I've just read , that when you get your X1 and register it. You will get a free SDHC 4GB card with the movie Hancoc in it.
Is this true?? I don't know if the phone has been released.
I hear from many ppl that it has been released... so.....
My dad is now in Dubai, and planning to get one for me.
There's one store (NetOnNet) here in Sweden which states that X1 will be shipped with a 4GB memory card. So I guess it's true for some stores. I've also seen X1 bundled with the movie Hancock.
The X1 always come with an 4gb micro SDHC card. The first x thousands come with Hancock on the memmory card.. don't remember how many they said.
However, not all stores have versions with Hancock on. I didn't get Hancock on mine but there is a trailer for the new Bond movie on all phones.

All comes with 4GB memory card. First ones also comes with additional 1GB card with Hancock on it
So there should not be a video playback bug like the Kaiser??
I just received a card by mail. It is 4gb with Hancock movie and couple of trailers. Quality is amazing. Movie is only ~350MB. Some soft to auto play it is also on the card. Neat thing.
Of course I have allready 8GB so I figured I will copy this movie to my card. But, of course it is protected so it will not work on the other card (some .mo extension). Trailers are also protected, yep, this is something I do not get.
For me it is a fail. I would use this 4GB card if I wouldn not have to wait two weeks for it.
BTW: T-mobile NL.
My X1 didn't come with any SD card.
Do we need to register on the website with IMEI number in order to get the SD card?
Edit: I bought my X1 from handtec.
I was one of the first to get the X1 from my local Vodafone store and asked about any extras or SD cards but they said there isn't one.
Can any-one actually confirm if there is one given when you register phone - PLEASE
Mine's from the Philippines, sony ericsson sim free yep I got a transcend 4G microSD I dunno what SDHC stands for. no hancock only uh quantum of solace trailer on the phone memory.

mine is simfree as well. But i didn't get any SD
Mine is from UK with o2. I got a 4gb sdhc card with the bond trailers.
That is sooooo uncool My X1 also didn't come with an microSD card. How can we get them
ive not seen anything about anyone with a vfuk x1 having one..
My one came with a 4GB microSD with a Bond trailer as well.
It seems that the simlock free one's don't come with a microSD card...
Purchased mine in Germany, no card, only bond trailer on main memory
Mine's unlocked. Came with a 4 gig card. No movie though although not 100% on that one cards at work....
I got mine unlocked, came with a 4gb card and a Bond trailer.

Hey i am been searching the forums for about a week. I am still not sure if the 8GB microSDHC Card - Class 4 by SandDisk will work with the AT&T Tilt. When i went to the AT&T store they said it only goes up to 4gb. Can anyone Confirm that the 8gb work with the phone or not?
Many users on this board have that particular microSD card and it works for them. I don't have one yet and I'm still at 512mb But As soon as I get 50 dollars, I'm getting it for sure.
I use a 8GB microsd from san disk, no problem... guys at the AT&T store dunno wtf they are talkin about, the tilt is capable of handeling 32gb, but those cards arent out yet... go ahead and get the 8gb card....

16GB will work, my phone came with one this size.

Hi the cheapest i have found atm are from CEX in the uk, they are £22 and are guarenteed for a year.

that's a self punishing way of action... sorry, but I couldn't endulge in that one.
Bought from ebay, arrived from new zealand for 33€ total expense, tested the whole 14.84GB real capacity with linux and dd, plus copying back to harddisk after that, and was fine, 7.5MB/s write, 7MB/s read with internal SD reader of my laptop and SD adapter.

Don't remember... just search "microsd 16gb" and check the cheapest one to sell them.
Or, look at the feedbacks left by my nick on ebay
have a 16gb microsd class 6 from a-data, love it. not sure if waiting for 32gb will be worth it, since we still don't know what the prices will be or when it will be available.

It's still certain they will be significantly more than twice the 16gb ones.
32gb SD are out since a while, and they still have outrageous prices, so go figure what will happen with microsd's

eheh, nice avatar, I can recognize a dragonball from my CO2 days. Botting in adv zone got me 2-3 of them
Anyway, my sandisk microsd is a class2 one, but as in my previous post, transferring its whole capacity back and forth from hard disk with the internal reader of my laptop, I got 7.5m/s write and 7m/s read...

hey well i have one and i have quite alot of songs (aprox. 2500) but when i hit the music tab on my hd2 it takes about 20-25 seconds for the music player to pop up. does this happen with anyone else? is there a way to fix this? thanks in advance

It's obviously loading the songs list... the builtin mp3 is just catchy eyecandy with very small configurability, I use mortplayer for my audio playback needs.
Obviously as well, if you ask HTC's support, they're gonna tell you that it's your MP3's fault, and that their software is faultless
I bought Team 16gb Class 6 and very happy with that one. Recommended.

thats not a lot of money for a card that fast nice one
I have a 32GB microsdhc card and when I format it with the Nexus it says there is a damaged sd card. When I put it in my computer, the nexus formatted the card to 2GBs and when I format it with my computer its back to 32GB.
This is a real 32GB card, I purchased it at Bestbuy and it worked perfectly in my Nokia.
Does the Nexus support this size card????
Do I have to update anything?? I'm running CM 5.8 or something like that. Should I update to CM6 then try it?

I want to know this too, their website has no mention of it and the clerk laughed at me when i asked if they had any. (he didn't know 32gb cards existed yet)
yea seriously... far as i know they only have 16gig but hey if they are i know where im going when i get paid
32gb cards have been out for a while, they have just been really expensive until recently.
i know then been out for awhile but no store really carried them or had any, you can get a 16gig sd micro for 40 so im guess you get the 32 for 80 which is still high in my book, but still cool to get one...
as said before not really been seen or had many in stock for stores, maybe we see more soon
I actually picked up one from the verizon vendors for really cheap...They run about $200 retail but I got it for a half off.
I got it working when I updated to CM6. I was probably on a older version or something. Not sure but it worked. If you want to pick up a 32GB card, ebay is cheap, I wouldn't pick up anything under $100 since its probably fake.

Was this a new SGS plastic wrapped or sealed box. I wonder if it was pre-used by someone and they forgot to remove the card when they took it back.
Any content on the SD? I would not worry overly much as long as you can register the device your covered by warrantee at any rate.
The 8GB card was a bonus.

the phone looks brand new and the sd card was in a plastic case (with an micro sd to normal size sd adapter). I bought it from an official 02 store...

Lucky you. My box says 16GB, but the phone has only 8GB internal. Bought sim-free model and the box was sealed. I was happy to see the 16GB on the box and little disappointed when I have found thee truth.

I, for one am sure that Vodafone Ireland sells SGS 8gb model with a bonus 8gb microSD card at the minute. So, this means it having or not an extra microSD card depends on your Carriers actual offer.
I just saw an amazing tutorial from xda-developers how to upgrade HTC HD7's memory from 8GB to 32GB. I have SGS I9000 8GB version. THe only one I can get from Finland where I am studying now. I cannot help to think can we do it with our SGS? Does anyone know what kind of memory is used by SGS? Thanks in advance!

Ebay not good for memory cards. Too many fakes. Find a reputable website and order. I use mymemory uk, I don't know if they ship international but I can't believe for a second that 16GB is the maximum micro sdhc card you can get online in Finland. I use a 16GB one, the 32GB still a little expensive for me.

Even if it were changeable, would you want to risk voiding the warranty on your phone? You'd be better off paying a bounty to hack the USB port to be able to accept a USB memory stick..

At least I couldn't find them on the major supermarket. But I did check from a online eletronic store. They do have them with good 120+€ post cost extra 7€ xD
