide. Having a 2nd connection open simply exceeds what the Bluetooth chip can handle, no surprise in that. If the BT headset keeps the connection open it's very likely to happen.

what do you mean by a SECOND CONNECTION?
i have 2 different headsets because i thought that i have a poor headset, but both work similarly bad, which makes me think it is the tilt, not the headphones. i do not have 2 connections, never has it and not even sure if it is possible....
Lowering of bitrate did not help at all.....
Anyone have experienced these problems? anyone is using BT headset besides motorola s9?
On mine it does it when it picks up a wi-fi hotspot. When I'm driving the wi-fi is on when the screen is and whenever I pass a hot spot it drops out. Turning the wi-fi off solved it. Don't know if it does it with cell towers.

The thread was initially about skipping when BOTH an A2DP stereo headset AND a BT handsfree were connected at the same time, as the title shows. I was commenting on that.
Other than this, when I want to listen to music I can leave the Kaiser in my room and walk around in my entire flat with the headphones on without skipping (around 10-15m straight line, with some walls).
However, Wifi must not be active and communicating, otherwise either / both of them will drop. If I'm using Wifi and start streaming audio via A2DP, the wifi will slow down a lot and sometimes disconnect. In the same way if Wifi is communicating the audio will skip. If both of them are active but one is idle everything's fine. But that's also normal as both share the same frequencies and will step on each other. When usage is low it's not noticeable but when both are using a lot of bandwidth then they will disturb each other.
The cell radio doesn't seem to cause any problems for me.

[Q] Auto connect A2DP

Is there an app for android to automatically connect A2DP when the handsfree connects?
I used to use an app called autoA2DP on win mobile.
At first pairing it connects both a2dp and handsfree, after that only handsfree connects automatically, any help would be appreciated as it's already driving me nuts....
Thanks!
- Anthony
Go to bluetooth settings, long press on the device in question, then options. Make sure Phone and Media are both checked.
Yep, they are... I can manually connect a2dp from both the car stereo and the phone, it just doesn't happen automatically like the handsfree does, had the same prob with windows mobile, but an xda dev user here developed autoA2DP to watch for a handsfree connection, then activate A2DP.
I don't know why yours is different, but mine auto connects for both every time I turn my Bluetooth headset on.
It does vary between headsets a bit. My Jabra Halo's connect automatically when I power on the phone or the headset. On the other hand my JBL Reference 610's had to be connected manually every time.
Still it seems odd though that is connects in handsfree and not A2DP, I always thought it was all or nothing. When a device connects it gives all available profiles and the phone decides what to accept. I don't know, sorry.
I have the same problem.. it does not auto connect with my car's bluetooth. The only way it auto connects is when I have the discoverable mode on (which has a limit of 116 secs or so). So an app that lets you be discoverable all the time would be great!

Same problem but reverse. My phone connects automatically to my phones music everytime i switch it on, however the more important headset/phone functions do not. I must manually disconnect and reconnect the stereo from within the phones bluetooth settings for both to work. Have looked through hundreds of threads found loads of people eith the same problem, yet no solutions. Would love an app to just disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth the moment it detects a paired device in range.... as yet found nothing...
Well... I'm getting the same.
I have LiquidAUX on my car and to have both phone and a2dp synced, I have to restart phone BT and LiquidAUX every time I go into car. And most of the times I can only have 1 connection each time, or phone is on and a2dp is off or a2dp is on and phone is off. It's really annoying since I had an HTC Hero with Android 2.2 and it used to work with no problems...
Hi guys,
Before one month I buy HTC Desire android and I have problem streaming audio through Bluetooth. I have connected the phone with my car and they are paired. Every time when I go in the car my phone is connected to the car Bluetooth automatic, but I'm not able to run A2DP.
I'm with latest Runney rom, before that I tested with MIUI XJ, but no success with both.
Can some one tell me if there is rom without these 2 issues - bluetooth auto connection and a2dp.
Thanks

BLU R1 HD issues with Bluetooth HSP and Wired headsets

Hi Guys,
I have the Amazon's original version (with the ads version), and I experience the following issues.
1) Blutooth connects initially with both A2D and HSP fine, however after a disconnection, it can't connect again to HSP, only to A2D. I've seen this with x2 devices - BLU can't connect to them both after disconnection to with HSP. Only after rebooting the phone, it can connect again initaly to HSP.
2)When plugging a wired headset, I can hear through it great, and also record my own voice with voice recorder, i.e mic and headphones work. However when dialing, I can hear the other side, but the other side can't hear me. Tried with x2 different wired headset, that worked good with another phone.
I've tried searching for info on these issue, but couldn't find anything. Could you advise ?
Thanks,
Michael.

As far as your wired headset issue, it does not happen on my r1 or my sisters r1. Your phone may just be defective in some way. I have called people successfully using a headset
Having same issues and found that by doing a reboot or restart I can correct them. But it comes back later. Irritating!
I see this too often as well. Restarting the speaker doesn't help - I have to reboot the phone to get it working again. It's very annoying as the built-in speaker is so bad that I always want to use the Bluetooth speaker when I'm home.

Bluetooth issues - phone "hijacks" Spotify control, turns off call-audio on BT devic

Bluetooth issues - phone "hijacks" Spotify control, turns off call-audio on BT devic
BT seems is super annoying. Not sure if it started on the last update (9.1.0.153) or it was happening before as well.
I'm experiencing two issues related to BT:
1. during a call through BT headphones (Bose QC35), the BT profile changes automatically: call-audio is being toggled off, and the headset is no longer being used for the call. Turning it on during the call works for a few minutes and then it toggles off again. Tried to un-pair the device and pair it again.
Might be important to note, I also had a laptop connected to the headphones at the same time, but I definitely didn't have that issue with my previous phone (Xiaomi mi5s) in the same conditions.
2. when using Spotify on a laptop. if the app is also running on the phone, it randomly hijacks the control.
I think it happens only when the phone is connected via BT to a media device, doesn't matter if the laptop is connected to the same one or not. It happens to me in two situations:
a. using BT headphones connected to both the laptop and the phone.
b. when the phone is connected to BT speaker and the laptop is connected by wire to a different set (to an amp via DAC).
in the above scenarios two different laptops are used.
It's really annoying,
Any idea how I can solve this?
Thanks
p.s. device version is VOG-L29, don't know if it matters.

BT headset random disconnect

Hi
I have a P30 Pro, EMUI 9.1 .0.193 and I'm experiencing random disconnect of my BT headset during the call. I had a Voyager Legend and now a Jabra Supreme UC but the problem is still present.
Basically, during a phone call, randomly, the BT headset disconnect and the call is routed to the phone, or to another BT device.
The phone is very close to the headset to I don't think it is a problem of distance.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks
Stefano
Yes, mine does the same with different headsets so I believe it is the phone, not the headset. I have to reboot my phone every week because Bluetooth will connect to my headset but only for calls, not for audio.

I'm trying to understand if there is something around that could generate the problem... Random disconnections occur only when I'm at home at my desk, I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected to the PC, probably there is interference. I never had disconnections when I'm outdoor or in the car...
I will try to pay more attention to this fact, maybe you can do the same to see any possible relationship of the problem with the sourrender environment.
