Thanks ~ but which version of Pqzii is functional on X1 ? The WM6 one is ok or hermes , Tero... etc

http://www.nicque.com/PQz/PQzII.htm
Just try it ...
Since Raphael is very similar to the Xperia I would recommend testing this first.

The Raphael-one did work too I remember but the Hardwarekeyboard on the Raphael is un-normal mapped.
So I tried the WM6 Version and it works nicely.

How about the 'au' key .. ?

Why does PQzII work for you?!? I tried the WM6 Version and it didn't show anything but a tiny white square on the startbutton, then when I tried to get it closed my phone shut itself down. I've uninstalled it right away. Thought about the other versions, but don't wanna risk anything. WHat do you suggest? How'd you get it to work?

yess actually i was also wondering of the fact that if it is possible 2 CONFIGURE the "au" key to CTRL key, coz we do need the tab key in MS WORD !!!

"Searh" is your friend.

I use Resco Keyboard Pro (Screen Keyboard, I don't know if it works on the hardware keyboard as I have an Alpine, you can set a secondary the keyboard language, and just press a key on keyboard and you can swap to a Norweigan keyboard, I know cause I have a sister in Norway.
Download demo from here to try out.
www.resco.com
So it can also remap the hardware keyboard?
-John
No, you allready have it. Pres 'a' or 'o' button, then doublepres dot button. After that pres space for as manu times than 'a' becomes 'ä'. Enjoy!
Is there not a faster way? Like a registry hack that would give "ä" when pressing "a" twice very fast? I think that would be a lot faster method - doubleclicking "a" rapidly to get "ä".
Could this be done with a registry editor?

Hej! How do you make this characters with Swedish ROM? I don't have it here, so can't say. Do you know?
The other way is to install Aekmap and remap buttons according to the way you want them to (ae.inc.ru)

I tried Aekmap but I just couldn't customize it. The menu was hard to use, is there a help file somewhere?
PS. Also, I can't see any scandinavian letters on the Full Screen Keyboard.
I don't know why everything has to be so hard with these Win CE devices, I never had problems finding easy to use programs for my Palm devices...

I use SPB Keyboard Pro, you can set a secondary the keyboard language, and just press a key on keyboard and you have your characters, I know cause I have a sister in Norway. In fact I use a lot of their software, which has improved the WM2003 no end.

Well, in order to make it work you have to read an AEC FORMAT section at Aekmap page.
You may contact me via ICQ or by PM and I will explain you in details if the web-site doesn't give you a clue.
Solution to get scandinavian characters (å, ä ö)
This is the most simple way to get scandinavian/Swedish charset on your device.
Hardkeyboard:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/HTC_Wizard/Misc/Swedish hardkeyboard fix.zip
(Source:http://www.smartmobile.se/)
Softkeyboard:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/HTC_Wizard/Misc/Scandinavian softkeyboard.zip
(Source:http://www.epocket.no/tastatur/)
No tweaking needed.
Have a nice day!
Hi, resurrecting an old thread... I just got a new HTC Wizard and I can't get the softkeyboard from http://www.epocket.no/tastatur/ to work.
I installed it, and it shows up on the Remove Programs menu but I can't use it... I mean; I can't find the program anywhere and the softkeyboard looks the same as before.

remap Hardkeys not working !

Hello, me again,
is there any possibility to use all the hardkeys on the diamond ?
In the settings, keys, there is only button 1 (hold) shown, nothing else.
I tried several hardreset up to now, i tried not to install touchflo i tried abbuttonplus. Every time the same, only ONE button is customizable !
Is this due to HTC branded the windows mob6 ?
THX,

Try AE Button Plus
Hi Kareem,
as i wrote i already tried AEbuttonplus and i can see only the same one button its button 1 (hold). I think its locked by HTC. It is the O2 XDA ! Has anyone else the same problem? Is it possible that the only way is to flash another rom ?

AE button plus doesn't changer the default mode of setting buttons.
It has its own settings dialog. It worked for me.
Read instructions!!!
Does HButton 2.3 also work ... anyone tried that?
Hallo again,
is this topic already solved ?
I cant understand that nobody has the same problem?
Is the fact that i cant use MY OWN BOUGHT buttons as i want it, to normal for anybody ?
Im confused,
THX

It is not solved for me.
All I want is for my HOME button to bring up the Start Menu. This was easy to do in the pocket pcs I used to own. Surely there must be a way to do this on the Diamond?

Fuze Keyboard doesn't work with TomTom 6

Has anyone else seen this problem? I installed TomTom 6 on an ATT Fuze, and the hardware keyboard only types the letter A with an accent on it no matter what buttons I press. The Kaiser's keyboard seems to work fine with TomTom 6, but nothing I do with the Fuze will get the hardware keyboard to work.
I would be happy to upgrade to TomTom 7, but they don't sell it in North America and they don't sell maps for it either.
TomTom 7 on my Fuse does a similar thing. It types in the correct character, followed by an ä. Keyboard works, I just have to hit backspace after every letter.
Yes, same here, very annoying ! (version 6). Is there any fix or something for it?
I have Tom Tom 7.450 and have the same problem as Fallon if any one has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Your welcome.
I use SlideActions to switch KforTouchPro on and off; only when the keyboard is slide out the M$ driver is active, in portrait mode (witch of course means the hardware keyboard isn't available) the xT9 is active. Best of both worlds.
And for others, it isn't only TomTom, but iGO8 and Citrix (and there must be many more apps) suffer from this 'bug' and KforTouchPro solves that.
Cheers,

Hi Cacti,
I have a problem. Once the KforTouchPro is started, isn't possible to install any software. If I make a soft reset, then is possible to install. Is there a solution ?
Where can I find the procedure to configure the slide action?
Yes I'm agree, there are a some software that have problem with the hardware keyboard.

I found SlideAction, but I'm unsure on how to set it up so when I open the keyboard, it actives the M$ driver and when it closes, to stop the program. Can you help us newbies with regards to that set up?

Tilt Keyboard Jumbled!

I just recently flashed to Duttty's WM6.1 ROM and love it.
But there is a problem that i found.
The slide out keyboard doesn't work properly.
The normal white keys and Shift keys work fine, but the blue "Fn" keys are jumbled.
For instance, when i press Fn and then try to enter a "!" it shows a "@" or when i try to enter "&" it shows "="
What happened? i've done a hard reset and flashed it all over again and still have the same problem.
Is this a keyboard driver issue?
How can this be resolved?
Thanks.
You have a Tilt.
You need to install the Tilt Keyboard Fix.

Hi Prosasan.
Try this. It works for me.
I have another CAB with danish hardkeys too, but I can't find it right now. Will upload later.
Both are working fine in WM6.5 ROMs
There you go.
The CAB obviously isn't made by me.

Hope it helps.

No problem.
The Scandinavia keyboard is pretty much similar to the standard keyboard in (lack of) design.
I downloaded a trialversion of Resco Keyboard, as I had hoped it would work too. It doesn't, at least not on my device. Probably some WM6.5 incompatibility...
Good luck.
:S
it didn't work either :S, what can i do :?
@ Prosasan
How about this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501407
It works great for me.
PS: Remember to get the fix for correct QVGA danish keys in post #291, courtesy of Weblance.
