Run the autopatcher_v1_cli.exe on your OS-New.nb (the NB file you put in your final NBH).
The udk Kitchen might have a way to do it for you, have a look for that exe and see if anything calls it - I don't have it downloaded

Is there a way to make Storage bigger?

Is there a way to make Storage bigger?
I've an unlocked and clean Extended_ROM folder, is there a way to merger it with Storage like on Magician?
yes u can, but please be aware that by doing this, all your data in extended rom will be permanently erased. please download the file i attach with this msg and follow the instructions:
1. Copy Repart.exe to your device and launch it using file explorer on the pda.
2. Set size of Extended ROM to 128 kb
3. Press "Format now!" and wait until it is done (A few seconds). You will see a message that it is done.
Soft reset.
good luck.

Wow, great!
Now I have a Storage about 60Mb!
Thank you, imatrix!
Hi i tried it but i'm getting the following message
FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVR failed.
What should i do ?
THanks
WARNING: IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS MOBILE 2003(SE), DONT DO THIS, BECAUSE THERE MAY BE IMPORTANT FILES IN THERE STORED BY YOUR OPERATOR.
download the attachment file. install it. then go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> on your pda, then first run "unhide", then "Unlock". Do a soft reset.
hi. what could i be doing wrong?
i'm on tuma 1.3 already with only 43MB storage. is it possible to get 60MB while still in wm5?
i tried to unhide and then unlock. i'm successful in unhide, but i get an error message "FL_IOCTL_BDTL_HW_PROTECTION - The paramater is incorrect." during unlock.
so i also get a "FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVR failed" error message when i run repart.exe.
btw, i still don't understand how to go back to wm2003se, even after reading so many threads.
EDIT: i may be on the right track. i guess i need to be in wm2003se first to run the two applications, so i have to downgrade from tuma 1.3. i've downloaded the old rom, and extracted it. will go back to it later.

yes, i now understand i shouldn't use the ExtROM tools in wm2003.
haven't done the downgrade. what do i do now when i'm still in wm5? i still get the error message when i click on "unlock".
if u read up there is a file name xda-developers_Unlocker.CAB which u can download, follow instruction to unlock and unhide the ext_rom then u can re-partition your ext_rom
Cool, so you can reformat in WM5? I thought I had to downgrade... that is if I am reading these post correctly.
afer resizing, u should do a hard-reset to make sure everything running smooth.
i still couldn't use the xda-developers_Unlocker.CAB in wm5 because of the error message when i choose unlock (though unhide worked fine).
i had to downgrade to wm2003se (i completely understand how to do the downgrade now  ).
i'm now a happy camper with tuma 1.3, radio 1.15 and 60MB storage

you still have to unhide the ExtROM manually, and sadly, I haven't quite worked out certificate deployment, so you need to use Security Configuration Manager to drop the developer certificates onto your device.

I've unhide my Trinity. But after I run the patch, I can't see my extrom anymore. I can't unhide it again...
ok, sorry guys, I forgot to sign the dll... I'll do it later.
you STILL have to put the developer certificates on the device yourself though.

So Olipro have you signed the .dll??
yes, I've recently been indulging in the consumption of booze down the local pub, so sorry for the delay; it's done now.
Remember that you still need to provision the developer certificates onto your device yourself.
I'm afraid that the Security Configuration Manager still finds the app "Unsigned".
Any further help would be appreciated.

the application is unsigned... the dll that gets put on your phone by the app however is not.

I'm afraid that i may be a bit on the slow side but i can't make heads or tails out of this process,i've read the Hermes posts and still nothing .
If you find the time please post a step by step guide as to how the app can be signed with a privileged certificate as that seems to be the problem.

no... it's not.
the application just needs to be executed on your device, the DLL that is placed on the device needs to be signed... which I have done.
specifically, it's OEM_FLASHDRV.dll that I signed, and no, you can't view it till it's on your Trinity.
Let me tell you what i did,i ran the Security Configuration Manager, changed the configuration from locked to Security Off then pressed Provision.unhid the EXROM using Hermes_MountALLExTrom,transfered the patch to the PPC and ran it .
I got the message Extrom Patched Resetting..,i reset the device but alas no extrom.

yeah... you need to go to the Device menu to install the developer certificates.
The only things in the "file" menu are, Save connected Device Configuration,Sign File and Check File Signature.
my mistake; the Device menu.
really... couldn't people have the intelligence to actually bother looking for it.
people on this forum have now successfully exceeded the level of stupidity I've experienced on the Hermes section.

" not a valid pocket pc app"

....thats what I get alot of the time trying to install things like mem maid and skype mobile. Does anyone have any ideas on this one, do I need to unlock something to install as I don't see anyone else on the forum with the same prob. I have the T-mobile MDA if thats relevant.
Cheers.
Most probably you can't run unsigned apps.
Change the xxx101a key to dword 00000001 in security policies in the registry.
Did you download SkypeForPocketPC.exe or SkypeForPocketPC.cab ? I accidentally downloaded SkypeForPocketPC.exe the other day and got the same message. Download the .cab file instead. It's located on the same page. It says something like "For advanced users, download <link>.".
yes .exe installs for pocketpc are always ment to be run from the pc which then
use activesync to copy the cab to the phone and run it

Backing Up Rom during the buildos+package_tools phase, I get a warning

I am using Windows Vista, and I am under my Admin account. My Xperia is an X1a and I reside in the U.S..
I wanted to backup my ROM so, I followed the tutorial here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=462926
So far, trying to backup the damn ROM on my X1 has been like mind rape.
I was able to extract the raw files.
I was also able to extract the rom files from these raw files.
But I failed to proceed pass this step.
So I need some help on getting pass this step:
It'll start up the buildOS + Package tools program.
- Select the buildos tab.
- Select "load rom" and navigate to your kovskykitchen folder.
- Press ok.
Click to collapse
My problem however, is that I get these warnings (or possibly error):
Could not find file "C:\KovskyKitchen\ROM\OS.NB"
Click to collapse
But I was given a prompt telling me to ignore this requisite and continue. So I clicked on continue and got this other warning:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Click to collapse
I have attached screen shots to provide for more specific details.
The 1st image is the first warning when I Loaded Rom from the KovskyKitchen folder.
The 2nd image is the second warning when I click go.
The 3rd image is proof that I did the extraction right!
The 4th image is the screen I get for waiting hours and hours of nothing happening (after I ignored the two warnings and press continue)
Other information
1) I also tried to do it by right clicking on the buildos+package_tools-2.7 and running as administrator
2) I do not have Windows XP
3) Please help help help me! Don't indulge in my misery!!!!
Update
Updates, I just watched the video tutorials on how to back up the X1 ROM courtesy of BioVolt. Every single thing he did was the exact same things I did in backing up my ROM. Except I used SKTools for the registry changes.
What the heck is going on here?
Problem Solved... I used a different Stock ROM

Active sync.
What does the cab do?
im trying to use the auto custimization tool runcc, so i can distribute my rom with the cab built in. It changed the weather clouds a shade of blue =P
Try installing it manually and see if it works.
Also make sure that the cab file is set as read only.
manual works, ill set it as read only and retry and see what happens... Thanks.
Here is a thread related to the RunCC
See if it helps.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547372&highlight=runcc
Make sure there is no setup.dll that runs when you first install it.
