Blue tooth Dial Up Client on hw6900

hi.
i have received requests from many guys, to make enable BT DUN
profiles on hw6900.
this means, connect internet via BT through cell phone like Nokia phone.
You can get connect 3G or CDMAx1 which hw6900 can not connect them.
now all english interface

Will this file work on the HP iPAQ 5915 running WM5.0? I want to do BT DUN from the 5915 using the hw6925 as the cellular modem.

hi, 5915 has widcomm BT stuck?
If so, pls check the Version of BT.
Go to BT setting, About---and then tap Advance.
You can see the Version of Stuck.
If that version was 1.7.16700 or near to this,
Hopefully it will work.
But i dont have that device, so couldnt test on that.
PLS test as on your own risk.
(If it will not work, you have to hardreset to recover,
pls make back up your date in advance)

Thanks for this BT DUN for the hw6900. I just installed it on my hw6945 and works great. But I can no longer use ActiveSync. It seems like the install affected the communication port for the USB. I continue to receive an error. "USB device not recognized" Is there a work around for this. When I hard reset it works, but when I re-install the Blue tooth dial up client it stops working. Thanks in Advance.

i didnt face to that problem cose of this patch on my device.
But i often see that problem on my another devices
in that case, pls try following way
@Start Menu--Setting--Connection
@Tap "ActiveSync Mode" icon
@Swtich to RNDIS Sync Mode or USB Serial Sync Mode
(better try both mode, and then you can find which mode can work on your device)

Hi, this may be off the topic, but I installed Mobem Mphone on my Hw6945 pda so I could send and receive SMS via the bluetooth dun. The installation went well. The problem is, it does not give me the option to select Bluetooth in the drop down menu. I could only select Serial or Infrared. Instructions says that I should select Bluetooth and then select port BTC1. Does the Bt hack not provide this option or is there something else I should do. If I select Serial I am able to select COM6 which is the outgoing BT serial port on the PDA, but I get an error that no bluetooth serial port could be found on the razr v3xx. So I assume I need to have the Bluetooth BTC1 available before I can do anything. This website shows what I am trying to get done.

I might turn out to be stupid, but I see no point in doing such a thing ? what for ? 6945 has SIM card in it and can connect to internet using GPRS, which is more than enough on such a small screen ? I fail to see the point, please, enlighten me ?

I am may be the stupid one, but I know that the hw6945 has sim card and can connect with the gprs. That also works great. I normally use my Razr V3xx for my primary phone and only use my PDA occassionly. Instead of switching the sim card everytime, I just wanted to retrieve the SMS or surf from the pda via BT using my V3xx. I just tried to do the above with Indovisi SMS and that works great, so I will just use that instead. I loved the features of mPhone better so I was trying to get that working. It probaly doesn't make much sense since the hw6900 can do it all. Thanks for your help anyways.

IRDA problem

Hi there I have problem with Infra. I tried both version of WM6 but still when I want conect or send something via IRDA my Himalaya freezes. But I have instaled NoviiRemote deluxe and it is working. Only one think I have to do is change port wehere is IRDA throught menu-preferences-IR setup-autodetect. Can somebody help me.
PS: With WM5 IRDA working properly

I use NoviiRemote Deluxe 4.11, but it doesn't work on my PDA. I don't know how to make it work on PDA

NoviiiRemote Works perfectly with my PDA i.e. xda2..u have to make it learn it ur desired remote control..just place both irdas in front of each other and press the desired button on PDA first and then on Remote..when u hear a beep voila ur done

I have another software which is connected to IR e.g Vito Osciloscope. If you have experience with this sofware, could you please comment to this software whether working or not in WM6

But It doesn't work is it working in your device ? I can install it but When I tried to receive IR radiation from TV remote control , it didn't give any signals

Thank you to give me information soon so it is clear this software doesn't work.
The idea of this software is very good for engineering. As I know, I don't see any software which have the same function like this one.

i have already post the problem as i have tried everything with phone even with hardware testing too, seems its only the software problem in this rom
i have my xdaII with broken cahrging base and cannot connect to active sync anymore now but if i want to sync my phone with irda or bluetooth phone just freeeeezzzzes........
always needs to restart again for the wireless access ...
if possible some one can help me with sync Tracks for XDA 2 so tht i can try soldering the only charging and sync track atleast....

Please use missingsync and you can syncro anywhere and everywhere...your phonebook always update and ur phone can back up too..

DIAMOND broken ....

After my diamond fell in the stairs ....
the other problem is the WiFi doesn't turn on ... i cannot make it work .. in comm manager when i turn it on it just don't turn on ... stay off ..
I have made hard reset but no luck ..
Anyone got an idea ??

You're funny: your thread title says your Diamond is broken.
Then, you tell us how it fell down the stairs and you can't make WiFi work.
What do you think we can do for you?
Your Diamond apparently needs repair, you can't repair hardware with software, so your post is pretty much pointless, sorry to say that.

Or maybe try throwing it upstairs, it might do the trick..... But do it with wifi disconnected!
(It's how I try these days to recalibrate the gsensor...)

The question is maybe someone as already disassemble it and the wifi part could be disconnected by the shock ...
Or by software .. make a sort of hardware diagnostic ..

I live in a bungalow for just that reason. However you could take a look at the Diamond service manual which is available to download from the wiki.

My wifi is reworking but with very very low signal .. i have to be very close from my routeur ...
And ...
i have the same issue with bluethoot .. i have tried tomt tom with an external sirfIII bluethot adapter and i have to put my phone at 5 cm from the dapter to get connection !!!
you don't think i have to dissassemble my diamond to check the antenna connection ..??
Is the same cable for both ?

This may have some answers for you. Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly, the Bluetooth/Wifi antenna is a combined one. If both fail, I guess it's just disconnected or the connection is severed.

[Q] messenger problem

hi tol all ;
first i had the htc hermes it was a fantastic device but had some problems regarding memory , so i purchasef the tytn II but i was dis appointed from that device ragrding the video drivers , will the hermes and the tytnII were having wm 6 , i used to log in to my messneger via windows live via my network , but when upgraded to wm 6.1 i had a problem saying that i am in a bas reception , so i bought the htc diamond but it have the same problem , but my connection is working and i can surf te net via network without any problem but when i log in via windows live through network it says bad reception as i am already connected , only works in WLAN .
can any body help me as i use this very often

Maybe your signal isn't strong enough?
Don't really understand if you have reception problems or messenger problems like you used in your subject title
Please post this in a section where it belongs. This has nothing to do with ROM development
