Hi pple!!
Am very new in xda-developers forum, and encountered problems here. Hope to seek you guys' advice. i do not know who else to post the question to!!
I was browsing thru' the threads and tried to DL a few of the shared files. But i was kept prompted to save a "attachment.php" file! It states that i was not logged in and therefore cant save the required files! But I checked and was sure i am logged in!! Is it not a privilege of member to save the shared files or is there an error somewhere?

am using Safari as browser. using the usual way of saving files, "ctrl" key then save file as.. but the "attachment.php" file instead of the linked file is being downloaded!!! all the time!!!

I use Safari aswell, it happens when you log in from the page you are downloading from, so when you get redirected after logging in the attachments will download as attachment.php
You just need to either refresh the page after logging in and before downloading the file, or log in on an alternative page first

Are you really asking how to install a CAB file????? No wonder no one wants to help you..............
First transfer the CAB file to your phone/storage card(remember where you put the file, you will need to know to locate it on the phone).
Go to Start, Programs, and File Explorer.....Navigate to the folder you put the CAB file into and OPEN it, once opened it will automatically start installing.
I am assuming based on your question that its probably gonna ask you if you really want to install because it might not be a trusted certificate just click YES
Now its going to ask you where to install to.....option 1 the DEVICE.........option 2...........Storage Card(if you don't have a storage card then obviously there will be no options and it will just install)
Last, If you can't perform any of the above steps PLEASE don't even try OR attempt anything on this forum. Thread should be closed.

Guys I have just modified the 2330..bla manila file following the guide in the Sticky. Everything is ok expect one thing, I did everything, added my city (Lugano, Switzerland). When i go to weather tab and i choose my city it says connection error, but every other city works great :S Can you please help me?
I'm having no luck either.
The instructions regarding SQLite don't work for me. Should point out you need to take off the Read Only flag else SQLite browser won't save your changes. The cities are added ok, and now selectable, but they do not update the weather. Keeps saying connection error (attempted many retries too), just for the custom ones. The default cities update fine.

Same, and yes I took off the Read Only flag. I'm having your same problem. Please guys help us :S
After you have edited your manila file and set everything up, remember to install Weather Database editor 1.2 and then run the program. After that everything should be working A big big big thanks to "spud_work" who gave me this tip

Why dont you shearch before you open a new Thread !?
you can find about the weather connection etc. in many threads.
BTW there Allready is a DUTTY 3.7 Thread, so i think there is no reason to open a new thread !

hi all
i had the same problem with the weather using david uk rom the latest one.
This what i did and it worked for me
1. find HH_0409 weathercities_xml file in windows
its under HKEY_Current User\Software\Manilla.
2. Copy the file somewhere on desktop also make a backup of file incase need to replace it.
3. Open it with note pad and change a city which u are not likely to use, find the city code from Accu Weather website and replace all the code.
4. Save the file and copy it back to phone ( i put it in my documents folder) use total commander and replace the existing file.
5. Go in HTC Weather and add new location and file will be there for u to use. Worked for me so hopefully will work for u also.
Tried installing Weather Database but Touch Flo kept crashing tried loads of versions but same result so i tried this method and bingo it worked .

Hi all, i just wanna share how i am doing it.
1. Edit 2330dc3c_manila in the sql lite to edit your city
2. Copy the 2330dc3c_manila to storage card
3. use total commander / resco explorer copy 2330dc3c_manila file to /windows (OVERWRITE IT)
(if you update now, u will receive connection error)
4. install the weather master 1.3
5. run weather master once.
6. turn off the touch flo 3d
7. copy 2330dc3c_manila to windows/ (Do This AGAIN)
8. delete forecast_cache at Application Data\HTC\databases
9. turn on your tf3d
10. you now can update your city.
this way work for me.. CMIIW

Sometimes a search returns so many results it's all but impossible to find the answer, unless you've been lucky with your chosen search terms.
If you've found the answer, a better way to educate people in the ways of searching might be to tell them what search terms you used. A link to the answer that you found by searching will also be useful.
This is a huge forum, with hundreds of threads and many thousands of posts, and tracking down the few posts that might help with an issue can sometimes be very difficult.

I agree that it can be hard to find answers especially in long threads, but if search didn't help, why not ask this question within thread. There is already a discussion at present in Duttys V3.7 thread about this subject with possible solutions so NO need to open new thread

After hours of no help from searching, please tell me how I can download zip files with my 8925 Tilt! I continuously get a message stating Central directory could not be found denying me the download. Will some one help myself and others with this?

Yes, ones I already had on my SD card from my previous device -Wizard.
What if you install pocketrar (or another zip tool other than current default) and set it as default app to open zips?
I still think it's server side probs. Especissially if it not happens to all site. How many web-sites you tried?
I downloaded a few games from the WM Marketplace and was going to flash my phone. I want to know how I can back up the data from my games that were downloaded from the marketplace so that my progress won't be lost? In other words, what folder are WM marketplace downloads saved to?
The .cab files are automatically deleted after the install. People have found ways to hack that process and get .cab files, but you can check the thread in "General" for that.
The games are installed in the "Program Files" folder in main storage. I guess you should check for any files that save your progress there.

the marketplace software - windows dir
software downloaded from market place - program files (on phone).
If u have the xda patched marketplace u can download to the sd card. so it would be on program files (on sd card)
all cabs are auto deleted after the software is installed for piracy reasons.
i expect anything bought on the marketplace is registered on your live account and will let u re-download to your phone.

thanks for the info guys, didn't know about this hacked marketplace cab till now. So that means that ppl can download a paid app from the marketplace and post the cab online for others to download? lol

the patched marketplace cab lets u save the downloaded software to your sd card (not the cab).
there is a way to get the cab but no one is allowed to say but its pretty easy. but they complain the software is not very good to stop piracy but there are a million websites with cracked cabs so if anyone wanted cracked software they could get if within minutes through google.
i was trying to find the cabs too... but mos of what i see was a tmp file...
but you could find the setup xml in \Windows\AppMgr, search for the files and compile it..?

I can't seem to get my fire stick to dump to my computer, only to the stick itself. I need to dump it to my computer so I can restore my settings to another stick or to a fire box.
All the YouTube videos I've seen or threads I've read have Kodi on their computers, or the info is just too confusing to make this happen. Please direct me how to do this. Please?
