Reports are that it only really works reasonably well if it is cooked into a rom. Try L26 or Anril´s roms that are in the ROMs section.
If you use the former you´ll need to install an excellent little tool by JeckyllHyde called TF3D Standby, which will ensure your phone can enter standby (the drivers needed for TF3D to work prevents this).

Heh heh, that's my video. balleklorin75 is correct, however I am using MBarvian's Solace ROM and have TF3D installed on it. I do use TF3D Standby, as well. Otherwise the phone goes batty when you try and put it into standby.

I don't use MSN. I'll see if I have the .cab laying around somewhere on my laptop, along with the .cabs for the music and album. It's not really ready for everyday use, but it's fun to play with.

It's a bit laggy. That said, if we could get around the standby issue I'd use it as my default interface. I don't because it's so annoying to have to turn it off and on along with the phone, everytime.

You're probably better off going that route, as Manila 2D is much faster and easier to manipulate, just not as flashy.
TF3D was never really ready for prime time, it was just fun to fiddle with; but if you want, I'll find the cabs that you'd need for it. It is fun to turn off M2D and fire up TF3D every now and again just to show it off to someone, but it can't be reliably used as an everyday interface.

Check out this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337898 for software recommendations from other XDA members, however it depends on how you use your phone...gamming, business, video, music etc.......Also like dzelaya18 said in the post above yours, touchflo 3d is still being developed (i think) and requires a reset several times a day and is still very laggy...I would reframe from using it and go with Touchflo2....it is very nice and is included on almost every Rom in the Rom section...go there..I use Hyperdragon and PDA, both are good....
@dzelaya18 see what you started with your youtube video...ur famous...LOL...

Touch flo 3d for tilt
hope fully you should get it here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kaiser..........................

I was running the L26 ROM (which has touchflo3d built in) and I think that its good enough to use on a daily basis. Just so long as you remap the ptt button to toggle manilla on or off. I wouldn't use touchflo3D as a cab because I think that is too slow for everyday use. Well anyways if you wana try the ROM out for yourself its right here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=436446

[What to install] Just got new Tilt 8925

Just upgraded my phone from Treo 750 to the New AT&T Tilt. It is a new company phone fresh out of the box with a 4gb memory card.
I turn to you for guidance on how to get the most out of this phone.
What are the must haves?
What Rom and Radio?
etc
Thanks in advance.
you need to hardspl your phone first, and then you can start flashing. there's a few different rom available, and everyone has their own preferences. my advise, read read read, and then read some more.
Well, i must say you came to the right place. But you're asking the wrong question my friend. All i can say to you is READ. You will learn there is soo much info on this site that it will take you at least a month to narrow down your own decisions on what you want/need. Everyone on here has a different preferance for what they want/need. I'm not going to flame you, because you don't deserve it . . . . YET Just do what we all do and have been doing ever since we came in contact with our 8125/8525/8925 . . . . READ. Start with the Wiki, and then start reading up around the forums as for what is avalible for you to @#$% around with. Have fun, and trust me , YOU WILL!!!
Welcome!
Read... and read some more. It's really a matter of taste. I'd start simple with things that won't break your phone, but once you find out how to flash that won't last long. If you don't want to flash I recommend pulling your battery before the device customization on first boot. If you've already passed the point you can hard-reset by pushing both soft keys and resetting with the stylus. Pull your battery when your device says "Device will customize in 3 seconds..." and all of the ATT bloatware will be gone!
Just a few things to remember.

Phone is awesome. Yeah it does have a big drawback in the 3D rendering department, but, hopefully, we will solve this in future somehow. Besides, there's no perfect phone.
I just wanted to recommend u to try out iGo MyWay Plus 2006 for GPS software. I think it's the best, and I've tried many.
Definitely install KaiserTweak.. and if you're into games, I'd recommend games by company called MoreGames, they have some awesome stuff.
Oh and get a CorePlayer QTV for video.

What about iGO 2007?
Must have freeware and apps (for me anyway) with no flashing
Google maps
Windows live
PCM keyboard
HTC Enlarge Start Menu
IE Slow scroll fix
Mini opera and Opera mobile
TCPMP (with plugins such as Flv and WMV plugin)
HTC Dialer
Duttythroy 1 calc
I personally prefer to keep the natural look of my MDA Vario III but do like some of the apps originally found on the cooked ROM's

What is the "Kaiser Tweak"?
I'll be in your position soon. Getting Tilt within next two weeks. I've already been reading trying to catch up and focus on wants/needs. I love the I phone look alikes, but so many to choose from...need the best close to Iphone theme. lol!
I use TouchPal for my one handed keyboard. Love it, but it took some getting used to.
I still often pop out the keyboard since I moved my instant messaging entirely to my phone and sometimes will have long conversations. I also flip open the keyboard when taking notes and whatnot.

Can a Trinity have TFLO?

Anyone know if Trinity can have TFLO working on it?
I imagine it would need a ROM upgrade. Anyone done this? Is it recommended?
I use my device a lot now in the car for satnav, so I'm looking for a way to make it as "finger" useable as possible.
Any other recommendations to make my Trinity finger friendly, I'd be most grateful. I already have spb mobile shell, which helps, but the scrolling feature doesn't work (which as far as I have read is a common problem with HTC phones).
Thanks,
Mattster.
Touchflo certainly does work on the Trinity.
I have flashed my Dopod D810 with Akeo's black 6.1 ROM and it has Touchflo.
I works well from what I could tell. I don't use it, preferring to use the stylus for a lot of things.
The ROM is very very good and well worth trying.

Hi Andych,
Thanks for the advice.
I tried that ROM (first time I've ever changed the ROM!) but it was way too complicated looking for my tastes. Gave me a chance to see what I was missing though, so thanks!
I'm boringly happy with my spb software. Simple but very practical, and that's what I need.
I did have to find a new ROM though, so I settled on "MARY v3.7 Super Lite" which has actually sorted an issue I had with the Today screen flashing up mid program.
BUT!!!!! I lost my Tomtom subscription to Speed Cameras AND my John Cleese Voice!!!
Is it true then that everytime you cahnge a ROM the device number changes, and therefore you lose e.g. Tomtom software that is reistered to the old device???
Hmm.... me thinks I should look that up in the forum later as all Tomtom said I could do was set up a new Tomtom account with the new device number and buy the software again! Damn!!!

SPB Mobile Shell does not have finger-scrolling, only animatin to swap screens. You need SPB Pocket Plus 4 for that.
Touch Flo and all variations are available in a lot of roms here in the Trinity forum. You should have read/searched a bit before asking this question, because there are already a lot of topics on this.
Good luck with the rom!

Hi.
Yes, I meant SPB Pocket Plus 4.0, my mistake, and it's sorted now thanks.
As for the advice to "read/search a bit before asking this question, because there are already a lot of topics on this".... that made me laugh out loud as I spent all weekend researching the problem in xda and in spbclub forums. There are pages and pages and pages out there with people going crazy, Touchflo devices being the main problem. Thanks for trying to help though.

Last time I ask.... time for a new phone : (

I've asked this a few times but to no avail. It's not anyone's problem but mine but I don't know how to fix it.
I've only done two mods to the phone.
The disabling of the auto-attach.
And the Boost TFL3D Performance mod#1 on the mod list.
My problem is simple.
The phone lags....
For example, when you click the people icon and then click your contact list, the damn phone takes forever to pull up on the screen.
The reason I sold my Touch Cruise is because this phone had a faster processor.
Please, can anyone tell me how to increase the speed of this slow azz phone?
If I can't do anything about it, I'm buying an iphone or something else.
Thanks much,
Mark
Certainly the best way to speed up the phone is to flash a custom ROM to it. There are many out there that are MUCH faster than the stock ROMs. I highly recommend Dutty's V1.2 rom, but there are certainly others.
Marky Marky Read read mate first
I have owned most HTC phones and after tweaking this is my fave and fastest so far...
Firstly what what ROM version are you using?
First post. Glad to meet u all.
I had official Vodafone spanish ROM until yesterday. My last phone was a QTEK s100, so no Wireless, no GPS, no Gsensor, no light sensor, no WM6.1, but it was fine, speed was OK. Diamond had poor speed compared to S100.
I flashed with the new official ROM from HTC and it seems a new phone. Try it.

Cool, I highly recommend flashing to Duttys ROM 1.2 at the Mo 1.3 should be with us in the next few days - I understand your frustration m8. I have been using these toys for years and they always need tweaking (but thats become half the fun)
What I will say is that you will se significant increases in speed from 1.37 which in honesty I thought was ****e and bug ridden so no surprises at your dissapointment. We are still a little way away from the perfect ROM but every time gets closer - rest assured. I think you will be pleasantly surprised after flashing to Duttys.
If you need anything else just shout shout.
NB. enable all the power management functions in schapps config and your battery will also last a hell of alot longer.

Okay so whats the solution for the stock exchange app then? There isnt one.
There are no damn apps being developed anymore for WM especially on high end VGA devices.
I too would like a decent stock exch app.. if im moaning over nothing, point me in the right direction and i'd gladly shut up
Well it wasn't a good app.I better just wait for a better app to come a long.

I can only see about 1/2 of the cells vertically. I guess it only works if you reduce your text size in windows... but then the phone itsn't finger friendly anymore.
yes,i also have that problem.
Try this:

I used on my Kaiser and use in my Diamond...
Works perfect.
It has only one issue...
SOmetimes, when you starts the program, there is a fade on the screen... But you have only to press the power button twice and the programs goes well...
Would be great if HTC Home has a tab for stock exchange and share price update. HTC did it for weather, why stop there. Stock price should be next.
Yes,i agree. Hopfully a application that will work perfectly with the TouchFLO 3D.
Stock App Think Anywhare
I use Think Anywhere from Think Or Swim, its pretty cool, but is more than just quotes, Its a whole trading platform. Need subscription, but no deposit requiredment. You can do Paper trading with it.

I've used it...looks just like the iPhone app and it's easy to use and works well and was written for VGA

HTC Home Customizer for VGA version?

It would be wonderful if someone could tell me if it exists, or if not possibly, oh I dunno, make it? I'd love you forever.
Or a VGA version of HTCHome that works with HHC. Either one. The one I have now looks wonderful, but doesn't work with HHC. So sad.

This was a thread yesterday. READ AND SEARCH. HTC Home2 works with VGA! HHC works with it. This is what I use on my fuze--Both work! Disable TF3D or use Da_G's ROM.

me too.
I installed an HTC Home2 plugin, but it dosen't fit the whole screen. It is almost at the upper quarter of the screen. Strange ?
Okay, I give up.. Here's what I use...
If it doesn't work, I don't know, I'm not that good. It works for my fuze. That's all I know. HHCv10Final does customize this version of HTC home2, although a little quirky. I also use HTC default theme on my main storage card file for the gray.
Thanks for the link.
1- First, It installs well, the plug-in has the right size.
2- But, when i want to select contact or programs, it fails. A window says : "GWES has wrong" or "HTC... has wrong".
3- I must use HHC to change the language of the Home to french (the language of my rom) to make it works.
Then it works quite great. Icons are not VGA ones, but...
When I log press on a contact it shows me a white windows instead of contact details.
That are the only bugs I found. This plugin isn't as nice as touchflow3d but is more convenient and quicker.
I've been "reading and searching" for about a week now. I tried HTCHome 2 and I couldn't find a VGA compatible one. I found this version of HTCHome that works very well by reading and searching, actually. But as far as I know, it's not compatible with HHC. I'm using Da_G's ROM also. Sorry to post and ask questions and attempt to find an answer to my question, but I haven't found anything yet, and I believe that the purpose of a forum is discussion and asking questions. I might be wrong, but that's what I always thought.

I had to search for all my stuff. If I can do it, you can do it, also. HTC home2 works with HHC for me (and I gave you the cab off my Storage card), and does everything I need and/or want for me. I tried to help you with what works for me. I really hope you find what you're looking for, including Audio Manager, which I don't use.......
