iPaq 6515 crash issue - Beetles

Hi everybody!
I have just resolved problem with GPS on my iPaq, but another problem occured.... My iPaq has strange habit to crash every time when it runs just on the battery alone. No matter what I do, make telephone call or GPS navigation it crashes. As soon as I place it on external power it runs without any problem. It sounds as if insufficient battery power supply. Does anybody of you has the same problem? It there any solution for it?
Thank you guys in advance!
Serg.

GPS finds sat's, engage, 5 sec, than disengage...

This is my problem... It finds many satellites in the sky... connects... stay about 5 seconds like this... Then connection gones... Same thing both for TomTom and GPS Tuner program... I've stayed for 15 minutes under sky... always same loop... Any ideas to solve it? Remedies?
Same for me sometimes. Got last SwiftBlade ROM and recommanded .025 radio
I've been using swiftbl 5.5 for a long time and really like his rom... also .25 radio like you did...
ok i'll try to switch to 5.6... I think key parameter is radio rom but anyway... it seems there is not any other remedy...
I'll be happy if someone states another solution...

Yep... same thing was happening to me - turn off A-GPS (Diamond Tweak or Advanced Config can do this)
Use only QuickGPS (this is different to A-GPS)
Does a soft-reset help?
I appreciate this isn't really an acceptable fix, but it might help quantify how severe the cause of the problem is.
Mathew
it seems it is solved by itself now... i don't understand really... So it's all about signal quality i guess... time to time good time to time lousy... so there are not enough satellites on Germany... noone believes this, right?
But I'll keep switching off agps in mind... thanks everyone...
Your symptoms are not indicative of signal quality problems, but as you're sorted that's all that matters.

Xperia - HTC Diamond touch - problem with clock

Hi,
I'm a victim of weird problem that occurs on my SE Xperia X1 phone and affects the clock.
Generally, after going into standby mode something is happening with system clock and after switching the phone on the clock is late - sometimes just few minutes, sometimes few hours.
This bug appears only sometimes and the soft restart seems to solve the problem for a while (the clock updates itself to correct time), still it is very unfortunate bug, especially when you use a phone as a alarm every morning
Did someone had such problems with X1? and perhaps know the way to solve this problem?
best regards
piotr
my x1 seems to freeze about once per day when docked. usually the only way that i notice is when the clock is stuck (i.e it's still stuck at 15:30 when it's 16:15). the other thing that happens is that for some reason the default theme is applied when i open the start menu (i.e the start menu colour is the same as the genric windows theme colour) ...
a reboot fixes this issue. so far this has only happened to me when i've been docked (as far as i'm aware) so it may have something to do with activesync ... ?
hardreset is the fastest way to solve "strange" problems.
do it and check without installing anything. if it happens again your xperia has something bad, if it happens again after installing software, then there's some program causing it.
I got the same thing.
Very annoying.
Only noticed it with the new R2A roms though..

doh ! i was hoping that the new firmware solved the problem. :-(
Thanks guys! Today I updated Xperia to R2AA10 and so far I did not install any new software (it is hard to resist though. I'll let you know if that solved clock thing
Guys after the R2AA10 update the clock problem is still there. No programs install for 2 days, and today suddenly, clock has gone 1 hour back...
What is going on?
This happens only in 2nd and 4th panel. The clock is normal in the 1st panel, and in the panel with the fish...
What should i do? I tried soft, hard reset, everything!

I would not say it is a matter of panel - on my Xperia this problem occurs in first panel (even after updating to R2AA10
Hello,
I have the same problem with the Htc Touch Diamond after updating to the latest official ROM:
ROM: 2.03.483.1 FRE
Radio: 1.09.25.23
Protocol: 52.51.25.26H
Windows Mobile 6.1 build 20764.1.4.3
I think it might be due to some bug in a power saving feature...
Has anyone got a solution?
I have a part solution
it happens on the SPB panel for me, its the 4th panel for me also.
if yours it the 4th panel too then try moving the panel to another place.
if that doesnt work then i know this deffo works as iv used it, goto the today panel, leave it there for a few minutes (10-20) then go back to the panel which has got the bug, you will notice the time will be in sync and the problem goes away. It happens from time to time, sometimes weeks apart so as much as its a pain, i can live with it. I dont know if it affects the alarm when the time stops.
I have the same problem with the clock. Was looking for a solution here and found this topic. Funny thing is, I have also the spb mobile shell panel and it is on the 2nd place. I will try the trick of safdl and hope that the problem will solved. And about the alarm, freezing of the clock doesn't effect the alarm.

The same problem here with an HTC Diamond Touch... however it looks very random to me. Any solution or clue about what is happening?
I solved this
My Touch Diamond had the same problem : the clock was never right. so I downloaded the advanced configuration tool and turned on every single power management option and it seems to have fixed it. hope it will work for you too.
I tried this one. But it's not WORK!!!! HELP!!!

How to disable auto turn-on when connecting usb-cable?

Hi!
Is it possible to disable automatic turn-on of the TD2 when I connect the usb-cable?
Background: I'm using the TD2 on my bike with a dynamoo-charger. Everytime the charger begins to charge ~17km/h my TD2 turns on and I have to turn it off by hand. That is not very comfotable ... ;-)
I hope someone here as a suggestion to solve this little problem.
Greets,
geordy
I would suggest a profile manager such as G-Profile.
You can configure your power settings for time of day, cell tower location, etc.
I know I have seen this option in one of the configuration apps but couldn't find it in Advanced Config or TD2 Tools.
I also searched the registry and was not able to find anything for power except in my G-Profile registry.
This ist not the answer wanted ;-)
I bought G-Profile a while ago but last version I tried drained my battery in one night.
Will try an actual version.
Thank you!

[Q] GPS usage crashes phone

Hi,
every time I use GPS Navigation, it crashes my phone. It does not do this during navigation, but afterwards, about 2-10 minutes after terminating the GPS application and the GPS sensor.
Usually the phone is quite warm then. I cannot shut down the phone with power + sound up. I can only pull the battery.
This happened on stock 10B, 10C and numerous CM nightlies.
It happened with Google Maps Navigation and Navigon.
Anyone else having the same issues? Would you think it could be the April Baseband or rather the hardware itself. I tend to say it should not be the ROM.
Thanks for any help!
Solution
Just in case anyone has the same issues: updating to the May Baseband solved my issues.

GPS problem

I have a problem with GPS. Rarely finds satellites and loses them. I noticed the problem after the installation of the update from 1 January.
Has anyone noticed similar problems on their device?
This is really annoying. Especially when it comes to navigation.
I'll add that I've already removed the case and it didn't help anything.
Greets.
I second this. I have the same issue w/ my GPS.
The problem has solved itself. I don't know how, but everything has returned to normal.
I have the same problem after Oreo update. Then a new update came and the problem stoped for a while, but now it's back!
Does anyone have a solution or workaround?
Same here...
