Hey!
I have an MDA Compact IV, in other words a branded HTC Touch Diamond from T-Mobile De.
The interface of this device is very ugly and the colors don't fit to the case of the Diamond. So i installed TF3D Config and changed the Theme to the original HTC one.

Another Problem is that S2U2 can be disabled by pressing the "Home" Button. All other Keys are dead exept the home button when S2U2 locks the device.
Any advice? Or an other programm?
No one any idea?
What do i make wrong that noone answers my questions?
S2U2 works ok for me? go to settings, key lock, select: do not lock buttons
as for speed theres plenty of registry tweeks, or try custom rom?

S2U2 works even good, but i can't fix that S2U2 don't block the home butten. All other parts of the tool work great. On your phone S2U2 blocks the home button as well?
And the speed hacks: Why is the ugly skin made by t-mobile so fast and the original htc skin out of this forum so slow? I just don't get it...
How can i edit the registry? I don't find a programm to make it. It's really hard for me to understand all that is written in this forum.

With the limited Hardware buttons on the diamond I find apps like HButton indispensable.
I have tweaked mine to suit the Default Diamond layout very nicely
Looks like it was meant to be like this from HTC

I'd also pick HButton IF it were possible to assign the "<--" button.
With AEButton I can do this, so sticking to that for now.

this allows you to also assign a Hbutton to the key in the buttons dialog
therefore giving to h button enabled keys (Which is excelent

Perfect completion for VoiceCommand.
Just set the "HButtonX.lnk" to toggle WLAN and rename it to "WLAN.lnk" or "WiFi.lnk"
After a soft reset you can switch on and off WiFi by starting this "App" with VoiceCommand.

I tried flashing my device with this ROM (blue silk theme) but I got stuck in the align screen.
Tried tapping the cross hairline but it does not respond.
Did a hard reset and same problem on the screen alignment portion.
Had to revert back to my previous ROM (SonBlack) and everything went well including the screen alignment portion.
Any idea/s why this happened?

Same issue here.Tried both of the versions of this rom.Stuck in the align screen.Very dissapointed because would like to try this rom.The specs are good.

Hi guys not had this problem with hima rom's but had it with a BA rom last year did a 2-3 soft resets and then it passed screen alignment portion ok, Don't know y it happens If any body knows please let me know

found the solution
I tried again to flash the rom.I stuck again in the alignment of the screen.Did a soft reset and then was able to align the screen.So now my hima is flashed with the swampy395's rom.Dont know though what caused this problem.As for the rom will try it and let u know swampy395.

FTouchFlo conflicts with screen alignment.
connect with activesync and go to \windows\startup
if theres a link to FTouchFlo delete it, soft reset and after the initial setup activate FTouchFlo with FTouchFlo config.

Tried to install the ROM again and followed Theseas' technique of doing a soft reset at screen alignment. Did not work for me. Good for you Theseas.

Hi guys had a problem with FTouchFlo in this rom It's all fixed up ENJOY swampy395
Anyone knows how to fix the Home button bug when cooking BlackStone ROM with Rhodium manila OEM packages ? The Home button actually works but instead of taking the user to the Home screen it takes to the previous state in Manila. I have seen this has been reported in various custom ROM threads and I've seen some chefs fixing this problem, however I did not find anyone sharing a solution to this bug yet. I bet it's gonna be some RGU setting I missed.. Anyone having experience with this ?

I doubt it is a reg setting alone. It is most likely a value which has to be edited from one the of the manila files as the hardware buttons are different on the rhodium. I'm trying to fix the the gsensor on/off in settings tab. The problem is the value coming from manila is it report the value of 1 for on which is correct, but reports a 2 for off which should be a 0. I don't know which manila file to edit.

I have a problem with the GSensor as well! Davide advised to switch back to original BlackStone OEM package, but that did not help at all. When launching the GSensor calibration, the waterlevel bars are frozen. Anyways, if you find a solution to that or to my Home HW button mentioned above, please share

And yes, I agree with you bobsbbq, the Topaz/Rhodium manila behaves different as the Hardware Buttons are different as well. From the attached screenshot you can see that on the Topaz device, the End key is the Home key as well! And if you cook in Topaz's manila into BlackStone ROM, it behaves the same way. While on call the end key will end the call, but on every other situation it behaves as the Home key on my BlackStone. So what we have to find is a way to redefine in manila to bring up the Home screen when the actual Blackstone's Home key (instead of the End key) is pressed

And IMHO it's much better like that...
The consequece is that in Touch HD we will have one button more which could be redirected to something else
So, instead of forcing the home button to become the "Home" button, why not forcing it to something else as the End button is already redirecting to "Home" screen.

hi, i just installed L26 V9 and the home button works for me in all but calendar, music and settings, it works with my installed apps too. the end key does it when the home button doesn't.

Does that mean that mean, if you press the HW Home button, will it take you to the Manila Home screen and not just to the previous visible manila page ?
Pls try this example: Go to "Photos and Videos" tab, and tap on any picture to see it in a slideshow, then press the HW Home button. If it takes you back to the Manila Homescreen wiht the clock and not back to the "Photos and Videos" tab instead, then our friend Laurentius found a solution to this

Yes, I did the same! I cooked in the Topaz Manila Package along with the Topaz TouchFLO3D package and my hardware buttons weren't working at all. Replacing the biotouch.dll with the one from BlackStone's OEM fixed this problem except the mentioned HW Home button bug. I agree it must be either manila's setting or the biotouch.dll itself. But my bet is, it's the manila! Since the HW buttons behaves different on Topaz and Rhodium manila. And if it is indeed manila, the remaining question is, which if the many hundreds of manila files to edit ???
hi, today i'm wondering, if i was launching my apps from homescreen/start menu. when hitting the home button would this then take me back to homescreen ? if i launch apps from anywhere/start, then hit home button, i go back to anywhere. the home button is not functioning properly.

In the Rhodium ROM, if the back key is the home key and vice versa. Can´t this be fixed quite easily?
We need to find the correct manila file that handles this. The one of the many 2105 manila files...

I once saw a thread here, and I think it used the windows mobile slide to answer and slide to ignore.
The answer slider was green
The ignore slider was red, and u slide it horizontally.
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
I find X2 dialer way too laggy (I am using stock X2), and hard to find contacts. Even the the default WM skin is faster and better.
Anyway, it was a cab file that enabled that skin, and it also changed the keypad a bit better than WM dialer.

It's not from WM built-in but HTC. Search for blackstone, Topaz, or Rhodium dialer.

I just heard from someone that WM 6.5 has slide to answer, but hwo do I activate it?

The only thing I would love to see changed (and I know exists just can't find it), is the HTC dialer but when during a call has two buttons; a big button for key pad and a big button for end call...but still it's all good and am happy with this one

my problem: kaiser with original french ROM wm6.1 in landscape mode does not show any word of menus (like copy, cut, file, etc....) instead of this there is only blank spaces in menu and this with or without sliding the keyboard
