SORRY guys, I've been very sick When I was a child I had a fever, my hands felt just like two balloons, now I've got that feeling once again... but finally I removed most of my personal stuff from my PRIVATE ROM to make a SHARE VERSION FOR ALL OF YOU WHO ASKED FOR IT I was going to manage this privately with selected users but my inbox got overwhelmed with requests, so I decided "bah, let's throw it away..." PLEASE REMEMBER:
- Don't forget WM6.5 SYS-XIP comes from a BETA source, so it has some well-known SMALL bugs (as the battery icon, etc)
- Don't forget SONY R3A OEM comes from a BETA source, so it has some well-known SMALL bugs (Panel manager slow at FIRST time, etc)
- SKYPE USERS just rename SEX1 to X1i or X1a in "\windows\modelname.txt" and reboot (thanks cursor !!)

how much batt life do you get on your current radio? i am new radio 1.14.25.55 and i am not even getting thru a day of moderate usage!

After some testing there isn't much difference in batt time for me, but somehow the new radio doesn't seem a good match with wm6.5 for me?!?!?!!?
With itje's V7 the new radio is really great, but when using wm6.5 it performs a lot less.

sorry sir! on topic again........ rom sounds amazing. 1st wm6.5 rom that can be used daily without worrying what wont work next. hope sms fix is in there as it was an issue in itje rc2 build 21501

Not only the radio matters, but the RIL DLL too !!
I put the power-RIL DLL posted by fards into this ROM, so you can compare it to other WM6.5 builds and report

Yes it works, BUT loads 1000+ files in /windows/, saturates the programs memory, replaces many M$ apps and services, most of times duplicating them)
The Growing Panel's Snail is faster than TF3D

There's no "one Radio for them all" out there, so this is just the plain ROM
You can make your own Radio pick

IF you brick your phone (Brick=the phone can be used as a building brick, or maybe a paperweight? Because you cant start it up.) Its no others fault but your own.
Mainly the reason for bricking a phone is:
1. Not reading the instructions good enough
2. Not following the instructions.
3. Not having a RUU that can unbrick the phone (the official installer with the official rom for your specific phone, with your phones default language. In.ex if yu have a german phone by default, you need a german RUU, if not you will get invalid vendor error)
4. Not reading the instructions good enough..again
5. Not following the instructions...again
If you dont understand after reading CAREFULLY, then dont bother flash your device with this or any other rom.
I also recommend to use the pagepool changer found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324955
I did nothing to the pagepool, because ppl have different experience with diffrent size on the pagepool, so thats why I leave that up to you
to find the correct pagepool size for your device.

one question ( i know you aren't providing support but this is for pretty much anyone ):
how do i make it so that when i click the "launch music player" button on the music tab of the htc home app it opens up audio manager. i had no problem with this before but now (even though i have htc audio manager set as default player in biotouch settings) it will open up windows media player.
when using the biotouch cube it opens audio manager fine. so is there a registry entry i can just change quickly? i love the audio manager and use this functionality alot since my mp3 player got stolen a while back.

just to let you guys know i also had to perform a soft reset after this when i finished all the steps to get it to work.
cant help you on that (now) cause I havnt really looked into it, guess there is some settings in registry hklm/software/htc/htchome (paths is just guessing, cant remember them right now) or something like that and try find music settings
The biotouch settings dont affect the launcher in htc home, so that makes no diffrence for you w/e you choose
okay i had a feeling they wouldn't affect it but when i was using touchflo .12 after changing the settings it started to use audio manager hahaha
well i'll search the registry thanks.

I have install wm6(touch-it) on a CID lock Herald, Is ther a way to do this with this version?
if you have installed a touch-it rom before, then just follow same procedure, backup...flash official ruu (to get clean base) install aserg....blahblah

still waiting boss. any joy with kitchen? many issues with klukks rom so hope you can iron them all out in yours
if you tell me what issues there were with his rom maybe i can resolve them in mine...
My Rom should be nearly the same than his so maybe i can learn from his mistakes...

What can we expect from this rom?
You can expect 3 different Roms...
one lite one with nothing in it
a medium one with all the basic apps I need (and I think everyone needs)
and a full one with all the apps I use
lite will be the first... only OS, no panels, no 3rd party applications, nothing...
not even a background image
will all be there in the medium version
edit: at the moment I'm flashing my Rom to Test it... will also take some screenshots and give a list of the things that are included..
but for now i enjoy the sun ^^ Rom will be up in the evening

Hey Kid_DC, cant wait to flash your medium rom. I've been trying to find a good WM6.5 rom, so far all the one I tried got issues with slow scrolling through the menu. Btw, will you include youtube with it?

Have to get home for cooking the lite one because my laptop cant run the applications in the kitchen... very strange...
and i think I'll spend some time on bugfixing before i release because i read a thread in here that says stop releasing 10 minutes rom and that was what I want to do.
I'll include things and tweaks that are usefull... i think of not creating a lite one but starting with a medium one so nobody can complain theres no work to do such a rom ^^

Remember guys/girls....these rom's contain many pre-released beta components so there may be tiny glitches....I have pretty much ironed out the major glitches,many things may be fixed with final releases.But I will continue to try to fix what has been reported.

Not sure if its a bug or the sony wap site was acting up but the buttons on the default start ie page weren't going to the site, most people dont use that anyway, but needed to be said(Only in Regular ROM).
SMS\MMS issue landscape issue when switching screens....
These are already tweaked for speed....wouldn't suggest messing with the performance in Advanced configuration tool....just a suggestion....enjoy
Three things I would suggest installing are these:
Raiisak's 600k: Enables you to send bigger picture messages.
MMS Fix: Fixes the pictures coming in so small for the most part.
Enable MultiSelect for 21051 6.1 rom
TomTom voice add on, instructions for installation are included in rar.

yes yes WC release fully loaded is here. bit of an underdog as Gtrab released earlier but a worthy contender. i've been using for 2 days solid and will post what i used and how they work, what didnt work if any. please be constructive in any criticism. these roms are not released for comparison but to offer people a choice. i use and flash every rom released and use for a few days solid. flashing new roms is like a drug. best way to feed my habit is to befriend the cooks and test as much as i can. I LOVE IT!
Test Report
1. initial boot ok. copy&paste demo included
2. i normally skip time and zone setup to speed up boot as can change later using clock settings on home screen
3. batt icon link to settings bug still there
4. conn setup occurs twice but if you set up previously should just cancel 2nd one after reboot.
5. HTC black is there along with sony x1 silver and black among others
6. customised home screen okay with weather, opera, facebook, office and twitter tabs
7. IE6 works as per normal. flash vids a bit choppy but work fine if pause initial playback and let full vid load. full screen supported
8. most common apps are there including one of my faves mp3 trimmer
9. RSS hub works
10. web tv plays via WMP but i didnt actually get a picture even though it buffered and showed 'playing' status. could be my connection was problem
11. facebook works as well as skyfire
12. TomTom 7 tested and works. full gps signal but seemed slow to acquire signal 1st time round but after locked on virtually straight away
13. synced hotmail via messenger and also synced gmail. set for 2 hrs intervals and no issues yet
14. Opera is as standard. no flash in Opera on this build. aexobjects.xml need tweaking
15. Youtube standalone app not working still. error 'cannot play video' comes up. other apps youtube by google and youtubeplay work fine. youtubeplay is my personal fave after stand alone app!
16. tried iplayer stand alone app but it doesn't run and exits when loading vid. plays via tcmp or core player. had it working on diff rom and its fab. it actually downloads the vids and stores them if you wanna watch later
17. MMS works but slight delay when resizing pic to insert in message. screen blacks out. only for a sec and also wen click to send.
PHEW if i forgot anything will add later but for the apps i have used so far no major issues
Some of these may be resolved with the newest build just posted...time to beat up the rom again....thanks for the report.

only problem, please dont put touch flo scrolling or xperia scrolling in the next one,,,, winmo 6.5 scrolling engine is MUCH better than the both of them!!!
also, when i played around with the themes like u said, i ended up with the old winmo 6.1 sized items (like in file explorer,, messaging and so on..)
6.5 has much better finger friendly icons, so also please dont include any winmo 6.1 themes in the next one..

The old scrolling would have to be taken out, change the keyboard by going into sip change and selecting keyboard.

The way I had to put them into the rom makes it revert back to the same squared look as 6.1....as they did not work properly the way they innitially came in the os....so I chose to have them all work as oppposed to none of them working....

been using rom all day and yes YOUTUBE works even after reset or installing apps. high five to WC for his hard work in doing something that troubled others. sms/mms works without the fix needed previously. i have installed Showaco latest weather panel, facebook, twitter, office and opera faves. all working wihtout issues. email sync hotmail and gmail not issues. googlemaps and tomtom7 spot on with gps. excellent work guys.
ROM is banging and i love it to the hilt. WC man you rock!

Install cab....Then disable manila....hook up via activesync,
browse to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs (theres two of them) delete Settings.lnk....

while you are at it could you apply the hspa tweak (not showing "H" icon) and the internet sharing tweak (states "cannot connect - error apn").
neither of those are working right now. thanks.
i am going to apply a .cab i have for now and hope it works.
other than that this is a pretty quick rom. fastest i have used.
This is a stock upgrade nothing has been changed as far as settings..that is able to be enabled by users if they choose [email protected], there is no speed increase by enabling the H icon...its cosmetic only...and was disabled by att for some reason....the apn that may need to be manually configured....since this is an official ATT based rom and not an tp2 converted and settings arent the same.

yeah, i know the h icon is only cosmetic. but it makes me feel better.

not the best speeds i have ever gotten. but it is the best latency i have ever gotten by far....
good ROM...the most stable that i've tried. Clean, fast, no SOD...
BUT, i found using the previus date version, a memory leak in my device. The HTC photo album entirely slow down and it take several minutes to swap to next pic.
everything else is perfect!

This is sad ... the AT&T ROM has the older .NET Compact Framework and quite a few of my apps won't run on it (e.g., GPS Weather Radar).

Do you have plans to "upgrade" .NET?

After flashing it is recommended to perform a hard reset. Scroll down for version history.
Put your cab files in a folder Autoinstall on your sd card for auto installation after a flash.

I like my roms close to stock. Almost all packages got updated and a lot got fixed and tweaked

I really like stock like ROM and flash it right away, all seems good until i realize that i can't do texting (SMS), either sending or receiving message. I try my SIM card on other device, it's ok. I allready do task29 and then doing hard reset after flashing done. Does it's only happening with me? I'm flashing this ROM : Kwbr_Rhodium_1.0_C3, i hope i can use this ROM again without bugs.

No Email Problems:
- I do receive all my mail (exchange & 2 gmail accounts).
- Sending mail does also work fine over here (exchange & gmail).
SMS problem confirmed:
- Confirmed the SMS issue, doesn't work here either (not sending, not receiving)
I will try to find a fix (maybe some CAB file for classic sms?)
edit: found nothing usefull Tried disable threaded message cab, installed htc messaging client, tried, THIS fix but still no go...
- Hard reset didn't help
Let's hope the Chef will fix this bug soon. Anybody got an idea?
Conclusion for now:
After i've played 1,5 day with this rom I can say the following:
- This ROM is stable and speedy.
- Couldn't find any other bugs besides the messaging mentioned above
- Could easily multitask (email, internet, playing music, switching with arkswitch at the same time without problem or delay!)
- Compared with other ROMs this one is stable, speedy, stock.
Much like Simplicity but i prefer this one (i like it stock and "naked", no total commander or anything).
- RAM doesn't leak (in my opinion), didn't need any Freeup RAM program (watched RAM with Arkswitch)
After all my tweaks and cabs (over 30 cabs) it still has got about 60 MB of RAM.
On NRG it was about 30 and Simplicity about 45.
I did not have any freeze or SOD with this ROM so far.
I think the 23139 build is awesome
I will flash other ROMs for now (can't life without SMS) and will monitor this thread...

I really like the fact that I can flash to kwbr on my Rhodium. Tried your COM3 rom and it's great: lots of speed and space, really stable, but no sms.
I'll flash to COM2 today.

I flashed the com 2 (21914) rom and like you said there are no sms issues.
Like your blackstone roms, this is again a winner. No encountered bugs on this com build so far. Fast and responseive as ever.
For those would like to know: the used ram after installing all my apps and tweaking it for some speed and applying the lockscreen is 50%.
I installed x-task taskmanager since this rom has no upper-right corner task manager which works fine.

Hi, I don't like the HTC messaging client. If you asked me i liked it not to be cooked in. It can be easily installed by a cab file (like THIS thread).
I like ROMS stock and "naked".
But you're the chef, so you decide
Installed com 2 (21914) ROM...the best ROM i ever had try and full filled my sense, thanks a lot Sir.
I hope com 3 will be release soon..

Just downloaded COM3, so far, its working great. sms is working.

spoke too soo, sms is working but mms doesnt. i hope the chef finds a fix. but over all great rom
