[Theme] More Vintage Less War RC33 V1.41/V1.42 and ADP1.1 V1.41

This is another vintage type theme done by me,i did a lot of work but i still have a bunch of things i will be doing with this theme.
Instructions:
1.First install a fresh copy of V1.41 RC30 (NO WIPE) if you want to wipe do it before installing V1.41 RC30.
2.Next copy the theme renamed update to your S.D.
3.Now turn the phone off and hold Home+Power until the boot comes up.
4.Last install the theme by pressing Alt+S and once its done press Home+Back to restart
5.The theme should be installed and looking good.

Love the theme. I used the other one before the jf update with no problems. I'm getting stuck on the loop when I reboot. I was able to flash other themes but for some reason this one won't work for me. Do you think I need to do a wipe before i flash? Sorry if I missed any special intructions for this theme

non at all, never have had issues.
Have you ever experimented with different fonts?
and i love how the lil android dude raises his arm. hahaha.

lol....I love that part to i thought it was funny.
I have played with fonts but how i did it was i edited JF V1.31 and added my theme as default and a font but i am not to sure how to add them to themes.
Hey i just posted a tweak version where i changed the call log phones they where pink and blue and bothering my life so i changed them. The V1.1 final is coming tonight it wont be to much different but it will have a few key parts.

Cool, great work as always man! btw the reason i couldnt put vintage war theme on g1 without getting past boot is i had too much stuff installed. Wiped browser and market cache and uninstalled a bunch of apps and it worked great!

I'm glad to see you got it working once and for all.

[Widgets] Manups_Hero_Widgets =)

Here are the setting widgets from the hero build which was not as easy as just porting because all HTC images are index an brightness and ringer are not even in HERO. I made these even if they look just like the real HERO widgets enjoy,and if anyone thinks what i am saying i false prove me wrong.

Also, how did you edit "indexed" png's? Some of the ones I've opened up, get screwed up before I can even change it to RGB in photoshop.

Easy install using adb
I love this batch file, people may find it usefull.. I cant remember whos it was so cant give credit where its due..
Put this text in a batch file and name it (whatever).bat
Put the batch file in the folder where all your apk's (all manups apks) are.. Then double click the batch file....
adb remount

You can use them for your theme of course,and index images get distroyed when opened in PS everytime. The`reason they do this is to save space and also to stop us from editing images only the first G1 builds had all reg .png now to get reg .png you need the source. This is why i had to re-create these and brightness and ringer are not even in HERO so it was a little tricky.

Now I tried something to change.
I made a theme, that is almost original with light changes
- I've changed the Icons colours in the statusbar
- the pressed button animation
- the highlighting
- little more features (very little)
- bootscreen taken from Kendong2 under permission

At the moment my time is a little bit critical, because of work (Opel launches the new Astra in Germany...theres many to do for me)
If you can wait a bit, I can try it out.
It's not so difficult, to apply changes on this files, I think.

Here, in this forum, there are a few people who did very cool themes. Everyone has it's own style and everyone has a bit more news.
We must do working together.

i have MCR 2.9 i send the zip in to sdcard then went to apply any zip file in sdcardafter it finish and restart the hero nothing changed can u tell what the problem this is the 1st time for me tring to change or install theme
i went to recovery mode and select nandroid back up before i did all this too

You put that zip file to your sd card.
Now you boot your Hero to recovery mode. Now select "update from any zip".
Select this theme and press the trackball.
Now read the question: "Do you want to install xxx, Press Home"
You press home and wait.
If it's ready, just reboot your phone.
Thats it.

Espresso | Nexus | SuperD 1.10.3 Theme.
Hello everyone. I am a graphic artist (of sorts) and I thought it may be time to through my hat into the ring. I am consistently blown away by the work here, but I am always missing something...
This is work based upon others work! At its core is Community Espresso, Enoch, and my own personal stuff mixed in. I have done little things for years now and a friend suggested I start posting them for others to use.
First, install SuperD 1.10.3 (awesome music widget!)-I suggest Black Nexus
Boot and let ROM settle for 5 minutes
Install My update file
Enjoy
This will allow you to keep your Nexus launcher and give you the dark interface of the espresso themes. Also includes custom boot image. i am thinking of making some more... YOU WILL LOVE THIS THEME!!!

I will keep this updated if there is a response to do more.
I am reworking to fix and will re-posting.

Looks nice! Wish it would come as a metamorph though, as I really like some parts but some minor details I'm not fond of (grey provider name for example, unreadable).

That's what I expected as well But it turned out like this...
Resorted to a Nandroid as also a lot of framework was overwritten that I really liked. Which was a shame, as I really dig your powercontrol widget!

I really like the theme. Everything shows up great. Only thing is that a CUBE app showed up and keeps force closing. Is this something your theme added?

THe cube that was added was for the gesture search by google. I will remove it if it is causing issues for everyone. As for Eris Users, I will see what I can do. I would tend to think that it will work with you as well.
