help me pls..about X1 Flash with Storage Card

my X1 already flash Hard SPL V1.00
now SPL version is SPL-0.72.01iNex
i copy there image files with name Kovsimg.nbh
but then i wan to flash
i show no image files...
can some ppl help solution ? thank~~

Are you sure you put the kovsimg file in the root of your storage card?
Then hold down volume button down and poweron until the rainbow colors shows?

Are you using a Kingston (or other brand) microSD card?
You need a SanDisk microSD card.

Trying to flash from internal memory card... Please help!

Hey so I am flashing my friends phone and I did all the steps to flash from internal memory but it wont go it just goes thru a couple screens in bootloader mode then just goes back to the main screen with cmonex on it... is there a format that the memory needs to be in? I tried to format it into fat32... but still no luck! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Did you make sure to unlock the security (Hard-SPL)

the card def has to be FAT32. be sure you have it named properly. DIAMIMG.nbh & that its in the root of the sd card. also you may want to try a 2gb or smaller card if perhaps you are trying this on a 8gb or 16gb card. GL

make sure to unlock the phones security and that the file is put in the root of the card and name correctly.

You may be confusing the OP, as the Diamond does not have an external card slot. 4 gb internal only. Is the phone Unlocked, as it sounds like it may not be??

Phone must be unlocked... ROM file must be placed on the ROOT of the internal storage... ROM image MUST be named "DIAMIMG", do not bother adding ".nbh" to the file name, or it will mess up the file.... the file extension is already an nbh and may not show that in the phone's file explorer.
If you're doing all of that, and the ROM is a Diamond specific ROM and not a Touch Pro ROM, it should be fine.

No image file !

hello all ! i have a problem with my xperia x1 . when i try to update my xperia to wm 6.5 , it shows No image file ! any help please,

Happens to me if i try flash from MicroSD.
If i try flash with an 8GB Samsung (Class 6) card, i get that error.
If i use my 1GB MicroSD card with the .IMG file, it flashes fine.
I always use the USB method though, flashes perfectly all the time

try formatting your microsd card as a FAT or FAT32 file system.
before placing the img onto your card.

I tryed usb method! When all done, my MS 8GB died!

i format my micro sd in fat 32 , it's work , but it's shows "loading" and he stop there ! what i must to do ?? please ? excuse 4 my bad english

Maybe is problem with .nbh file. Some error during download. Try to download it again and than flash new file.

Try to do with Rom Update Utility!

SO I used the software one.... via USB... it worked... but I would like if all I need is the SD card... So that it can work on it's own...
I feel like a serious problem might happen and brick the phone... lol

rename (ruu_signed.nbh) to (Kovsimg.nbh)

So, here is how to flash new ROM with SD card :
0. Make HardSPL on device
1. Download ROM you want
2. Format SD card in PC with FAT32
3. Copy .nbh file on root of your EMPTY SD card
4. Rename .nbh file on card. It MUST be Kovsimg.nbh
5. Turn off your device and put SD card in. (it woud be good if battery is >50% full)
6. Press and hold Vol down and Power key until you see 3 color screen. Than release keys
7. Follow on screen instructions
8. After flashing is over, HARD RESET device.
9. After hard reset, SOFT RESET
Voila, enjoy your new ROM!
(steps 7 and 8 are here to be sure that every thing is in it's place)
(Take NO responsibility for bricked device )

U just use Check Disk Local in PC scaning micro sd whit connect USB (remember tick: Automaticcally fix file....) > OK

reformat ur card with fat32 and choose the largest available file allocation unit size when you format (it should be 32k....)

Can anyone tell me how to copy .nbh file to root of SDcard pls? I click on kovsimg.nbh file than copy than i click in my computer to my portal device than right click on storage card and paste.But in boot menu still no image find :s . can anyone explain me how to copy in root of SDcard pls?

when you connect your phone to the PC check choose connect type "Disk Drive" instead of "ActiveSync"
now you will see the sd card as a separate folder in your explorer/total commander/file manager and can easily organize/copy/move files and folders on the card and between PC and phone w/o any format conversion (that you suffer when copying files in activesync mode)

I tryed to install the (remove windows mobile and install android 2.3.7) i followed all the steps and i got to the recovery menu,and when i go to instal zip from sdcard go to chose zip from sd card and it says cant mount from sd card...i put the rom and the gapps and the KOVSIMG.NBH on the root for the sd card i dont know what s the problem or can anyone tell me how i can getmy windows mobile back?? thx in advance.

Sorry to hear it did'nt work..installed fine on my phone..
1. Is the memory card formatted to FAT32? if not, reformat the card to FAT32 and replace the files on it and retry
2. Are you sure you're not trying to install GAPPS before Android? it does come first in the list in recovery
3. To go back to windows mobile, you need to download a windows mobile ROM from the forums, go into the bootloader menu (power button and volume down button) connect to USB and TASK29 the phone again, then place the windows mobile file named KOVSIMG.NBH (rename if necessary) and install as you did to put on the LK Bootloader
