I had a Qtek S200 and a PocketZenPhone plugin inside (for me the best profile switcher).
I bought the diamond which has the Touch Flo 3D and now I don't know how to put the plugin in the today screen. Everytime I check the box with another plugin (which is different from TouchFlo) it doesn't work.
Can someone help me please or find another solution (I want to have a profile switcher whit which I can change with one touch all the settings: sounds, bluetooth, notifications, etc.).

Are you trying to use TouchFlo while using your Plugins?
Unfortunately this is not possible.
Touchflo will automatically disable all Today plugin once enabled.
I hope HTC will think about adding a tab for "normal" today plugins in touchflo (option?). That would help "power users" a lot...

What I am most worried is HTC Home things or sw:s. F.e there is a tab for profiles (silent, meeting...) and launcher.... and so on...
So my question is if I remove HTC Home from my desktop where I can find settings for profiles and other htc home applications.

If you remove it, why do you need the settings for it ?
The only thing you really lose is the automatic profiles, which only works if you have the today plug-in, afaik.

I can find Comm Manager, brightness, lock, active sync but really... how I can change my profiles when I am not using HTC Home.
And answer for your question: I want remove it because (from my point of view) it takes 2 much space from today screen (even it is quite nice application). However I would like to use f.e pocket breeze and I needed more space.
Or is it possible create 2 or more "today screens", and in some of these screens (or pages) would be also HTC Home...

I would like to ask if anyone has used Ultimate Launch (UL) before and can he/she try activating Touch3D as one of the Plugin in UL?? I can do so for the TouchFlo Home plugin.
If this is workable, then I believe we can have Touch3D as only ONE of the many plugin while UL can also have plugin for SPB Diary, (SPB Shell 2.0?), SPB pocket+, PocketBreeze and PhoneAlarm.. etc. That will be awesome, ya?!

Hmm.. from my experience with my diamond, if you turn on the touchflo today plugin then it immediately turns off all other today plugins so there are no conflicts.
I don't think it's possible to make this work with other today plugins - it's either all or nothing.
I tried this yesterday and it just don't work. U can not use TouchFlo3D as a tabbed part of UL.....

use ultimate launch to place touchflo3d on first page and the other plugins on the next page. you can size one page to fit the whole screen so that you can switch between whole pages with your thumb or with a click, like you want

ps: if you prefer freeware you can use battery status, it can include today plugins as well but you have to create a personal theme on a xml-base. i made it for nike and elf, it should work on diamond also. i'm going to use batterystatus too on the diamond, but we germans has to wait until t-mobile sells the device on july 14th. if you can wait so long i will give you my theme

The Ultimate launch is than removed from the todayscreen.
Can you explain what I have to do to make my own xml file fot batterystatus?

just had the same idea, ul didn't work at all
hopefully there will be a new ul version with diamond support
tf3d is so nice, i wish i could remove the internet tab and replace it with batterystatus instead!
Guys try this program http://www.chi-tai.info/download/SecondToday.zip and do this:
Copy SecondToday.exe to your desired location, e.g. \Program Files\SecondTody\SecondToday.exe and start the application
and then just copy the program again to windows start menu, and then add it to program list in the htc touch flo. then when ever you want it just click it.
Until now this is the best way to fix it

is it possible to run this second today - thing in autostart without interfering with touch3d?sometimes it does not open when i execute it...
i need to keep an eye on my calltimes and umts-data because both is limited due my contract and the only tool that handles both is (as far as i know) battery status...correct me if i'm wrong. gprs counter is bundled with my diamond but it isn't able to count call times...
edit: just tested it and second today always gets closed (or crashes) when touchflo3d is enabled...i can add plugins to 2nd today but when i switch back to touchflo3d second today not listed in taskmanager anymore after a couple of seconds.

I use a program called Ariel Battery and disabled the default battery icon. Put Ariel Battery in your startup folder, you can modify color schemes, it's small and even shows you the %.

I just tried some profile applications like spb phone suite, the problem is that the only way to switch profiles is deactivating TouchFLO interface.
I think there should be a simple application that you might select different profiles, maybe tapping the same icon where you can see current running applications, or simply by putting some shortcut in the start menu.
any ideas?

I had the same problem. I've resolved using second today (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401907). I've installed spb phone suite as plugin in second today and remapped the left soft key of TFL3D to open 2nd today (as mentioned in the post I've linked). It works very well without any problem. Only two taps and you have the profile you want .

Hi everybody,
since one week, I'm the proud owner of a the great HTC Touch Pro.
In the meanwhile I tried nearly every day new software, new themes, new wallpapers and so on, to customize the HTC TP according to my needs.
After I tried various user-interfaces, I came always back to the Touch Flo 3D interface... it's the best for me (according to usability and design), even if there are 2 issues that are still frustrating since I were not able to solve them or find a proper workaround:
1. The home-screen shows only the next appointment and is not customizable to show more than 1 appointment at the same time - even if I scroll down (the clock is getting smaller), there's only 1 appointment shown.
This behaviour is not very satisfying - especially since I'm using my phone mostly for the business.
2. The is my biggest problem: I have a tool called "profiles" - with this tool, you can manage and create different profiles and you can also create a schedule that can switch profiles automatically (I was using this tool already on my old device with windows mobile 5 and it worked great). Especially the schedule-functionallity was very great and I'm looking for a solution that is also working under Touch Flo 3D.
As far as I noticed, profiles is not working with touch flo 3D - the scheduled tasks are not applying and the activation of a profile within the program is not working - I think this tool is only working if you install the plugin on the home screen (of the windows mobile interface).
Since I have no "home screen" in Touch Flo 3D, the tool is not usable for me.
Does anyone here have a comparable profile-tool which works under Touch Flo 3D (with the scheduling option)?

I have spent whole day searching i have try almost every single of them most are not free and they are as today plug-in so it sux because if you use TF3D you can't use anyother plugin unless you install Second today. So angry as hell i have pointless shuffle through XDA and...

it can switch profiles according to many rules such as time, schedule, appointment etc. etc. and it have plenty of options.
i also found Phoneweaver but eventually because it's not free i didn't test it ( Had enough of payed software after PhoneAlarm and SPB Phone suite which are only today's plugins... )

I doubt it. Only soft/hard key remaping or program launcher tab.
ageye can do no wrong! Everything made by ageye is awesome. Try out g-light as well to tweak your backlight. I just tried this last night, and it is pretty cool. g-alarm is also a must have.

You could try SSMaPa http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407777
a manila patcher with which you can reassign other programs to manila programs - also to the clock on the home screen.
I use it for iContact and it works great

That`s absolutely true!
My HTCTP never survived the whole night until the next morning!
Maybe you should also try to reduce the polling intervall that should reduce the battery consumption...
Now, I have only the QuickSwitch enabled and implemented it directly "behind" the clock on Manila 3D (with SSMaPa - see link above) - that means: When I click on the clock an the startpage, the quickswitch window opens and I can directly select my profile!
G-Profile + SSMaPa = The unbeatable solution for windows mobile !
